57. Reed #2
“Fuck, I love seeing you fall apart for me.” He kisses me again, taking over stroking me, until he has pulled every last drop of cum from my cock.
“And I love you even more.” The words are gritted through his teeth, as his own release finds him, ropes of cum flooding inside of me until he lets me collapse back against him.
We’re both panting heavily, a sense of permanence cocooning us here in this room. We know what this is, what we are, and there is no going back, no hiding. There is just me and him, and whatever step we choose to take next.
“Remind me to always follow you when you ask me to go somewhere,” he laughs, stroking my hair back and kissing me again.
“I mean, I followed you around the world for four months, so you’ve got a lot of catching up to do,” I reply teasingly, but Wilder pulls me until my head drops down to his.
“I’ll follow you fucking anywhere, Blue.”
For the next two weeks Wilder barely leaves my side. He helps me organize a new place to live for my mom and Freddie, stands by my side at my father’s funeral, and keeps the press away from me completely. I have never felt more safe and free in my entire life, and it’s all because of him.
Eloise and I talked about everything that happened, she feels awful, but I don’t blame her for running away.
I know it’s affected her though, because things between us have been tense, and she has spent most of her time hiding out with Zara.
Freddie has gone back to school, slipping back into his classes seamlessly, despite everything, and I can’t believe how resilient he is.
We still agree he should talk to someone, and he’s been meeting with the school counselor three times a week.
It’s been harder for my mom, especially with the amount of friends reaching out to her, offering their condolences.
Apart from the funeral she hasn’t left the house, but she has been working with a trauma therapist to talk through her issues.
I’ve been making the effort to try to have dinner with her every night, and to my surprise she has fallen head over heels for Wilder.
In her words, he is good for me.
Not that I can deny it.
Right now, he is glaring at me in the mirror of his bathroom vanity. “Stop stalling, Blue,” he scolds, holding the mix up. “I promise I know what I’m doing.”
At that I grunt. “Yeah, that’s what worries me.” I tighten the cape around my shoulders and take a deep breath. “Just try not to stain my skin too much,” I warn, as he reaches up and pastes the first bit of blue hair dye onto my blond strands.
“Carry on and I’ll silence that smart mouth with my cock,” he snaps back, before focusing back on my hair.
I watch him in the mirror as he works quietly, coating all of my hair meticulously, until every strand is blue.
“See? Perfect,” he beams, dropping the bowl back to the counter, and I roll my eyes.
“Humble as always,” I muse, moving to stand, but he presses me roughly against the counter.
I immediately lean up to kiss him, my dick hardens at his proximity, forcing him to smirk against my mouth.
“Obsessed as always,” he tosses back, before setting a timer on his phone.
“Twenty minutes, huh? However shall we pass the time?” He reaches down to grip me, just as we hear the heavy slam of the door.
“This is fucking bullshit!” We hear Casper roar, and Wilder groans.
“Fuck me, if it’s not one cousin it’s the other,” he huffs, and I bark a laugh.
I can hear the mumble of other voices, so I can only presume the whole gang is here, so I kiss Wild quickly again.
“I told you we should have gone back to my apartment, we will have to put a pin in this until later.” I reluctantly peel myself away from him, not missing his groan of protest, but still he follows me from his bathroom so we can go and investigate what’s going on.
“She’s got to go,” Casper snaps as we reach the living room, finding all the other guys here, just as I expected.
Bobby is making himself and Caden a coffee, the latter watching his twin pace back and forth, whereas Knox and Beckett have already dropped onto the sofa. They are both dressed in the dark gray staff race suits that I have seen Wilder wear, whereas Casper is in the maroon student one.
“What happened now?” Wilder asks, nodding at Bobby, when he gestures if we want a drink.
“What do you think happened?” Knox grunts, watching his friend with a smirk. “Billie beat another one of his records.”
Wilder grins. “Ah, I see.”
“She didn't just beat it,” Beckett mutters. “She obliterated it.”
Bobby slides two mugs across the kitchen island before, looking over his shoulder. “To be fair,” he starts, but Casper points an accusatory finger at him.
“Don't.”
But of course he does.
“She did warn you she was coming for that lap,” he shrugs, and if possible, Casper looks even more pissed off.
“She is insufferable.”
“Funny,” Knox replies. “Pretty sure that's exactly what she calls you.”
They all start teasing him, making him argue with them back and forth, and I lean against the kitchen counter, quietly watching the chaos unfold around me.
It’s funny, because I grew up in what most people saw as the perfect family, with doting parents and a younger brother who idolized me, but they didn’t look close enough.
They didn’t see the cracks, the taunts, the abuse.
We were only perfect on the outside, whereas our insides were black and decayed.
This lot however, are what true family looks like.
Cousins who love each other like brothers, friends who treat each other like family, and thanks to my connection to Wilder, they have welcomed me with open arms. In a way, I feel more at home here than I ever did in the house I once called home, and I can’t help but smile as I listen to them bicker.
Casper finally notices me smiling. “And what are you smiling at, Reed?” he snaps, making Wilder laugh. “Are you enjoying my suffering?”
I shrug innocently. “I'd never.”
“Liar, you’ve spent too much time with this prick.” He gestures to Wilder, who only cheers him with his coffee mug, but Casper is too busy dropping into the armchair opposite me to notice. “She's got to go, she’s dismantling my legacy.”
“You're twenty,” Bobby deadpans. “You don't have a legacy.”
Casper throws a cushion at him, but Caden catches it with one hand before it can hit his best friend in the face. “I knew you loved me,” Bobby teases, making Caden then hit him with said pillow.
“Well I hate you,” Casper cuts in, before pointing at all of us. “I hate all of you!”
“We're just enjoying the fact that, for the first time in your life, someone isn't intimidated by Casper Miles,” Wilder finally responds, tugging me closer to him, and like a lovesick puppy, I let him.
“Well she should be, I'm brilliant.”
“Delusional,” Beckett coughs theatrically.
“Semantics,” Casper waves him off, before a slow grin spreads across his face. “Fuck this, I’m going back to the track, I’ll have that record back by morning.” He doesn’t even wait for a response, before he storms from the apartment as quickly as he came, slamming the door behind him.
The silence lasts exactly two seconds, before Bobby shakes his head with a laugh. “Fifty bucks says Billie beats him again.”
“Make it a hundred and you’re on,” Beckett replies, as Wilder looks at me with a grin.
“And you think I’m the chaotic one.”
“You’re the oldest,” I clap back. “That makes you the number one instigator.”
His smirk only grows. “Come back to the bathroom with me, Blue, I’d love to show you how good an instigator I am.” We both share a lust-filled look, before his eyes darken completely. “Everyone get the fuck out!” He doesn't wait for their response before dragging me back to the bathroom.
Then, I am forced into the shower, where he rinses off my hair dye and then bends me over, showing me that he is in fact, a fucking fabulous instigator. Only once I am thoroughly fucked do we fall into bed, his arms wrapping around me and pulling me tightly against his front.
“Goodnight, Blue, I love you.”
“Goodnight, Wild, I love you too.”
