Epilogue
I’d like to say our remaining time at Ouroboros Academy was less eventful, but it really wasn’t. We all graduated with our heads still attached and lifelong friendships. Iman, Morgana, and Saffron were the best friends a girl could have by the end of it.
Scorpia did find out who took the bones out of Fairy and Adrian was able to burn them, even if he had issues with his phoenix for a while because of how he first shifted.
Fairy recovered once the Forsaken One’s life cycle ended.
Some of the fairies were able to go back.
We even got to go as special guests. The gateways were open again for anyone who wanted to travel.
Liam’s father went down for the murder of Blue Matthews, since he was so high profile.
I called my mother when he died and told her I knew he wasn’t my father.
It wasn’t perfect, but we had a better relationship than we did growing up.
She inherited all his money and was actually doing good things with it.
Khalid and Lucian’s families were wonderful. I don’t think they quite understood our relationship until Khalid and Lucian explained what they were to their parents. Khalid’s parents were so proud. Lucian’s parents understood why it was a secret and promised to never use him for anything.
We couldn’t legally be married in the human community, but in the supernatural one, it was fine. Headmaster Mykene hand fasted us with most of our families present, so we were married in the eyes of the supernatural community.
Now that we were graduated and out in the world, we planned to do a lot of good with our trust funds. Khalid was digging into history, Lucian was developing tech and software for disadvantaged communities, and Liam was making music and healing nature.
As for me? I was getting involved in my own way if anyone thought they might want to start a war.
They might start them, but I was going to end them.
