Chapter Twenty-Five
Omen
T AKING MY brIDE into the clubhouse, I stop as soon as the door closes and let Oaklynn slide down my body. She trembles when she feels my hard cock press against her stomach as I lean down and kiss her deeply once more. My arms are wrapped tight around her body as she melts into me. For what feels like an eternity, there’s nothing else in the world but the two of us. My parents and her aunt will watch over Amanda as I have a few minutes of time with Oaklynn without anyone else around. No, I’m not gonna fuck her right now because I want to slowly peel her dress of her sexy body and kiss every inch of her skin before worshipping her like the fucking queen she is. Oaklynn deserves me to take my time with her and not have some rushed fuck in the clubhouse after we just got married. She deserves the entire world and I plan on giving it to her in any way I can. Both of my girls deserve the very best and they’ll never have to worry about me walking away from them.
When we finally break apart, both of us are breathing heavily as Oaklynn looks up at me through hooded eyes. I reach between the two of us and adjust my cock in my jeans so I’m a little more comfortable.
“I love you, Baby Girl. Tonight is all about us and I know you want your parents here on our special day. If I could make it happen, I would in a heartbeat,” I tell her as her chin wobbles in emotion and tears fill her eyes.
“I know you would, Kellan. That’s one of the many reasons I love you. You’re such a good dad to our daughter and I know when she gets old enough to date, no one will ever measure up to you and the love you have for her. She’ll see how a man is supposed to treat his woman and won’t take any shit because you’ll make her a little badass who can protect herself. She’s already a daddy’s girl and loves her Papa more than anything. Between the two of you, our children will always know love, support, strength, and have someone they can always come to no matter what’s going on. I love you,” she says, making my heart swell in my chest because she’s being completely open and honest with me and this is how she truly feels. No one has ever loved me the way Oaklynn does and now I know I’ve been waiting for her my entire life and had no clue.
We take a few more minutes to just be alone together before heading outside to join everyone for our reception. The ol’ ladies and Oaklynn have gone above and beyond for our day and ensured every decoration and detail was gone over with a fine tooth comb. This is what my wife wants for her wedding and I’m glad to give it to her. The only thing missing is the one thing I can’t give her—her parents and uncle being here to celebrate with us. I’m glad her aunt made the trip here though. Oaklynn needs her in her corner and I can’t wait to spend the next few days with her until she heads back home where she’s slowly rebuilding her life after losing her husband.
With Oaklynn’s hand in mine, we make our way out back and stop to talk to everyone for a few minutes as they offer their congratulations and give us words of wisdom from the few who are married and in love with their significant other. Oaklynn truly shines as she listens and thanks each person as we slowly make our way to the table at the front where the rest of our wedding party is already waiting for us. Music plays softly in the background as we finally get to our table and I pull out Oaklynn’s chair before pushing it closer to the table once she’s sitting comfortably. Taking my seat next to her, I rest my hand on her back, feeling her soft skin under my calloused hand as I rub my fingers back and forth.
The tables are draped in white table cloths with dark blue and silver ribbons tied to each chair. A small bouquet of wildflowers with lilacs sit in the center of each table. Oaklynn wanted to have lilacs included in her flowers and the centerpieces because they were her mom’s favorite flower. She told me about the trees her dad planted at their home and how it’s one of the things she missed the most when she had to move with her aunt and uncle. For the food, Oaklynn wanted to keep everything simple and things she knew everyone would enjoy. We’re basically having a huge barbeque with all the sides you could ever want. The only thing she didn’t want to do is have everyone serve themselves buffet style. So, the Prospects are bringing out the plates the catering company fills and making sure we all have everything we want.
The Prospects are walking from one table to the next, delivering food and drinks to our wedding guests. They’ll eat once everyone is served because that’s what Oaklynn wants. They have a table to themselves because she wants to ensure they all know they’re part of our day even if they have to work every now and then. The only Slayer Slit here today is CeCe because my wife is close to her and there’s no way she wouldn’t be included in our day. Yes, it made the rest of the girls pissed the fuck off. Oaklynn quickly put a stop to their bitching though. I laugh to myself as I remember walking into the clubhouse to find Oaklynn in a standoff with the girls.
Walking through the door of the clubhouse, I can already hear one of the girls shouting. My eyes take in the scene in front of me as my dad, Homicide, Grudge, and Brick all come to a stop to see what’s about to happen. Oaklynn is standing in front of the Slayer Slits as they surround her with pissed off expressions on their faces.
“Who the fuck do you think you are? You come in here and take Omen from us, get two of the girls kicked out for no reason, and now CeCe is the only one who is allowed to attend the wedding and reception while the rest of us will be taken off the compound and put in a hotel for the night? I know you’re the one who made that decision only you’re not thinking about the single men here,” the skank directly in front of Oaklynn states, her voice hard and cold as she glares at my fiancé.
