Epilogue #2

“I married you,” Vivian answered. “I reserve the right to take my time.” She pressed a slow, open-mouthed kiss to the inside of Sienna’s left thigh, then another higher, where the skin grew softer and more sensitive.

Sienna’s muscles jumped under her wife’s lips.

Vivian smiled against her, then turned her head and finally brushed her mouth over the wet heat waiting for her.

Sienna’s gasp punched the air, sharp and helpless. Her knees wobbled, and Vivian’s hands tightened on her hips, anchoring her.

“That’s it,” Vivian murmured, more to herself than to Sienna.

She licked a slow stripe from base to tip, tasting her fully, then circled her tongue around that small, tight bundle of nerves that always made Sienna forget words.

It worked now, too. Sienna’s head hit the Jeep with a soft thud, as an inaudible sound climbed out of her chest. Vivian settled into a rhythm that was all patience and intent.

There was no rush. No crew waiting. No countdown to “We’re live.” Just the wet slide of her tongue, the quiet, breathy curses falling from Sienna’s lips, the rustle of leaves and distant birds calling like they were cheering them on.

“I love you, Vivian,” Sienna whispered, voice cracking on the second syllable of her name when Vivian sucked gently and added the light pressure of her fingers, teasing at her entrance. “Oh God. Okay. Okay, this is… okay.”

Vivian hummed in agreement, the vibration making Sienna jolt.

She slid one finger inside, then two, slow and careful, loving the way Sienna clenched around the intrusion, how she always took her so greedily once the first stretch passed.

Her other hand stroked up and down Sienna’s hip, thumb tracing idle patterns on her skin to keep her grounded.

“Relax,” Vivian said against her. Her lips brushed that throbbing point of pleasure before closing around it again. “I’ve got you.”

Sienna’s laugh came out broken. “You say that like I’m not about to collapse on top of your face.”

“That’s a risk I’m willing to take.” Vivian curled her fingers just right and dragged her tongue over Sienna with purpose.

She knew every response now, every sharp inhale, every shudder that meant she had hit the spot.

Sienna’s thighs trembled around her, muscles tightening as she tried to breathe through the rising wave.

“Viv… please,” Sienna gasped. Her grip on the Jeep went white-knuckled. “Don’t stop.”

Vivian had zero intention of stopping. She worked her fingers in a steady rhythm, matching it with her mouth, that perfect pressure, that perfect speed they had both learned together over the past year of late nights and lazy mornings.

Sienna’s hips started to move, tiny jerks and rolls that Vivian welcomed, meeting each one.

The sounds Sienna made got higher, less like words and more like the truth spilling out of her.

The jungle around them blurred into background noise.

All Vivian saw was the way Sienna’s belly fluttered, the way a flush spread across her chest, and the way her thighs tried to close around Vivian’s head and couldn’t.

“I’m… I’m right there,” Sienna managed, voice wrecked. “Viv, I’m—”

Vivian sealed her mouth over her and gave her exactly what she needed.

She removed her fingers and gave one more lingering suck.

Sienna came apart in Vivian’s mouth with a loud cry.

Her boots slipped slightly in the mud as pleasure tore through her.

Vivian held her through it, riding the wave with her, easing her down with gentler licks until Sienna sagged against the Jeep.

When Vivian finally pulled back, her knees protested, but her heart felt impossibly full. She pressed one last kiss to the inside of Sienna’s thigh, then stood. Her hands skimmed up her wife’s body, tugging her underwear and jeans back into place in a clumsy attempt at decency.

Sienna blinked at her wife, eyes glassy and stunned, lips parted. “You are a bad influence,” she said eventually, voice hoarse.

Vivian brushed a damp strand of hair off her forehead and kissed her gently, letting Sienna taste herself on her tongue. “You were panicking,” she said. “I handled it. I say that’s a beneficial influence.”

Sienna laughed, that wild, delighted sound Vivian loved more than any quiet, composed moment the world expected from her. She dropped her head to Vivian’s shoulder again and wrapped her arms tight around her. “We are never telling anyone this is how we spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica.”

Vivian smiled into her hair. “Absolutely not,” she agreed. “As far as everyone else knows, we got stuck in the mud, called for help, and behaved like responsible adults.”

Sienna snorted. “You are going to think about this every single time you see a Jeep.”

Vivian tipped her chin up with one finger. “And I will never forget that I made my wife scream in the middle of a national park.”

A blush crept up Sienna’s throat, completely at odds with the satisfied, wrecked little smile tugging at her mouth. “Pretty sure that is not what they meant by eco-tourism,” she muttered.

Vivian’s laugh was loud and smug as she brushed her thumb over Sienna’s kiss-swollen bottom lip. “Then Costa Rica clearly needs to update the brochure,” she said. “The views are spectacular from right here.”

Heat flickered again in Sienna’s eyes. “Careful, Viv,” she murmured. “You keep talking like that and I’m going to insist on a repeat performance if we ever make it back to the hotel.”

Vivian’s answering smile was slow and wicked. “Already on the itinerary.”

Sienna drew in a breath, a sassy comeback on the tip of her tongue. But her words were cut off by the most welcoming sound ever. The distant rumble of an engine.

“We’re saved!” Vivian shouted, feeling a hundred pounds lighter. Up ahead, she could just make out the shape of another car approaching. She kissed Sienna hard on her lips and tasted her relief. Then she stepped back and windmilled her arms. “OVER HERE!”
