Chapter 27
Planting Seeds
Liora
We arrived home after dark. The men had insisted on going for a walk through the park and getting ice cream after a delicious Italian meal. Finn, Aiden, and Mace had joined us not long after Geo and I arrived at the bistro and I had the feeling they were hiding something.
Now, I yawned as we got out of the car. Geo grabbed my hand like he couldn't handle not touching me constantly and we walked into the house together. It smelled odd.
I stopped and sniffed. "There's something different in here."
"Marco brought your stuff back while we were eating," Mace said offhandedly. "It's in the hallway."
I walked into the hallway and stopped dead. There were three huge boxes sitting there with soft things sticking out.
"What's this?"
"Go check it out," Geo urged, letting go of my hand.
Tentatively, I walked up and peeked into the boxes. There were blankets that I'd never chosen, but had run my hands over, pillows and cushions, and more.
"We had your room set up a little differently since you don't want to move to the nest," Finn told me. He walked past me and pushed open the bedroom door. The scent of fresh paint wafted out and I frowned.
"You painted it?"
"You'll need to stay in another room for tonight, but yes."
I stepped into the room that Geo and I were sharing and stared in shock.
The entire space was painted a light lilac color, with dark purple curtains hanging over the window.
The bed had been replaced with one Geo and I had decided we'd get for our own place.
It was higher than the others and wider, but it still fit nicely in the room.
The mattress was soft and supportive and the headboard was elegant carved wood painted white.
"We didn't do the bedding yet, since the paint is still drying, but it will be ready tomorrow," Finn assured me.
"How did you even do this?"
"Well, it was really Marco and two of his cousins. We hired them to come take care of everything while we were out with you."
"Wow." I leaned back against Geo and sighed. "It really looks nice. And I love the blankets. Thank you."
"It's nowhere near what you should be given," Finn told me. "After all the shit we put you through and the fucking torture you underwent because of our decisions, you deserve the world. In fact," he suddenly knelt in front of me.
My blood ran cold. He could not be asking for marriage, not when I still didn't know how to forgive them.
"I'm giving you my shares in the company." He held out an envelope.
"What do you mean? That's your company."
"And now it's yours. I'll keep working there for a salary." He offered the envelope again and I took it. Inside was a certificate stating that I was the partial owner of ADP Group.
"This is too much."
"No, it's exactly what you deserve. We put the business over you and now you can put it over me."
I held the piece of paper gingerly, not sure what to do. You didn't just give someone a business like this. Not when you threw them away for that same business.
Mace stepped forward and held out another envelope, this one black with gold trim. "I'm doing the same."
"And so am I." Aiden handed me his envelope.
"It's all legally done, these are just formalities," Mace explained. "You're alread the full owner of ADP Group. As of 10 am this morning."
"Why?" I stared at the three envelopes in my hands. This couldn't be real. They were trying to trick me or catch me off guard.
"Because we love you. We did everything wrong while we had you, but we can make sure you're taken care of from now on. You'll never need to be with an alpha for money. You'll have everything you need."
"Thank you." I stood there awkwardly, still unsure how to take this.
"Well, I'm going to bed." Finn stood and stretched. He gave me a peck on the cheek and left, jogging up the stairs to his room.
"Where are we sleeping tonight?" Geo asked me. "That room is too full of paint fumes."
"I guess we could sleep in my old nest," I said reluctantly.
"OR, we camp out in the living room," Geo grinned at me. He started digging through the boxes until he found a silky robe in rich purple and handed it to me. Then he pulled out a couple of fuzzy blankets and the pillow I'd loved at the store. "Come on, babe, let's settle in for the night.
Geo made up a bed on the sofa and I laid down on it. Then he pulled me down onto the soft cushions and rolled us up under the blankets.
"Do you want to watch TV?"
"No. I want to understand why the pack just gave me their business." I frowned.
"I told you, they want to make it up to you. They've realized that they messed up and there's only so much apologizing you can do before it gets annoying. This is their idea of giving you something to show you how much they mean it."
"It's a big gesture," I said slowly.
"It is." He kissed my neck and wrapped an arm around my middle. "Stop thinking so hard and try to get some sleep."
It wan't easy to fall asleep, but when I did, I slept soundly and didn't wake until Finn dropped a pan in the kitchen. That got me up in a hurry, but I also had to pee.
After we showered together and got changed, we both headed hand in hand to the kitchen. Finn had a huge stack of pancakes waiting for us with three syrups and a variety of other toppings.
"Where is everyone else?" I asked, as the three of us sat down to eat.
"Out and about." Finn didn't elaborate, so I dropped the idea and settled in to eat the pancakes he'd slathered in butter and whipped cream, topping mine with chocolate sauce and strawberries. Geo stuck with regular maple syrup, but he swiped some of my whipped cream.
"Don't you have to work?" I asked Geo suddenly. "You've been here for days."
"I took heat leave." He gave me a grin. "That's a full week off, so I don't need to go back until Monday."
"Okay." I relaxed and leaned back in my chair, full already. "That was amazing, Finn. Thank you.
There was a rumble in the driveway and I frowned. I guess the guys weren't at work.
They didn't come inside and after a bit, I heard thumping on the back porch. Standing up, I ran to the back and went out on the porch where we used to sit all the time.
Aiden and Mace were back there, digging up the flower beds I'd once tended so carefully. My first day back, I'd noticed they were overgrown and dead, but now all the dead plants were gone.
"What are you doing?" I looked around at the bags of soil on the porch and both turned to me, with big smiles.
"Putting your garden back. We missed your flowers and your puttering."
"And the plants?"
"Right here." Finn and Geo appeared around the side of the house with their arms full of trays that held potted plants.
"We couldn't remember everything you liked, but we can add more later," Finn told me. He set the plants down and hurried back around the house.
"Roses," I beamed, running to start sorting out the different types of plants. There were a variety of floral plants and a few herbs, too. They must have remembered that I loved the smell of herbs.
With everyone pitching in, it only took the rest of the morning to get the rest of the beds dug up and planted.
It was relaxing, working in the sun with their alpha scents wafting around me and mixing with the aroma of the roses.
I carefully tucked each plant where I wanted it and Finn came along behind to water everything.
Geo was fertilizing and pausing every so often to tell me how pretty I was and to kiss me. It was sweet.
By the time we went in for lunch, we were all sweaty and covered in dirt. Everyone split off to go shower and Geo and I found ourselves together in the shower again. I took the initiative this time, soaping him up and washing him. He instantly hardened in my hand as I gripped his cock to wash it.
"Careful or we won't make it out there in time for the pizza Aiden ordered," Geo warned, but his eyes were sparkling.
I dropped to my knees on the hard tile floor and licked a line up the underside of his dick.
"Baby, you don't have to do that."
"I know." I smiled up at him and took him in my mouth, just the way they'd taught us in the center, letting my throat muscles work around him as I swallowed down his length.
Geo groaned and buried his fingers in my hair, one hand on my head, one on the wall to brace himself. He didn't push my head, just let his hand rest there, gently massaging as I bobbed up and down.
"I'm going to cum, Li."
I didn't let him pull out and a second later, he erupted down my throat as I squeezed his knot in my hands. He pulsed several times deep in my throat before he eased himself out.
"I don't even want to know where you learned that," he groaned. "I don't want to imagine any other alpha getting that kind of throat massage from you."
"I never did it for anyone. It was something we practiced, but I never did it for the Pack Parker, even when they wanted it," I told him honestly.
His eyes flashed with anger for a split second before he pulled me up and kissed me. "I'll make it up to you tonight, but right now, we need to go eat."
