25. Saxon

Chapter twenty-five

Saxon

I sat in my apartment at my little kitchen table, wondering how I was going to make my life work the way I wanted it to.

The doctor cleared me for work, but I didn’t want to go back.

When sitting alone and being real, I admitted that the accident scared me.

And for the first time in my life, I had two very good reasons not to get hurt.

Ultimately, my head was fine, but my back still actually hurt, though there was no real damage.

Only bruises, and nothing that kept me from working. The only thing stopping me was me.

Shoving my laptop out of the way, I put my head on the table.

I’d been looking for jobs in Florida and not having much luck.

Kay and Donny were in Florida more than LA.

Although Donny was still in LA, Kay flew back alone to get started on recording their next album, while Donny finished up some work.

He did a lot of his work from Kay’s, but there was stuff he needed to do here.

Namely, pressing hands with clients located here.

This was why Harrison gave him the business.

He was the LA guy, while Harrison was on the East Coast. But things had apparently changed since then. That left Donny flying around a lot.

But was that possible for me? I needed to be stationed wherever they were at the most. And I wanted a job where I could take more time off to spend more time on tour with Kay. Especially this next one—their first headlining tour. But they had to record the music first. And that put Kay in Florida.

Giving up on job hunting, I took a shower and got ready to put a Netflix movie on when there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see Donny standing there, grinning at me. “Hi, Daddy.”

“Come in, Donny. What’re you doing here?”

“Missed you.” He frowned. “I miss Kay.”

“Me too.” I sat on the couch and pulled Donny beside me. “When are you going?”

“To Miami?” He straddled my lap and buried his face in my neck. “Two days.”

“Oh.”

“Why don’t you come too?”

“I have to work.” But I was already trying to get out of that. Wasn’t I? These guys meant a lot to me. I wanted to take care of people, which could mean Donny and Kay. It didn’t have to mean putting out fires.

“Remember Matty?” He sat up and looked at me. “His daddy is the singer in Star Fly.”

“I remember you telling me about him.”

“Well. He’s going to be in Miami. Their band did a small tour at small venues around here to promote them, but they’re going back to Miami since that’s over. They need to work out venue contracts with MH Management and Coleman. I have to be there for that.”

“You’re representing Star Fly now?”

“No, no. I represent MH management. I can’t work for the bands they manage. Although Harrison is working on partnering with a few affiliates. That might help clear my schedule, so I don’t have to be in LA all the time, too.”

“Oh.” That meant more time away from my boys.

“You’re frowning, Daddy.” He kissed the side of my mouth.

“I don’t want to be without you guys. I…I’m looking for jobs near Kay’s place.”

“In Miami? That would be so much better.”

“I have to do something. This thing between us is important, and we need more time together.”

“Agreed.” He smiled his shark-smile that I’d started associating with mischief. “You should come with me.”

Taking more time off wasn’t a good thing. But.

My brain churned with ideas. The lease on the apartment was up soon, and I’d already received a rent increase notice.

No one in my family would miss me, nor I them.

Colten was the only one I’d miss. We’d become close friends over the years.

We were closer now than I’d ever been with his brother, which was how we met.

But putting my life on hold because we were friends wasn’t something anyone wanted.

Besides, we would still be friends whether I left town or not.

And I’d visit occasionally, since Donny still ran the LA office.

“If I take off, I’ll get in trouble with work, but I’m not sure I care about that.”

Donny kissed me. Softly. Sweetly. “I don’t want to tell you what to do, Saxon. And Kay should be included in any decisions we make together. So if you’re going to get in trouble, maybe put it off until later.”

“I don’t think I can. Put it off, I mean. Let’s call Kay and talk about it.”

“He might be in bed; they’re three hours ahead.”

“Let’s try.”

Donny grabbed his phone off the coffee table and tapped the screen, waiting while it rang.

“Donny?” Kay’s sleepy face popped up on the screen.

“Hey, you. I’m here with Daddy.” He turned the phone toward me.

“Did we wake you up?” I asked him.

“No, not really. I was in bed but not sleeping yet. What’s going on?”

Donny moved the phone again so we could both see, stretching out his arm. “Saxon is having issues about staying in California while we’re in Florida. We want him to come with me, but he’s afraid of getting in trouble at work.”

“I’m also not sure I want to keep working there,” I added.

“Oh. Well, what do you want to do?” Kay asked.

Wasn’t that the question? “I’ve been looking for work but haven’t found anything there.”

“Here?” Kay asked. “In Florida?”

“Yes, in Miami.”

Kay rubbed his face. “You can stay with me, Daddy. You don’t have to actually have a job before you get here. And maybe you won’t like it.”

“I want to be with you guys. My rent is going up, and I’m not sure if I want to be a firefighter anymore. Staying here is becoming less and less appealing by the second.”

Donny cleared his throat. “You can stay with me when we’re in LA. Hell, when we’re both gone, you can still stay there—at my place. You don’t need to rent somewhere else.”

“You two are making this easy.” I smiled. “I’ve never done anything this risky before.” But I also had Colten. He’d help me if I needed a place to land.

“Then you should come. If your work gets mad, too bad for them,” Donny said matter-of-factly.

