I take a drink of my coffee, trying to think of what to say. I avoided the topic this morning, waiting until we were dressed, and Ty agreed to go over to the café with me. “Not a coffee fan?” I ask. He ordered hot chocolate and although it’s fall, it still feels hot out.

“Never really got over the bitter taste,” Ty says with a shrug.

We fall silent, and it’s probably for the best. A crowded room full of other students getting their morning coffee isn’t the best place for us to talk about sex. Of course, I want to have sex with Ty, but I’ve never been someone’s first. The guys I’ve been with were experienced bottoms and needed minimal prep.

I’m not entirely against the idea of Ty topping me either, but it still leaves us with the same issue. Last night, when he rimmed me for a moment, is the closest a guy has ever been to my ass. I won’t deny that it felt good after I got over the surprise of it all, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready to lube up and hop on Ty’s cock. I’m supposed to be the more experienced bi guy in this fooling around situation or whatever we’re doing, but when it comes to this, I’m lost.

“You want to take this back to one of our rooms?” I ask.

“We’re lucky we got you out this morning without someone seeing you. Come on,” Ty gestures with his chin at the door. “Let’s take a walk.”

I grab my drink, following him outside, and Ty leads us to the sidewalk. “Didn’t mean to freeze up on you earlier. Sorry, just wasn’t expecting that kind of question first thing when I woke up.”

“I get it,” Ty shrugs. “You don’t have to answer. It’s just something I was thinking about, and the question popped out. Didn’t mean to assume anything, I mean if you’d rather,” he shrugs not finishing the sentence.

We’re walking in the general direction of Greek Row, but there’s some distance to cover before we get there. Neither of us is in much of a hurry. It’s Friday, and we don’t have practice until tomorrow morning. My first class is hours away, meaning I can’t just avoid the question. “It’s not that I don’t want to,” I say finally. Ty turns and looks at me, raising one eyebrow. “I mean topping you, if you’re interested in that.”

“I’ve been thinking about it,” Ty says.

“Just not sure we’re there yet. There’s plenty of time to try out a few other new things, see what we like. It’s not a race to the finish line. It’s been fun, right?” I ask.

Ty takes a step closer and cups my cheek. He leans in like he’s going to kiss me, then stops when his lips are right in front of mine. “I’m having fun, and no, I’m not in any rush.” He presses his lips to mine. I can taste the sweet cocoa on his mouth from his drink as he takes his time to kiss me. Despite our very public location, Ty doesn’t seem to care if anyone walks by and sees us making out. By the time we pull back, my pants are tighter than they were when we started.

“You want to hang out after practice tomorrow?” I change the topic. “We could go into town, maybe hit a few shops or go to the movies?” I’m trying to play it casual and not make it obvious that I’m asking Ty on a date.

“Sure, sounds like fun. I should let you go for now, though. Before I’m tempted to drag you off to my room again and miss my test.” There’s a smirk on Ty’s face as his eyes roam down my body, checking me out before he looks at my eyes again. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

I grabbed my things earlier when we left Ty’s room, meaning I don’t have to follow him back. We split ways when we hit our houses, and I wave at Ty as I head inside my frat. There are a few guys wandering around, drinking coffee, eating breakfast or on their way out the door to class or practice. I push my way to my room and close the door behind me. Once I’m alone, the first thing I do is grab a change of clothes. I wasn’t planning on staying the night with Ty last night, so I didn’t have a spare change of clothes. Ty coming on my chest was hot as fuck, but I really need a shower and something clean to wear.

With my shower stuff ready, I head down the hall to the bathroom. The set up is a little better than the gym showers. Instead of curtains, there’s a full sectioned off room for each shower with a lock. I don’t have to worry about anyone getting a glimpse. Maybe I should invite Ty back to my room and we can have a repeat of the fun in the shower. It’d be nice not to have to worry about getting caught, I think to myself with a laugh. I shake off the thought and strip off my clothes, focusing on the task of the moment. I need to wash up.

I ignore my half-hard dick as I lather up with soap. I’m not really hard after coming last night, but my fingers brush over my pucker as I clean, and I pause. Water isn’t the best lube, but it’ll work in a pinch. I toy with my opening, thinking about Ty’s tongue on me. Maybe I wasn’t hard a few moments ago, but that’s quickly changing. Between standing up and the inadequate lube, I can’t do much more than tease myself, but it’s enough to make me seriously think about exploring the option. Maybe it could be fun to try bottoming with Ty.

I’m thinking ahead about our date during practice. Ty catches my eyes a few times, but mostly we keep to ourselves. He sticks with Walsh and the other forwards while I’m surrounded by our defense. With how distracted I am, it’s a wonder I manage the drills and practice to begin with. I looked up events happening in town today and movie listings. It might not be an official date, but I’m gonna make sure Ty has fun.

“Hit the showers!” Coach calls out, ending practice.

The crowd of us file into the locker room and the guys around me fall into their routine, stripping off clothes to shower. I grab my things quickly, going through the motions to get done sooner. I don’t have time to waste if I want to spend as much time as possible with Ty. I’m clean and dressed in casual clothes in record time. Ty isn’t even finished with his shower. I pull out my phone, looking over my messages as I wait. Other guys move around me, making their way to lockers and grabbing things. That’s when I notice a new message.

Jen: Did you tell your guy how you feel? Do you have a boyfriend now?

I can almost hear her teasing tone in the words. I type out a quick message back.

Me: We’re going on a date this afternoon.

It’s too soon to tell Ty I have actual feelings for him. I need to take this slow if I don’t want to scare him off.

“Hey, you ready to go?” Ty asks. When I look up from my phone, he’s standing near me with his bag slung over his shoulder. I nod and head for the door.

“Did you want to drop off our stuff first? We can walk back to Greek Row and go from there? I figure it makes more sense if we take one car. Save on gas and all that.”

“Sounds good.” We walk side by side in silence for a few moments. “Only a few games left in the season,” Ty comments.

“Yeah, you gonna miss it?” I ask. It’s not lost on me that this is our last season. It’s been a nice run, but at the same time, I think I’ll enjoy not being on the team anymore. Not having to worry as much about my diet and exercise to stay in shape during the off season. I’m sure I’ll continue working out, but not to the same degree.

Ty shrugs. “I guess so. It’ll be different. No more practice or hanging out with the team.” He shakes his head, then changes the subject. “So uh, what kind of movie did you have in mind?”

“There’s this new zombie apocalypse movie.” I looked at the listings ahead of time and figured I had a better shot with this one than a rom-com. Don’t want to scare Ty off by making it too obvious we’re on a date.

“Zombies? Is it an action flick, or one of those funny ones?” He looks over at me, and I don’t miss the teasing tone of his voice.

“Action. That work?” We’re getting closer to our frat houses, and I slow down my pace to finish the conversation.

“Sure.” Ty looks around before taking a step closer to me. He places a quick kiss on my lips. “I’ll meet back up with you here?” With that, he turns and heads off to his frat.
