Ten Years Later

"You're up early." Grayson nuzzled my neck, inhaling the scent he'd fallen for a decade ago. "What's going on?"

"Rory is up for parole today," I said.

"Oh? Are you worried?"

"Not really. If he gets out, I think we can take care of him pretty easily, but I also don't think he's going to get out."

"I hope not." He walked over to pour himself some coffee. "Why are you so confident?"

"Because I sent in a video testimony. In case the parole board hasn't seem my impact statement yet." I grinned at him. "If they do let him off, he'll be coming for me. If not, he loses a few more years in the pen."

"When will we know?"

"In about two hours, but I couldn't sleep."

"Want to go for a swing in the hammock?" Grayson suggested.

With a smile, I followed him outside. It was summer and the sun was warm even when barely over the trees. Grayson climbed into our largest hammock and I climbed on top of him. We'd learned years ago that this was the perfect way to have sex, with a littel rocking motion.

I was wearing my nightie still and Grayson pushed down his waistband while I lifted my nightgown and settled onto his hard length. "Mm, you feel so good."

"Even aftera ll this time?"

"Especially after all this time," I told him, rocking to get things moving. Grason dropped a foot to the floor and swung us a little before starting to thrust up into me.

"You feel so good around me, baby."

"Starting without us?" Oren appeared with Jude. They settled into nearby hammocks to watch as we rocked toward our mutual climax.

"Just getting warmed up for you," Grayson groaned. "Fuck, I'm cumming." His knot lodged in my entrance and I leaned forward to let him get more of himself inside me as I came too.

"I'm next," Jude called, running over and perching on Grayson's legs. "Lean forward, Em."

An hour later, we were sated and headed back inside for breakfast. It was then that Santi showed up, looking tousled. He and Oren had been at it until the wee hours of the morning and we pointed out how Oren was up long before him.

Then it was finally time.

I clicked over to the live parole hearing and sat in front of my laptop.

Rory tried to come across as contrite until someone pointed out that he'd beaten up three men in the past month. "Is that really a reformed man?"

"I'm safe around omegas," he insisted, looking at the camera and smirking. It was definitely for me.

"That bastard," Oren muttered.

"Parole denied." The main guy stamped the paperwork with a big red denied.

"What the fuck?" Rory leaped up and threw himself over the desk. The feed cut out and we all stared at each other.

"I guess he'll be in there for a few more years, attacking the parole board." Grayson sighed. "No need to worry about that waste of space, darling."

I jumped up, feeling lighter already. "Let's go to the beach!"

As we piled into the car for the beach trip, I thought back to when I'd been so restricted as an omega that the beach had seemed like a distant dream. Now I lived just an hour from the ocean and we could go whenever we felt like it.

"Life is pretty much perfect now," I sighed happily.

"Pretty much?" Oren shook his head. "Guys, we have our work cut out for us."
