Chapter 17 #2

I turned the device sideways so the video was larger, then pressed play.

There was June and… I angled my head keeping up with what she was doing with a laundry basket.

Then the bits of clothing came off and I saw more of June than I ever had.

I hit pause and handed the cell back. “Oh my. Totally proud. Your boobs look amazing.”

“They really do. Wow,” Bridget added.

June grinned. “If mine are nice, yours are going to bring in so much money. I mean, they’re big and perky and–”

“I’ve seen them, thanks,” I said, laughing. And blushing. Over talk about my boobs.

“Find a white or pink undies set. No, wait. Got any with cherries?”

Bridget snorted.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Cherries?

June patted my shoulder. “I am. Sort of.”

“I can’t make that kind of money with clothes on. I mean, look at your body in that video.” I pointed at her cell. “You’re gorgeous. I can see why you make that kind of income, and doing laundry at the same time? You go, girl.”

“You’ll go on with me. I’ll introduce you to my viewers. Once you get followers, they keep coming back.”

“You could play a part,” Bridge offered. “A role, then… oh! You’ll read romance. Wait, make that erotica!”

They were getting way too into this. “What? Why?”

“Because then you don’t have to think of sexy things to say. Reading it aloud gives you all kinds of naughty options. There’s a never-ending supply of content.”

That was true.

“I have to read it out loud?” I asked, staring wide-eyed at my friend.

Bridge rolled her eyes. “Not to yourself.”

“Yes!” June added, getting into the idea. “We’ll find the sexiest parts of books and you’ll read them as you blush and talk about how the hero in the book’s dick wouldn’t be able to fit in your untried little pussy.”

I stared at her wide eyed. “You’ve got to be kidding.”

She set her hands on my shoulders, leaned down and got right in my face. “You had sex over the desk in the back office of a bar. With a stranger–”

Bridget laughed, then coughed. “Stranger? That was Silas. Oh my God.”

“–while someone walked in and got an eyeful.”

“Someone walked in?” Bridge gasped. “I didn’t know about that.”

I was really regretting sharing all that with June. “So?”

“So you have voyeur tendencies.”

“Um, what?”

“Um, what?” Bridget parroted.

“Someone could have come into the office at any time,” June reminded. “You knew that, and it got you hot. At least, I assume it did.”

“It did.” I started to think it was hot because I’d been with Silas. I felt safe with him. Uninhibited. Like the things that made me hot made him hot, too. While someone had seen us, Silas hadn’t cared. I hadn’t either.

“And you kept going. Someone actually did barge in, and you didn’t freak. You kept right at it.”

“God, I’m not going to be able to look him in the eye again for a while,” Bridget murmured.

In that back office, Silas had his mouth on my pussy.

I wouldn’t have stopped if the fire department stormed in because he had been so good.

He’d stopped mid-fuck to make sure I came by dropping to his knees and eating me out.

His bare ass had been to the door so whomever came in had to have seen it.

I wasn’t mentioning any of that to Bridget.

“So I have voyeuristic tendencies.” I shrugged.

“It’s perfect for being a cam girl,” June replied, completely unfazed by me having a kink.

“And that embarrassed look you have on your face right now is perfect. You’ll read something steamy and be mortified that it was actually possible.

Guys will be watching and want to fuck you so hard.

But you control it. You tease them. Lead them on.

Work them for their money and give them just a peek. ”

“Fine. Fine!” I said, wanting to get her to stop pushing this as much as I wanted to make money. I was in trouble here and well this was an option. “I’ll try it. Try. Clothes on. No laundry baskets.”

“Oh my God, this is so cool,” Bridget said. She wasn’t the one taking her clothes off on the Internet. She stopped and looked me in the eye. “But what about Silas? I don’t think your boyfriend will be too excited about this.”

“He’s not my anything.” I said that and it made me a little depressed. True, but I had hope he’d come back soon and follow through with the me-on-top plan. “We had sex twice. Most of the time he’s out of town.”

“But he did say he wanted to see you again when he’s back, right?” Bridget asked.

“Yes, he wants her to ride him like a cowgirl,” June added.

“There was no mention of exclusivity. I’m a hookup when he’s in town.” And I liked watching him through my bedroom window in the mornings. “He doesn’t live here.”

“Tell that to Lindy,” Bridget reminded. “Dex doesn’t live here and now they’re married.”

“He never mentioned marriage,” I clarified. Just because he filled my thoughts didn’t mean I expected forever.

“What if he did?”

“Marriage?” I questioned. “I barely know him.”

“Fine. What about dating? What about if he was here and you could date. Get to know each other. The whole thing. Do you like him?”

I thought about it. Not for long because I knew the answer. “Yes, I like him. But it doesn’t matter. He’s in Japan or Jamaica or wherever. Guys, this isn’t about Silas. I need money. You said this will be tame. I’ll read erotica and wear cardigans, nothing more.”

“Are you sure?” Bridget asked, suddenly doubtful after being so eager just a minute before.

“No, but it’s worth a try. I can always stop, right?”

“Tonight,” June prompted. “We’re doing it tonight. Eight o’clock.”

I was panicking. But the amount of money she mentioned? It was worth it. Except the time. “Eight? I’m in bed by eight.”

“You’re not in first grade. You can make it until nine. Besides, any longer and you’ll panic and back out. I’ll pick some good stories on my ereader. Come by and bring whatever you have that screams virgin librarian.”
