Chapter 60

SILAS

Where the fuck was she going? It was freezing. Early. She was practically naked beneath my coat and there was snow. So much snow.

I shut the door and stared into the inky darkness for a moment, then ran to my room to throw clothes on and chase after her.

She hadn’t seemed upset. She wasn’t freaking out. She smiled. Then why would she leave? Where the hell did she go? Wait five minutes? No fucking way.

Before I could tug on boxers, my cell rang.

“Where the hell are you?” I asked, freaking out.

“Go to your back door.”

“What?” Had she lost her mind?

“Just do it.”

I kept my phone to my ear as I did as she wanted.

“There. That’s where I first saw you. Just like that.”

“What? Naked in my house?”

“Yes.”

“You were making coffee and talking to someone, just like you are now.”

I ran a hand over the back of my neck. “What the hell are you talking about?”

“Turn out the light.”

“Will it get you back here faster?”

“Yes.”

She was crazy. Completely crazy. I did as she said, swiping at the switch on the wall.

“Now look out the back door.”

“Eve, I love you, but I think you–”

And there she was. In the house behind me. Naked. I could only see half of her with the window only exposing her from the navel up, but it was her. I knew those gorgeous breasts anywhere.

“What the fuck?” I muttered. “What the hell are you doing in the neighbor’s house?”

“I’m your neighbor. This is my house. This is my bedroom window.”

I blinked, frozen in the doorway. Staring at my wife, who, it turned out, lived behind me.

“My alarm goes off at five. It never used to be exciting, such an early wake up, until my new naked neighbor moved in. Until every morning, he’d walk around making coffee and talking on the phone.”

Holy shit. I never really thought about anyone seeing me. My apartment in Denver was twenty floors up.

“You saw me?”

“You’re a billionaire but won’t pay for blinds. My win. I saw every inch. Although it’s too far away to see the mole on your ass. Let me check again.”

I smiled and flipped on the light switch. I could still see her and now she could see me as well. Naked. And hard. For her.

“You watched me,” I said.

“Just like you watched me in the cam room.”

“That’s why you looked so surprised when you first saw me at the bar.”

“Yeah. I recognized you, even in clothes.” She paused. “Silas, I’ve always wanted you, from the first time I laid eyes on you. When I didn’t know you as more than my new naked neighbor.”

“Fuck, kitten. I always wanted you, too.”

“Good. Never forget it’s your fault, this view I have right now, that made me want you for your dick.”

I glanced down at how fucking hard I was for her. I laughed, then laughed some more.

“Get your ass back over here, kitten, and you can have all the dick you want.”

“Always?”

“Always.”
