Chapter Sixteen

Whistling, Santino grabbed his briefcase and walked out of the courthouse, putting his sunglasses on as he merged with the crowd on the sidewalk.

Life was good. He’d presented his evidence and now he would return home to Orsen.

When had Orsen become home? Santino wasn’t sure, but he held that place now.

His concerns about their relationship had disappeared.

Almost. He still had a small nagging doubt that Orsen needed to go out and live life, but he knew that wasn’t what Orsen wanted.

His gorgeous man wanted a home. A place where he knew he was safe and loved, and Santino wanted to give him that.

Watching him bloom and experience life made Santino smile.

His responses were so innocent at times, his eyes wide with that beautiful smile on his face.

Santino could sit and watch him and be happy, but he also knew Orsen wanted more from their relationship.

Something more physical.

Santino wanted that too, but he also wanted to wait, to go at a slower pace. He wanted Orsen to experience everything first, but Santino also knew Orsen was gaining more confidence. The more he experienced, the more he grew as a man.

Moving past a couple screaming at each other, Santino turned down a side street, walking toward the parking lot where he’d parked his car. As he approached it, his phone rang. Seeing Mamma on the screen, Santino prepared himself.

“Santino! When are you going to come and see me? Have you forgotten about me?” Luna demanded.

“Mamma. I’ve been busy. I’ve just left court now and am about to go home.”

“Hmm. Come by so I can feed you up. You’re getting skinny.”

Santino grinned as he glanced down at his body. “I’m the same as always. I eat and work out, Mamma, and I eat cake.”

“Not my cake. And who you eating cake with?”

“His name’s Orsen. I want you to meet him.”

He heard Luna gasp. He had only introduced her to one partner, and that had been years ago. “My boy is serious about his man.”

“He’s special and I like him.”

“Bring him over. I can feed him up.”

Laughing, Santino opened his car and threw his briefcase on the passenger seat. “I made him your lasagne. He ate most of it and he loves the pollo alla cacciatore. He dropped the dough on the floor when we tried to make pizza.”

“But he loves Italian food. I like him already. You bring your man over soon, but not the dog.”

“Don’t be mean. Charlie loves your food.”

“Well, he’s a sensible dog then, but he isn’t coming.”

“He’s at TJ and Cody’s house. They dog sit for me.”

“More people I know nothing about.” Luna sighed dramatically, making Santino smile. “My baby surrounded by strangers.”

Starting the car, Santino said, “You should come over and meet them.”

“Maybe I will.”

“Look, Mamma, I need to go. I have a long drive ahead of me.”

“My baby is living so far away. It breaks my heart I don’t see you more often.”

Rolling his eyes and grateful Luna wasn’t around to see it, Santino said, “Jeez, Mamma. I’m only a couple of hours down the road, not in another state.”

“Don’t you take that tone with me, Santino Conti.”

“Yes, Mamma.” He grinned because he knew she couldn’t see it. If she had been standing in front of him, he’d have made sure to look sorry. “I love you, Mamma. I’ll call you when I get home.”

“You do that and—”

“Love you, Mamma.” Santino hung up before she continued, bracing himself for her call later. Right now, however, he wanted to get on the road so he could miss most of the traffic. As it was, it would take him close to two hours to drive home, and he wanted to see Orsen. He’d missed him.

Nearly four hours later, Santino pulled up outside Crompton’s house and got out, stretching his arms over his head. Groaning, he bent over, stretching his back, feeling it protest.

“Orsen was expecting you earlier.”

“Got stuck behind an accident.” Santino walked over to Crompton, who handed him a glass of sweet tea. Sipping it, he sighed and thanked him. “At least I’m not needed for a couple of weeks. I can work from home.”

“He’s in the barn feeding Billy. Damn horse follows Orsen around now.” Shaking his head, he went back inside, and Santino walked over to the barn, sipping his tea. Cold and sweet and perfect, and just what he needed.

Inside the barn, he found Orsen feeding one of the horses and put his glass on one of the shelves.

“Hey.”

Orsen’s face lit up, a huge smile on his face. “When did you get here?”

“Just now. Sorry I’m late. I got stuck behind an accident.”

“So you need to go home and shower. You need someone to help you in the shower.”

“I might.” Grinning, Santino kissed Orsen when he pursed his lips. “How did the school visit go?”

Orsen’s eyes lit up. “Much better. I’ll start next week. Dale showed me around, too, so I’ll know where everything is. He said he’d meet me outside before school starts.”

“That’s good. How do you feel about going back?”

“Nervous, but better. At least I know some other students.” Orsen gave him a quick peck. “Let me give Billy the rest of this apple, then I’ll grab my bag, and we can go.”

Santino strolled after Orsen, hands in his trouser pockets, watching Orsen feed the last few pieces to Billy.

Once he was finished, he bounced over to Santino, threw his arms over Santino’s shoulders and kissed him again, his tongue touching Santino’s as he rubbed against him.

“I want to touch you tonight. I want to kiss you and lick you there. Will you tell me what you like so I can make you feel as good as you make me? I want to please you, and don’t say I don’t have to.

We’re together now, so making you happy is important to me. ”

“Okay, but after my shower. I’m sweaty and smelly, and I need a shower to wash the grime away. I’d love nothing more than you joining me, so grab your bag and we can get gone.”

Orsen kissed him again, then grinned and ran off to Crompton’s. Picking up the glass, Santino followed at a more leisurely pace, hopping onto the porch as Crompton walked outside. “Thanks for the tea. I needed it.”