“I’ll call work tomorrow and see.”

“Yay!” Kay yelled. “Now that we have that settled, Donny, are we going to have a playdate with Matty?”

“I’m working on setting something up, yes.”

That was another thing. Matty was a new little-friend who would be more than likely touring with them. “Do you think I can meet Matty’s daddy?” It was important, since this new relationship with Matty was happening.

They both liked that idea a lot. The planning was moving forward. And I was about to leave LA. Maybe.

“Hey…” Donny turned to me. “Maybe Colten can come visit in Florida, too?”

“I’ll ask him.” I had a feeling Donny would try to play matchmaker with Colten and Joe. Hmm…Interesting .

Miami, FL

“What is going on in here?” Matty was dancing around. Naked. “Oh my.”

Drake and Star Fly had already worked out the business with setting up venues and were now out looking for apartments, so they could have a permanent base in Miami.

That was huge, since they were all from LA.

While they did that, the guys had a playdate, so Matty was here. And apparently, sans-clothes.

“Oh my…uh, Matty. Put your clothes on.”

“I don’t wanna. Dey not comfy.” He tossed his pants across the room.

Donny jumped up and down. Again. “We’re dancing, Daddy. Matty showed us how.”

“That’s fine, but we need clothes on.”

Matty pouted and sat on the floor, crisscross and arms over his chest. What the hell was I supposed to do with that?

“Matty, your daddy will be here to pick you up soon, and you’re going to need clothes on for that.” Sounded reasonable to me.

“No…” Matty jumped up and ran around the room, giving us all an eyeful of his bouncing privates. At least he wasn’t hard.

Donny and Kay laughed, which only encouraged the scamp. The whole thing was interrupted by a knocking on the door, and I was pretty sure it was Drake. I hoped it was, because I was in over my head.

I walked back through the house and opened the door. “Thank God. Matty’s a little out of control.”

“Not again.” Drake moaned. He was a big guy, and I had no doubt he could throw Matty over his shoulder and haul him out of there. He wore a Midnight Hunt T-shirt that pulled tight at his massive biceps. The man might be bigger than me. I made a mental note to set up a daddies workout together date.

But first, we needed to reel Matty in. “He’s decided he doesn’t want clothes.”

Drake followed me back to the playroom, where all three of our littles were running around in circles, and all three were naked.

“I’m sorry about this.” He stepped into the room and put on his daddy voice. “Matty. You’re going to get your friends in trouble. It’s time to go. Put your clothes on.”

Matty stopped running, and the other two nearly bowled into him. Tears welled up in his eyes. “Yes, Daddy.” His chin wobbled.

“Fuck,” Drake muttered. “I’ll be right back.” He turned and pointed at Matty. “Get dressed. I mean it.”

Matty looked for his clothes while Drake darted out.

“You two. Clothes on.” I pointed at them.

They both gave me, “Yes, Daddy,” and pulled shirts over their heads. Kay pulled on the loose shorts he favored and Donny pulled on sweatpants. I was thankful that they listened and behaved without drama.

Drake came back in and pushed past me. “Here, Matty.” He handed Matty a pacifier and a bear.

Matty, now dressed, thankfully, grabbed the offerings. “Thank you, Daddy.”

“He’ll be asleep in the car before we get off this street.” He did, in fact, pick Matty up, throwing him over his shoulder. “Sorry if he was trouble.”

“That’s, uh, fine. No problem.” I figured there might be a longer conversation about it later. But at that moment, it was time for them to go. Matty raised his hand and waved while sucking on his pacifier as Drake took him out of the room.

Donny tugged on the hem of my shirt. “Watch, Daddy. Matty taught us some moves. Show ‘em, Kay.”

“Okay.” Kay turned around, facing away from me, spread his feet a little, then bent over and wiggled his ass while looking back at me with a flirty little smile on his lips.

Before I registered that move, Donny positioned himself. “Watch me. Wee…” He twirled around, grabbing the bottom of his shirt and pulling it up and over his head as he moved. Coming to a stop, he shook his hips, back and forth. “How’s that?”

“What kind of moves did Matty teach you. That looks like, uh, stripping.”

Kay held his hands up over his head. “Sexy dance moves we get to show you.” He did the same twirl thing as Donny, pulling his shirt off, but when he finished his twirl, he slung his hair forward and back. “Matty says I have perfect hair for that one.”

“Oh, you do. You definitely do.” It was sexy and amusing.

Donny clapped. “Good job, Kay.”

“I think Matty is a bad influence on you two.” I reached out for Donny, but he stepped back and dropped his sweatpants to the ground, shaking his hips. His cock was at half-mast and getting harder.

Kay dropped to his knees and crawled over to Donny, swinging his hips as he did.

Stripper music played in my head as he moved.

He sat up and licked the underside of Donny’s cock, which made Donny let out an overly dramatic purr.

“Oh…Kay…” He ran his hands through Kay’s hair. “Come on, Daddy. Play with us.”

Watching Kay suck Donny off was turning me on more than their new moves had, and it didn’t take long before the three of us climbed on the bed for mutual blow jobs. These two tugged at my heart and added so much fun to my life. There wasn’t a damn thing I wouldn’t do for them.
