Chapter Ten

I’d sensed her fear from the moment she arrived. I wasn’t going to let Cassie out of the deal, but I wouldn’t push tonight. This was for her as much as it was for me. I could be patient. “How about a movie?” I shifted away from her tempting body.
Flipping through the channel directory, I found a romantic comedy. Not my usual taste, but maybe it would help Cassie relax. I settled against the pillows. She let out a sigh and arranged her pillows before lying against them.
I kept one eye on her and another on the movie. This woman was tying me up in knots, and damn if I didn’t like it. I’d always known she wouldn’t be a pushover, but her independence and need for control made me admire her more.
It was more than that too. I’d wanted women before, but never to the extent where I’d made a deal like this one. There was something beneath the surface of Cassie that called to me. Her sensuality shimmered right beneath her skin, if she’d only let it out.
My cock hadn’t softened since I’d opened the front door.
Every time I touched her, my blood sang with fascination of her soft skin, and my heart pounded with need.
Her sexuality needed to be coaxed out of her, and I was the man for the job.
Once it was freed, passion would take over. That was, if she would cooperate.
Cassie shifted, and I hid a smile as her gaze drifted over me.
I hadn’t bothered to pull the cover up, so my dick pushed against my boxers.
She wanted to pretend there was nothing between us other than sex, but she was wrong.
Lust was the beginning. I wanted more from her than sex—I wanted to know her and for her to know me.
Our connection was deeper than sex, and I’d show her the truth by the time our weekend ended.
She was mine.