“First of all, those two skanks got kicked out all on their own. They attacked me while I was pregnant and that’s not something any of the men in this club will tolerate for any reason. Then they attacked me again and made me go into labor early with Omen’s daughter. Until he made the decision to be with me, Omen was more than welcome to fuck each and every one of you. It’s not because of me that he chose not to touch your slutty asses. Most of you are washed up and I’m sure most of the guys here are getting sick of your petty bullshit. They’re men and have the right to sit in the clubhouse without you pawing all over them because you’re desperate pieces of shit.
“As far as who I am, that’s easy. I’m Oaklynn. I’m the mom to Omen’s daughter and his ol’ lady. Soon, I’ll be his wife. No, that doesn’t mean I’m any better than any of you as a human. In this world, yes I am higher ranked than you are and you all knew that when you walked through the door and decided to become a Slayer Slit. Any ol’ lady will always be held in higher regard than you. That’s your decision to make. And I didn’t make the decision to send the rest of you to a hotel for the night of our wedding. I don’t know who made the call, but it wasn’t me. No, I don’t want to deal with you because most of you are complete bitches who believe the world should fall at your feet instead of working with us like CeCe and one or two others. Again, your decision to make and it’s not a wise one. The guys see and hear everything. So, I suggest you all get the fuck away from me and deal with the situation like adults instead of whining like a little bitch,” Oaklynn states, never taking her eyes off the skank standing in front of her.
No one else says a word as I make my presence known by walking through the circle of girls to pull Oaklynn into my arms. I kiss the life out of her in front of everyone This woman fucking slays me every damn day. I never know what the fuck to expect when she’s around. When I pull my mouth from Oaklynn’s, I turn to face the girls.
“If you wanna know who decided to send all of you away, it was me. I don’t fuckin’ want any of you here. Oaklynn didn’t find out about it until after I brought it up in church and the vote didn’t go in your favor. Every man here knows that you won’t be around and will make other arrangements for the night. CeCe is invited to stay for our day because she’s taken the time to help Oaklynn and actually talk to her as a person. Not as someone who came in to take somethin’ from them. I am not your fuckin’ possession, I’m a man with my own thoughts and feelings. All of us are. The sooner you realize that shit, the better off you’ll be. We’re all sick of your shit and some of you should be very worried about remainin’ here long-term,” I growl out as the faces of several girls pale while staring at me.
Taking Oaklynn’s hand in mine, I lead her up to our room where our daughter is taking her nap. I hear my dad going off on the girls as I shut the door and know this isn’t ending with this little confrontation. We’ll be discussing this in church once things settle down.
We eat while talking to everyone at our table. Amanda is in a playpen sleeping behind us and I turn in my seat to keep a close eye on her. Sam is in there with her as they both sleep soundly despite the conversations, laughter, and everyone around the yard.
“Oaklynn, the photographer is ready to get the pictures done. She wanted to make sure you all ate before starting that,” my mom says, walking to our table with Oaklynn’s aunt at her side.
“Okay. Thank you,” she responds as she stands from her seat and we all follow her from under the tent that was put up this morning by the Prospects.
The photographer spends the next forty-five minutes taking various pictures of us. My favorite ones include Amanda even though she’s sleeping in my arms. By the time we’re done, we’re all tired and ready for the photographer to be done. Even Oaklynn’s lagging as she finally says she’s had enough. We all head back under the tent as the photographer wanders around to take candid pictures of the reception. I didn’t even know one was hired for the day until my mom walked up and told us. That’s one of the only details I didn’t remember discussing with my wife leading up to today.
“Will Omen bring his beautiful bride to the dance floor,” Carbon calls out as I turn to face him and see him holding a microphone in his hand. “It’s time for your first dance as husband and wife.”
With Oaklynn’s hand in mine, I lead her to the dance floor that’s been set up in one corner of the tent. Pulling her into my arms, the first notes of Take My Name by Parmalee fill the backyard. It’s a song I’ve heard Oaklynn listening to and knew it was meant to be our song. Oaklynn puts her arms up on my shoulders as she melts into my body and leans her head on my chest so she can look up at me as I slowly turn her on the floor while everyone watches us. I mouth the words of the song to my wife as we find ourselves in our own little world once again.
By the time the song is over with, my dad is standing at our side with a soft smile on his face that only a few people get to see.
“Oaklynn, I know I’m not your dad but you are my daughter now. Would you please do me the honor of letting me dance the father-daughter dance with you today?” he asks her, his voice low so no one else can overhear him as Oaklynn’s eyes fill with tears once again.
“I’d love to dance with you, Rooster,” she says, not pulling out of my arms as she looks up at my dad.
I step back after placing a soft kiss against her lips. Handing my wife over to my dad, I find the edge of the dance floor and take Amanda from my mom’s arms. With my daughter in one hand, I pull my mom into my side with the other one. We watch with everyone else as my dad and wife dance to She’s Somebody’s Daughter by Drew Baldridge. My dad holds Oaklynn in his arms and I watch on, desperately wanting to go to her, when I notice her body shaking as she cries in his arms. This is something she wants to do with her dad and can’t. I’m happy as fuck my own dad stepped up to be there for her, but I’m not sure if this made the situation better or worse.
