Chapter 6 Soft Heart

He didn’t look at me once the whole way to the car.

The ride was completely silent. It looked like he was holding back his anger.

“If you want to say something, say it.”

“Why did you do that?” he finally asked.

“Do you like that girl?”

He recalled who I was talking about and slowly shook his head.

“Then why are you being so shy?”

“I just… I’m not used to suddenly being that close to someone.”

A ridiculous thought popped into my head. “Don’t tell me you’ve never dated anyone before if you’ve never slept with anyone.”

He paused, then said stubbornly, “I’m not the same as people like you.”

Maybe it was this answer that put me in such a good mood.

Chu Qingyun had never been touched by anyone, inside or out.

Except by me.

So I rarely apologized. “Sorry. I’ll be more careful next time. I won’t do that again.”

Even though there wasn’t much sincerity, it still counted as an apology.

Chu Qingyun looked at me in surprise, then gave a soft hum. His expression eased a little.

I studied his side profile and thought that Chu Qingyun really was easy to handle.

As long as I softened up a bit, he would feel too embarrassed to hold a grudge.

Typical. He only ate soft and not hard.
