Chapter 38 Skye
SKYE
I stood in front of the open balcony door, the night air brushing over my skin.
When the key turned in the lock, my heart jumped. Ocean walked in, his clean, addictive scent filling the air.
“Hey, you,” he whispered.
“Hey,” I replied, voice soft, trying not to show how much relief had flooded me the second I saw him.
He dropped his keys in the bowl by the door and came over, wrapping his arms around me. “You good?”
“Yeah. What about you?”
“I’m cool.”
“You sure? You seem...a little off, and rightfully so. I know it had to be scary finding out something was wrong with Ol’ School.”
“Yeah, it was. But that quickly got replaced with some other shit when I got there and found his son there.”
I frowned slightly. “His son? What was he—”
“My thoughts exactly.”
“How did he even know something had happened? Did Ol’ School call him?”
“No. Apparently, he had his number in the emergency contact section in his phone. When the paramedics arrived, they called him.”
“Oh.” I nodded. “Well, please tell me you two didn’t come to blows in that man’s living room.”
“Nah, but we came damn close. I kept my cool. I just made sure he knows not to bring his ass around no more.”
“And how did he take that?”
“Like the bitch that he is.” Ocean kissed my forehead, forcing a grin to spread across my face.
Trying to make things lighter, I changed the subject. “You know, I was thinking...we need to get away. Just for a couple of days.”
He gave me a slow, assessing look. “I know the perfect place.”
I raised my eyebrows. “Oh really? Where?”
He pulled out his phone, tapping on the screen quickly. “Shade’s cabin. It’s two hours outside of the city.”
“I didn’t know he had a cabin. Y’all just have cribs everywhere, huh?”
Ocean shrugged. “We like having a change in scenery.”
“I can tell.” I giggled.
“Alright, it’s all set. He said we could have it for a as long as we needed it. No interruptions. Full privacy. He’s going to make sure it’s ready for us.”
My heart fluttered. A cabin sounded perfect. Cozy, tucked away, and completely secluded.
Within the hour, Ocean and I were on the road. The anticipation between us was intense. We didn’t talk much, just the occasional laugh or comment about how beautiful the night looked.
When we finally arrived, the cabin was everything I had imagined.
Warm lights glowed through the windows, smoke curled lazily from the chimney, and the soft sound of a crackling fireplace greeted us as we stepped inside.
Staff were already there with steaming mugs of hot chocolate, and the smell of cinnamon and pine wrapped around me like a hug.
“This is…wow,” I breathed, taking it all in.
Ocean grinned at me, his eyes roaming over me in a way that made my pulse pick up. “Go get changed,” he said. “Meet me upstairs in the indoor jacuzzi. It’s heated.”
I laughed, heart racing. “You mean…now?”
“Now,” he said, and the gleam in his eyes made it very clear he wasn’t joking.
I made my way upstairs, passing the bedrooms along the way.
Each one was more beautiful than the last. Exposed wooden beams, soft lighting, plush bedding.
I made a mental note to come back and explore later, but right now, my priority was the jacuzzi.
I quickly changed into my bathing suit, the fabric hugging me in all the right places, and let out a quiet sigh as I adjusted it.
When I returned to the jacuzzi, Ocean was already there, sitting comfortably inside.
He looked up as I approached, and my breath caught. The firelight danced across his skin, highlighting the strength in his arms and chest.
“You look…damn good,” he said, grabbing my hand.
As soon as I was sitting close to him, he leaned in to kiss me, hands roaming with that familiar confident touch. The water swirled around us, steam curling into the air as the tension between us snapped into a new level of heat.
I kissed him back, and the rest of the world fell away. The water pressed against us, warm and slick, the intimacy of the moment making everything feel suspended in time. Every touch, every kiss was electric, and I felt myself melting into him completely.
He whispered my name, low and deep, as his hands explored, his touch both possessive and tender. The sound of the water mingled with our whispers, the heat of the room and the warmth of his body making it impossible to think about anything else.
“Skye,” he said between kisses. “You have no idea how good you look right now.”
I smiled against his lips. “I think you have a pretty good view yourself,” I teased, but my words were half-lost in the next kiss.
I stood up and made my way onto his lap, each of my legs finding their way comfortably beside him. Then, I reached beneath the water and slipped his dick from his swim trunks.
His eyes melted deeper into mine as he slid my panties to the side and eased me down on his length.
My movement was slow and deliberate, letting my body rise and fall on him so he could feel every bit of my insides closing in around him.
The way I was wild over this man made no sense.
But I loved the feeling. It didn’t feel unsafe or unreciprocated. It felt beautiful.
He pressed his fingers into my hips, guiding me to feed him my pussy just the way he wanted it, and the world outside the cabin ceased to exist.
The glow from the jacuzzi lights danced across our skin. Our movements synchronized, intimate and fluid, every touch, every kiss heightening the intensity.
I couldn’t even begin to measure time. Minutes or hours...it didn’t matter. All that existed was him and me, the warm water, the heat between us, the feeling of being completely known and desired.
And when we came, it was like the stars had aligned and everything around us exploded. It wasn’t wild or crazy. It was soft, heated passion and it flooded between us, filling us up until we were full.
When we finally paused, breathless and tangled, Ocean held me close, his forehead against mine. “Damn, Skye. You’re…everything.”
I rested my hand on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath my palm. “You too,” I whispered, voice trembling from the rush of emotion and heat. “Everything feels so right with you.”
He smiled, pulling me into a tender kiss. “I’m not letting go of you. Not now, not ever.”
I shivered from the weight of his words. I had never felt more seen, more protected, more alive. And in that moment, I knew that no matter what storms were waiting outside...inside this cabin, in this water, in this moment...we were untouchable.
We stayed like that for a long while, wrapped around each other, letting the heat of the water and the fire wash over us, every whispered word and soft touch deepening what was already unbreakable between us.
Later, when Ocean finally leaned back against the edge of the jacuzzi, eyes half-lidded, I rested my head on his shoulder, letting the water swirl gently around us. “I could get used to this,” I whispered.
He chuckled, brushing a damp strand of hair from my face. “Good. Because this is just the start.”