Crompton nodded. “You treat him right. He’s always happy after spending time with you. I’ll tell you this, though. You hurt that boy and there is no place you can hide that I won’t find you. He’s gone through enough.”

“Noted, but I have no intentions of hurting him. We might argue occasionally, but I’d never deliberately hurt him.”

Crompton stared at him through narrowed eyes, then nodded once. “Good. I’d hate to have to hurt you.”

“Ready?” Orsen burst through the door and then waved at Crompton. “I’ll see you tomorrow!”

Santino nodded to Crompton, then followed Orsen to his car, smiling when Orsen got inside. He climbed in, started the car, then drove home. “What have you been up to this week other than your school visit?”

“I tore the house down.”

Santino slowed in surprise. “You never said anything.”

“I know. I needed to do this myself. I hope you understand. I had them come out to demolish it , and I watched. It didn’t take long.

I thought it would take days, but it didn’t.

I stood in the spot where it had been and felt nothing.

I thought I’d feel something, but there was nothing at all.

” Orsen paused, tilted his head. “No, maybe a little sad, but I can build a home and make happy memories there.”

“You can. You have your whole future ahead of you.” Santino glanced at Orsen. “Do you have any idea what you want?”

“A two-story house like TJ’s and Cody’s, with a basement.” He shrugged, looked out of the window. “Not much.” He flashed Santino a grin. “And you.”

“I’m glad I’m part of the list.” He pulled into his driveway and sighed. “God, I’m tired.”

“It’s a shame you don’t have a bath. Oh, I called Cody and asked him to keep Charlie tonight. He laughed.”

“Thanks. I meant to call to ask him.” Grabbing his bags, he locked the car, then opened the front door, and as soon as he shut it, Orsen jumped him. “Missed you.” Orsen kissed him, his tongue in Santino’s mouth, his hands moving over Santino’s body. “Shower then sex. I want to touch you all over.”

“Calm down, horndog.”

Orsen blinked. “Horndog? I don’t think so. Well, only with you. I only want you.”

“That’s good because I only want you, too.” Taking Orsen’s hand, Santino walked into his bathroom, turned the shower on, then stripped. Orsen’s hands were all over his body, as were his lips and tongue, and Santino groaned, his dick hard and desperate for Orsen’s touch.

Maneuvering them under the water, Santino kissed Orsen, moaning, his hands pulling Orsen against his body, feeling Orsen’s hard cock. Stroking it, he swallowed Orsen’s gasp, then Orsen nipped at his lips before moving behind him.

“Hands on the wall, Santino. I want to lick you.”

“Let me clean first. I’m sweaty.”

“Hurry. I’ve been waiting all week.”

Santino cleaned up, feeling Orsen’s hot gaze on his body, his hands touching him, and when he muttered, “I’m clean,” he was facing the wall, groaning when Orsen’s fingers ran over his hole. “Fuck, Orsen.”

“Soon, but first…” Orsen’s tongue touched him, and Santino shuddered.

Soft, tentative, barely there touches, but those touches knocked the breath from Santino’s lungs.

After a minute or so, Orsen became braver, more certain, his tongue licking and flicking over his hole.

Santino kept praising Orsen, telling him how good it felt, how hard he was.

When the tip of Orsen’s tongue slid in, Santino shook, groaning.

“Fuck, Orsen.” More of Orsen’s tongue pushed inside, and it wasn’t long before Orsen was sliding in and out, making Santino moan and whimper.

When he pulled back and rose to his feet, Santino turned.

Orsen wrapped a hand around Santino’s cock and began stroking it. “I want to see you come.”

Santino shuddered, groaned, then arched back as he came.

Orsen kept stroking until Santino gently moved his hand away.

He caressed Orsen’s dick, his hand sliding over it before he pumped Orsen’s hard flesh.

Orsen whimpered, rested his head on Santino’s shoulder, then he bit him, his body jerking as he came.

Santino released him, then pulled him close, sliding his hands over Orsen’s back, kissing the side of his face. Orsen lifted his head and smiled. “I love you.” Opening his mouth to respond, Orsen put his finger on his lips. “Don’t. I know how I feel. Just accept it.”

Arching an eyebrow, Santino kissed him. “That’s a huge statement, Orsen.”

“It is what it is.” Orsen kissed him, then got out of the shower. Grabbing a towel, he wrapped it around his waist. “Hungry?”

“I don’t have anything. I emptied the fridge.”

“I know. I have something in my bag.” Orsen smiled and then left the bathroom.

Santino stared at the spot he’d been standing in and rubbed his chest. That little niggle at the back of his mind was becoming louder, but Santino ignored it.

Orsen wasn’t like any of his previous partners.

He wouldn’t say something like ‘I love you’ so he could use Santino.

He couldn’t think of even one similarity to the ex-boyfriend who had said all the right things while trying to empty Santino’s bank account.

No, Orsen didn’t work that way.

Nodding, Santino finished his shower, then grabbed a spare towel and dried off.

Throwing it in the hamper, he strode into the bedroom, slowing when he saw a naked Orsen in the middle of his bed with a soda, a beer, and two bowls of macaroni and cheese.

“I made it earlier and heated it up while you finished in the shower.”

Sitting next to him on the bed, Santino stroked his cheek. “Thank you for thinking about me.”

Blushing, Orsen leaned into Santino’s touch. “I like taking care of you.”

“Good, because I like taking care of you too, and when we’ve finished eating, I’m going to take care of you again.”

Orsen stared wide-eyed, then grinned. “We should eat up then because your tongue has an appointment with my butt.”

Santino burst out laughing, pulling Orsen close and kissing his cheek. “I like that type of appointment.”
