Chapter 7

Pike

Taste her? No, I wanted to devour her. I wanted to keep going. I wanted her cum on my tongue. I wanted to taste every fucking inch of her and then some. But I didn’t. I stopped myself. She stole from me. She stole my wallet, but I don’t know where the hell she put it.

I kept an eye on her the rest of the night she was there. She laughed, she drank a little and she seemed to have a good time. Then she left.

And now not only me, but others are missing their wallets too.

“How the hell did this happen?” Free asks as he looks around the room.

“Fuck if I know. She must be good,” Mask answers as he laughs a little. I don’t think this is that funny, but he seems to think it is. One little girl could get past all of us and steal our shit. She has skills, that’s for sure.

“This is fucked up,” Van adds.

“No shit. She hit over twenty of us in one night, and we all fell for it,” I tell them. The guys grunt as I run my hand through my hair, trying to figure this out. I can’t believe she did this alone. I didn’t see her around anyone else or leave with anyone else for that matter. It makes no sense.

“Well, we know where she works,” Van declares as he crosses his arms over his chest.

“This is true. We could always show up there,” I suggest.

“At her job?” Mask asks like it’s the worst idea we’ve ever had.

“Yeah, at her job. What the fuck, Mask?”

“You can’t just show up at her job, brother.”

“Why not?”

“She’ll get fired,” he says.

“She took our shit, brother. You don’t think that warrants a visit?”

“You can make a house call.”

“You want me to find out where she lives?”

“Where do you think she’s storin’ that shit?” he asks. That does make sense. She would have it all at her place. I suppose making a house call wouldn’t be so bad.

“I’ll do it,” I volunteer.

“You up for that?”

“She can’t do shit to me.”

“She could hurt you. You’re still healin’ up, Pike.”

“You think I’d let some little girl like Jailbait hurt me?” I ask him. Mask chuckles and shrugs his shoulders. Asshole.

“Don’t know, brother. She might get the best of you.”

“No, the fuck she wouldn’t. I can handle her.”

“Can you?” he asks. I nod my head.

“Yeah, I can.”

“Fine. Then you find her. Find out where she lives and make yourself at home until you find our shit.” I nod my head before I walk away and head toward the office. I know I can hack into the files at her work and find the address for her. What I don’t know is if she lives alone. I guess that will be another surprise for later.

I sit at the desk and open the tab before I start typing. I’m in her information in minutes and find out what I want. I jot the address down on a sheet of paper before folding it up and stuffing it in my pocket. Then I stand and head out of the room.

“You didn’t find it already,” Mask says.

“I have a special set of skills, brother. I told you I’d find her.”

“You like her,” Van chimes in. I flip him off and walk to the bar, grabbing a beer before taking it down.

“Doesn’t matter. She’s a thief. One I plan on handlin’ too.”

“You gonna lose your shit on that poor girl?” Van asks.

“That poor girl? She stole from about twenty of us, Van. Poor girl, my ass.”

“She’s just a nurse,” he adds.

“No shit. A nurse who probably just walked off with at least ten thousand dollars.”

“You carry that much on you?”

“A couple thousand, yeah. You never know when you might need to pay someone off,” I remind him. He nods his head before glancing around at the others.

“You guys, too?”

“Yeah.”

“Well, she just made a haul,” he tells us.

“I’m gonna get it all back, too. Might even take a little interest out of her ass.”

“Or you might take her ass. I know how you were lookin’ at that girl in the hospital,” Mask reminds me. They don’t know about our time in my room. I left that part out on purpose.

“Lookin’ at her like what?”

“Like you wanted to sink your cock in her.”

“Why were you lookin’ at me that closely?” I ask him, raising an eyebrow.

“You’re a sick fuck, Pike. No one was lookin’ at you like that. We all have eyes, though.”

“And that means what?”

“I don’t think you’re gonna get shit back,” he states with a smirk.

“Like hell, I’m not. I bet you that I come back with all of our shit,” I tell him. I have no doubt she took it all. The question is how she did it. That’s one thing I don’t know, but just like everything else, I will find out.

“I bet you come back after fuckin’ her.”

“What’s the difference in how I get our shit back?” The guys burst into laughter and yell as they point their fingers at me.

“I knew it. I knew you wanted to fuck her.”

“Never claimed I didn’t, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna do it,” I remind them. The guys keep laughing as I shake my head. They don’t know what I would do.

“You know you’re gonna do it. You want me to send someone else?” Mask asks me. My hands ball at my sides at the thought of anyone else getting near her. That’s not an option.

“Fuck no. I said I got this.” He nods his head and slaps a hand on my shoulder.

“If she outsmarts you this time, I’m sendin’ someone else in there.”

“Come on, Mask. Have a little faith in me.”

“I have faith in you, Pike. I have faith you’re gonna fuck that girl senseless.”

“And that’s a problem?”

“Not if you get our shit back,” he tells me. I nod my head. I’ll get our shit back one way or another.

“I said I got this,” I remind them once more. I can handle Feather. There is no doubt about that.

“What if she lives with her man?”

“Why wasn’t he with her?” I ask.

“I don’t know. Maybe he was, and we didn’t notice.”

“Why would he let her do that shit? Fuck some random guys for a wallet?” I ask, shaking my head. My girl, if I had one, would never fuck another man for anything. I would snap his goddamn neck and then hers.

“I don’t know, brother. Just thinkin’ out loud. A girl like her shouldn’t be single.”

“What’s that mean a girl like her?” I ask Van.

“She’s cute. Young. No reason to be single.”

“That doesn’t make any sense, Van.”

“Sure it does. How many girls look like her and are single?”

“A lot. She works, remember? Maybe she works a lot. You don’t know,” I remind him.

“Or maybe your cock is just hopin’ she works a lot.” I should punch him in the face. I’ve thought about it.

“Well, we’re gonna find out soon, aren’t we?”

“How soon?”

“I’ll go by there tomorrow. Tonight I’m finishin’ my goddamn beer and tryin’ to figure out how the hell she did this shit without us noticin’.”

“She had to have help.”

“You would think so,” I add.

“I’ll look at the cameras again,” Free offers before walking away. I turn to Mask and sigh.

“You think we dropped the ball on this one?”

“I don’t see why a girl like her would need to steal shit, Pike. She has a good job.”

“Maybe she owes someone money.”

“It’s possible.”

“You still want me to go in?” I ask him. In a way, I’d like him to say no, but on the other hand, I get to get up close and personal with Feather again. That’s enough for me to want him to say yes.

“Yeah. See what you can find out. It isn’t just about the wallets, yeah?” I nod my head. He’s right.
