35. Chapter 34
Ria
Warmth encases me, and I sigh as I push farther back into the heat at my back.
I hum a satisfied moan as the hands holding me knead the soft flesh of my hips, thumbs drifting and caressing, sparking desire within my core.
Pressing my ass into the warm body behind me, I chase the need building and groan when I grind against the hardening length growing against my ass.
One hand travels from my hip underneath the loose fabric of my camisole, teasing the underside of my breast. My nipples pebble at the touch, and a soft moan tumbles from my lip.
“Ria.” Leo’s hot breath tickles the skin by my ear as he gasps, but his tone is distant.
My eyes spring open, realizing I’m not dreaming but am spooned by Leo’s huge body.
I twist slowly and see that his eyes are still closed, and his mouth is slightly agape as a soft snore slips from his lips.
As if on autopilot, his hand continues to travel achingly slowly until he’s cupping my bare breast and brushing the pad of his thumb across my peaked nipple.
Closing my eyes, I try to ignore the way my body wants to cry out from his gentle touch and what it is doing to my insides, but my body reacts on instinct and I press my ass harder into his bulge.
He rewards me with a thrust of his hips.
My clit throbs with every swipe of his thumb against my sensitive nipple.
A guttural groan falls from his lips and rumbles through my body. “Fuck.” Bringing my hand to my mouth to muffle the sound, my moan escapes me. Grinding faster, my hips chase the high that I know after last night he can give me.
“Fuck, Ria.” Another sleepy groan tumbles from his lips and sends shivers straight to my core.
My eyes close in ecstasy as he squeezes my breast, and the friction of his cotton boxers against the thin silk of my sleep shorts sends ripples of hot pleasure through my entire body.
My hand falls from my mouth and grabs on to the hand at my hip.
The movement has Leo’s hips pausing. “Shit, Ria. I’m…
fuck, sorry,” he stutters, releasing his grip, but I hold firm.
“Don’t you dare.” Twisting over my shoulder, I turn to look at him. His hair is tousled and his eyes are hooded with both sleep and desire. “Please, Leo.”
“Fuck.” His head falls to the crook of my neck and he kisses me gently, before his hips start to rock again.
Sparks ignite through my body as he regains his possessive hold on me, tweaking and playing with my pebbled nipples while his other hand squeezes my hip so tight I know I'll have an imprint of his fingers.
The thought has wetness pooling in my core.
The constant friction intensifies the pressure burning inside.
Slipping my fingers underneath the waistband of my loose satin shorts, I swipe the tip of my finger over the aching bud.
“Oh, God.” Circling my clit, my body begins to tremble. His thrusts quicken behind me and he growls when his hand trails from my hip to settle on my forearm.
“That’s it, baby, take what you need.” Trembling and shaking with every thrust of his cock and every circle of my finger, I give in again.
The pleasure only heightens when his teeth sink into the flesh at my shoulder as he shudders behind me, and my orgasm floods through me.
Sucking the spot, his thrusts slow and his breaths become labored as he continues to kiss and soothe my marred skin.
“Good morning.” I huff out a laugh and he snickers behind me.
“I haven’t come in my pants since I was sixteen, Ri Ri.”
“And you want me to be sorry for that?” I twist so I can take in his flushed face.
Brushing my hair off my face, he gives me a warm smile. “I think it was you that did it then too.”
“Huh?” I frown.
“Shit.” He scrunches his eyes closed and rolls onto his back.
“I have never rubbed my ass against your cock before.” Resting my head on my hand, I take him in. All his beautiful, chiseled chest on display for me to ogle as he keeps his eyes firmly closed.
“Don’t say cock, Ri Ri.”
“Why?”
“Why?” He peeks up at me with narrowed eyes and climbs out of the bed.
“Where are you going?” I giggle.
“I’ve something I need to take care of.” He shuffles toward the bathroom and closes the door.
Throwing the covers off me, I follow him but pause when I hear the shower switch on.
Last night when I walked in on him, I had no idea he would be naked, and I froze when I saw him, cock in hand, because fuck, it was so hot.
Seeing what touching me had done to him, I was so turned on I couldn’t stop my legs from moving toward him if I tried.
But knowing he will be naked now, I’m torn.
What’s happening here?
“Leo?” I knock on the door. “Are you okay?”
“Fine, Ri Ri,” he shouts through the door.
“You don’t sound fine.”
“Just give me five minutes.”
“Okay.” Reluctantly, I back away and start to pull out my clothes for the day, laying it all out on the bed.
Checking my hair in the mirror, I smile at the pink tinge in my cheeks that I touch gingerly with the tips of my fingers before dragging them through my messy hair and pulling it up into a lopsided bun on top of my head.
“Whoever the designer is of that nightwear, they are a genius and a magician.”
“I’m sorry?” I look at Leo through the glass of the mirror.