“She’s okay, Son,” my mom says as she wipes her own tears away and looks up at me. “This is a hard moment for her and your dad will take care of her. Oaklynn needs this even if it hurts because she does have a dad in my husband even if it’s not her biological dad. He’ll always be there for her without hesitation.”
“I know. It’s just hard watchin’ her cry and knowin’ she’s in his arms instead of mine,” I tell her, looking down at Amanda and imagine dancing with her at her wedding one day in the very distant future.
My mom and I watch on as the song continues to play. The second it’s over, I make my way to my dad and wife. Pulling Oaklynn into my arms, I hold her close while the dance floor fills with people as the song changes and becomes one everyone can dance to. I walk off the floor with my girls in my arms and take a seat at our table again. Oaklynn pulls away and wipes her eyes with a napkin before giving me a soft smile. No, I didn’t dance with my mom because I hate dancing. I will only dance with my girls and no one else.
“I’m okay, Omen. I promise you,” she finally says as Amanda starts to stir in my arms.
Standing from my seat, I walk to the playpen and quickly change her diaper before grabbing the blanket and heading back to Oaklynn. Standing in front of her, I hold the blanket around my girls as Oaklynn pulls her dress down enough to expose her chest to nurse our daughter. When Amanda’s in place, I gently cover her with the blanket so no one can see any part of what’s going on right now. Melissa is also nursing Sam a few chairs down as Homicide stands over them, glaring at anyone who dares to look in this direction. I’m the same as I watch over my girls like their protector.
“When you’re done feeding the baby, we’ll have you cut the cake,” Maggie says, walking up to our table and keeping her eyes on me instead of her niece.
“Okay. That works perfectly. I don’t want to keep my girls out here too late. Amanda needs to stay on her schedule. Are you stayin’ at the house with us tonight?” I return, not sure what her plans are for the night.
“No. I’m gonna stay in your room here at the clubhouse to give the two of you privacy on your wedding night. I can keep Amanda with me if you want me to,” she answers as I continue looking at her.
“Thank you, but I think we’ll keep her with us. Oaklynn hates pumpin’ and does it rarely. You’re gonna stay with us startin’ tomorrow though so we can spend time together, yeah?” I question her, knowing Oaklynn won’t want Maggie staying in the clubhouse on her own more than for tonight.
“Yeah. Call me when you guys are ready for me to come over and we’ll spend the day doing whatever you guys want,” she answers before turning and leaving us alone once more.
When Oaklynn and Melissa are done nursing their babies, I take my daughter back in my arms and hand her off to my dad as we make our way over to the table holding the cake. Together, Oaklynn and I cut the first piece and each take a small part of it after putting it on a plate. I catch the evil glint in her eye just before we reach forward to feed one another. I intend on going in and simply feeding my wife the cake, but I have a bad feeling she doesn’t plan on doing the same thing. Holding back, I let her continue reaching forward until she smashes the cake in my face and smear it all over as much as she can while laughing softly. Everyone starts clapping as they watch us. Finally, I make my move. I press the cake against her plump lips and let her take a small bite before smearing the rest of it all over her face. Oaklynn doesn’t get mad or upset but laughs harder than ever.
I see the flash going off as the photographer continues taking pictures of the two of us. My dad’s booming laughter fills the air around us. Everyone starts laughing with us and clap as we turn to face them without a care in the world. This is why I handed our daughter to my dad so she doesn’t get covered in cake right along with the two of us. My mom and Maggie finally step forward and help us clean the mess off our faces. There’s frosting in my beard that will remain there until I can get home and in the shower. This shit is a mess, but I don’t care. It made my wife happy as fuck and that’s all that matters.
After enjoying cake with everyone, I stand from my chair and help Oaklynn out of her seat. We walk over to my parents and Maggie, letting them know we’re heading home for the night as my dad hands Amanda over to me. Together, the three of us make our way to my truck which I brought down earlier. Once my girls are settled in their seats, I walk around and get behind the wheel. Before pulling out to take the small road leading to the houses out back, I rest my hand on Oaklynn’s thigh and smile at her. This is my life now and I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. I’m exactly where I’m meant to be and Oaklynn is the only woman I’d ever give all of myself to without hesitation.
The rest of the night, I do exactly as I planned. After putting our daughter to bed, I slowly peel Oaklynn’s dress off of her body and drape it over the chair that’s been brought into our bedroom. After stripping out of my clothes, I take her white lace bra and matching thong off before spreading her out in the middle of our bed. For the rest of the night, I spend hours giving my wife exactly what she needs while once again exploring her body as if it’s the first time all over again. We have sex in our bed, the shower, and then the tub before finally crashing into bed where I pull her into my arms and Oaklynn rests her head against my chest as sleep finally claims both of us while the sun starts to show.
