Chapter 27 Revealtions
"Venus wake up, "A very familiar voice yelled while slightly nudging my hand.
I awoke with sweat dripping down every ounce of my body.
I quickly peeled my eyes open to find Luca staring at me with concern in his eyes but that was the last thing on my mind. I quickly adjusted my gaze to my stomach to find my baby bump was still there.
I sighed in relief.
My baby was ok.
She was alive.
I brought my hand to touch my bump and revived a kick from my little angel.
"Darling Mommy loves you with all her heart, "I whispered to her as she continued to kick.
"Are you okay?"Luca questioned. " because you kept screaming I'm sorry." I nodded my head as I stood up.
"Where are you going?"He asked blankly.
"I need to see Antonio, "I replied, taking out the IV from my arm.
His jaw clenched as he stood up."How are you going to go see the man who killed your brother?"He gritted on his teeth as if he held hatred for Antonio.
That's not possible.
Was it?
"Christopher's not dead," I spat back looking at him as if he grew two heads.
"What?"He asked as his eyes widened and his hands balled up to fists. " How but... bbbbbut I thought-"
"Well you thought wrong,"I yelled, while glaring at him.
"Venus, at least wait until the doctor gets here." I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"I need to stand by Antonio."I replied while grabbing my clothes from the closet and walking into the bathroom.
"How do you know for sure Antonio didn't attempt to kill your brother,"He spoke with venom lacing very word he spoke.
I quickly changed into my clothes without paying much attention to my appearance and then walked to the closet to grab my purse.
"So what are you going to ignore me,now?"He asked, his tone getting slightly more aggressive. as I made my way to the door I could here his foot steps behind me but I was determined to get the he'll out of there. "Are you going to answer me."He yelled as he grabbed my arm and forced me to face him.
"What do you want me to say?"I yelled back pulling my arm away from him."How it's pathetic that you believe your brother, the one you were raised with, your own flesh and blood would kill someone and not just anyone but my brother."I replied and then left without waiting for his reaction.
After many nerve wrecking hours of waiting for someone to come out and give me some type of news about Chris, a mid aged male doctor came out from the double doors.
I rushed toward him without giving any thought."How is he?"I asked, while fiddling with me fingers.
It was a nervous habit that I never got over as a child.
He sighed."Mr.Angelopolis received two bullets dangerously close to the heart which caused him to bleed excessively luckily we had enough of his blood type in our blood bank in order to keep him alive."He took a deep breathe before beginning to speak again, a smile making its way on his lips."We did multiple CT scans and they all came back clear. There isn't any brain, nerve, or artery damage. It is truly a miracle he was brought here in time because if he wasn't those two bullets could have caused some series damage to the heart or possibly nerves. For the next twenty four hours we will be watching him to make sure he is in the clear."
I sighed a smile forming on my lips."May I see-"
My question was cut short by the ringing of my phone. I quickly dug through my bag to find the phone but just when I was about to decline my eyes widened at the name of the intruder.
"I'm sorry but I have to take this,"I sincerely said to the Doctor and then swiped to answer.
"What do you want Luca?"I asked venom lacing my words.
"I really am not fond of you either Gin but I just wanted to let you know Venus has left the hospital."He said ever so calmly.
"What? What do you mean she left the hospital? How the fuck-"Before I could finish my interrogation the line was cut off.
That bastard closed the phone in my face.
Oh,I'll show him.
"I'm sorry Doctor but I'm gonna go try to catch my friend before she leaves."Without hearing his reply I ran the opposite direction towards the maternity ward.
When I finally reached her room I quickly peeked inside only to find it empty.
"Damn it Venus!"I cursed under my breathe and then ran to the stair case. I made it down three flights before I heard Lucas voice.
Ohhhh oh oh he is definitely going to get cursed out.
"Come on Ronaldo you know your the only one for the job."He laughed like the wicked witch of the west.

"I need you to wipe out Antonio. As long as he's living Venus will never be mine."My eyes widened as I quickly placed my hand over my mouth to stop myself from gasping."I was wrong to think I can simply frame him for her brother's death."