His hair is damp and swept off his chiseled face, showcasing his steel-gray eyes that are fixed on me.
I’ll be sending Grace a thank you for packing this particular outfit.
When I pulled it out last night, I groaned knowing she’s playing matchmaker, but seeing how his eyes darkened when he saw me standing in the doorway of the bathroom, I knew it was the right choice.
“You look so sexy in that it’s fucking hard to look at you.” His hands clench at his sides, and I enjoy the view of him shirtless and wearing gray sweatpants. The male version of my outfit.
“Thank you.” I lick my lips before I turn to face him, and he sucks in a breath. “But you didn’t explain when I made you come in your pants before.” I raise an eyebrow and he tips his head up to the ceiling, groaning.
“Why is my post-orgasm state always to be fucking truthful?”
“Good to know that’s how I can get an honest answer out of you.” I smirk at him.
“Funny, Ri Ri.”
“So…” I motion for him to keep going.
“I can’t make you forget I said that?”
“Nope.” I cross my arms across my chest, and his eyes drop to my breasts before he quickly checks himself.
“Jesus Christ. I can’t believe I’m telling you this.” He pauses, gathering his thoughts. “Remember your graduation party?”
“Yes?” I frown.
“You were wearing that short red dress with thin straps. It was stuck to you like a second skin, and you had these fucking shoes that made your legs look impossibly long.” He takes a breath as he rakes his hand through his hair.
My mind races, shocked that he can remember what I was wearing over ten years ago.
“Your hair was in long curls down your back, and all evening you were glowing, smiling, just free, and I remember thinking ‘Ria never looks like that.’ You’re always so focused and in control, and I watched you dancing, letting loose, and you just looked beautiful.
” My mouth gapes as I listen, and I drop my hands to my side, and his eyes meet mine with a vulnerability I don’t think I’ve ever seen on him before.
“You spotted me and dragged me to the dance floor to dance to Kevin Lytle’s ‘Turn Me On.’ Of course I followed because I think we both know I’ll do pretty much anything you ask me to do.
” He huffs out a laugh, shaking his head.
“And well, you were grinding against me. I don’t think you were doing it on purpose, but it was so hot and well, sixteen-year-old me had to disappear after you looked over your shoulder and gave me a seductive grin, wild blue eyes alight with pure happiness.
I think you can gather why.” This time he does let out a huge laugh.
“Because none of that is embarrassing.” Turning and giving me his back, he leaves me utterly stunned.
“Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Brent,” Cole greets us as we walk into the breakfast room, and my heart flips at the way he calls me Mrs. Brent, especially when Leo pulls me even closer into his chest and kisses the top of my head.
“Good morning.” Leo takes the lead.
“Did you both enjoy last night?”
“Yes, it was a beautiful evening. Thank you,” I say.
“And the suite was to your liking?”
Leo looks down at me, smiling, and my cheeks flush. “Perfect.”
“Excellent.” Cole beams. “Well, enjoy the rest of the day. I’ll be in touch. If you need anything, let Emily know on reception and she will make it happen.” With that, he gives us a clipped nod before he disappears.
“Come on, let’s get you your breakfast.” Guiding me through the breakfast room, he doesn’t stop us until we reach the large patio doors that he walks us through, and my steps falter as I see the intricate white iron bistro table tucked underneath a large willow tree.
Edging closer, I bring my hands to my mouth as I see what is on the table.
“Leo,” I whisper, gazing up at him, and he kisses my forehead. “When?”
“I told you. I can’t tell you all my secrets.”
The table and the grass around it is covered in tulip petals of all colors with a huge bouquet of blue tulips in a stunning glass vase in the center.
He pulls out my chair, and I sink into it, taking in all the tiny details.
There is a bone china teapot next to the vase with a tiny pot of sugar alongside it.
A silver teaspoon sticks out of the top, glistening in the early morning sun.
The teacups are white with a tiny delicate navy pattern decorating the edges, and a copy of The New York Times rests next to it.
“Leo, this is perfect.” He gazes across the table at me, and I reach out for his hand that he quickly grasps, squeezing tightly.
“I know this is how you like to spend your Sunday mornings.” He’s right, but I didn’t think it would have been something he’d noticed.
I used to do the crossword puzzle with my dad and Grandad Stone until he passed, and it is something that keeps me close to him.
“You always look so peaceful doing this, and I feel I’ve brought more mayhem than peace to you lately. ”
“Thank you.” Brushing my thumb across his knuckles, I give him a grateful smile.
“You’re welcome.”
“But you’re wrong, you know?”
Releasing my hand, he begins to pour our cups of tea, and his lips tilt up in a teasing smile. “Oh? I thought I was right a lot of the time these days.”
“Not this time.” His eyes lock on mine. “I think I’m the one bringing the mayhem and you’re the peace.”
