Chapter 35
SILAS
I stood in front of the machine in the cafe, waiting for my coffee to brew.
I didn’t really need it because I was wide awake at five a.m. The sun hadn’t come up yet and Eve was out cold in our room.
That was what five orgasms–or was it six?
–did to her. I felt a shit ton of male satisfaction that I could please her so well.
Fucking her into unconsciousness was now my new goal in life.
I’d picked up on the theme of the stories she read to me during the cam calls. A trend in her sexual interests. In what made her hot. She definitely liked being watched. Taken. Dominated.
I intended to fulfill every one of them.
But I still had to work and that meant starting the day with a daily update from Bradley.
“I told Hyport last night about the blizzard and that you’re most likely snowed in for a day or two. I think he finds it romantic,” he told me through the phone.
Mav’s weather report had been accurate. A shit ton of snow had fallen, and it was still coming down. That meant I wasn’t returning to San Francisco, and he’d have to continue to cover.
“I’m sure he watches that movie channel with all those holiday movies, being snowed in at a resort with a beautiful woman,” I replied.
“You just described yourself.”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Right. Except in the movie the assistant doesn’t call at five in the morning.”
“Romance movie or not, he’ll want you back here. When do you think the roads will be cleared for you to get out?”
“Not sure.” Didn’t care.
I wasn’t in a rush to work or do anything but take two coffees back upstairs and wake my woman the best way I knew how.
With my mouth on her pussy again.
Yeah, there was no decision. In bed with Eve or Hyport negotiations?
“Your agenda for today–”
“I’ll pull it up to review,” I said, cutting him off. “Who’s up first this morning? Berlin or New York?”
“Neither. Your schedule is clear.”
I didn’t understand. “Clear?” I took a sip of the black coffee. Fuck, it was good.
“Yes. I rescheduled everything and I’ll handle Hyport. Enjoy the coffee. And Eve.”
How he knew I was making coffee, I had no idea.
