Chapter 7 #3
Popping off me for a beat, he said, “Come for me, Alex.” He resumed his relentless stroking of my cock with his mouth.
It was all I could take. I couldn’t hold back another second.
As tingling swept across my body, harsh shudders followed, pulsing pleasure to every nerve ending while my dick spurt cum down his throat.
My toes curled into the carpet, and I clutched his hair between my fingers while gasps erupted from my mouth.
He milked every drop from me, and as it calmed, he lifted his head, licked across my tip and then swiped the back of his hand across his lips. “Yummy.” As his gaze drew to mine, he smirked. “I’m hard as a rock again.”
“You are?” I leaned close and peered between his legs. Yep, standing at attention. Could he come again in such a short time? “Do you want—”
“No, it’s fine.” With a soft chuckle, he rose, found his clothing, and dressed.
Covering up his fine body was a shame, but we shouldn’t hang out in our room naked. What if someone stopped by? I grabbed my sweats and briefs and pulled them up my legs. “So, I should probably nap. It’s one of those things we do before games.”
He fished his phone out of his sweats. “Yeah? We only have half an hour before we have to board the bus.” He rolled his lips. “But I guess twenty minutes is better than no minutes, huh?”
“Yeah.” My phone buzzed in my pocket. “Shit.” I pulled it from my sweats and looked at the screen. It was Margot. I had to take this. She was probably dealing with the plumber. “Hang on.” I started the call. “Hello?” Rising from the couch, I paced the room.
Julian wrinkled his nose and fell onto the bed on his back.
“Alex? I hope I didn’t disturb you. The plumber installed a new water heater, and I paid him with my credit card. I figured we could settle things when you get back,” she said.
“Yeah, sure. How much was it?” I twisted at the windows overlooking the strip. Hopefully she hadn’t gone cheap on me. I’d been too worried about getting to breakfast to mention how much money I wanted to spend.
“I selected a better one, so it was three thousand.” She paused. “That’s what you would have chosen, right?”
“Yep, you did well.” I should have known. She knew me. “Thanks for taking care of it.” I strolled toward the dinette.
“When you’re done, come and join me.” Julian patted the bed beside him, giving me a wry grin.
“Who’s that? It sounds like there’s a man in your room.”
“Uh…” Shit, did it matter if she knew we’d shared a room?
“Julian Mercer. He’s the owner’s son that I mentioned and our new operations assistant.
We had to share a room last night after they messed up his reservation.
” Make it sound nonchalant. She wouldn’t know that the room contained only one bed.
“Oh. Didn’t you make a comment last week at dinner about him being difficult?” She huffed a laugh. “It sounded like you didn’t like him much.”
Shit, could Julian hear this through the phone? With a glance at Julian, watching me like a hawk, I said, “Yeah, but anyway, I have to go now. Thanks again for taking care of the water heater.” I had to end this damn call.
“Sure, I’ll see you when you get back. Play well tonight.”
“I hope to. Bye now.” I stopped pacing and hung up.
“You told her I was difficult?” He raised the corner of his mouth as he sat against the pillows and the headboard.
Fuck, he heard it. “What, are you Superman with hearing like that?” With the difficulty of our first weeks working together, it shouldn’t have been a surprise. I crawled onto the bed and sat beside him.
Crossing his arms on his chest, he said, “That woman is loud, and she has a whiny voice. How do you put up with that?”
My brows ticked upward. “Whiny?” I’d never noticed it. “She’s a nice girl.”
“Nice, huh? She’s nice while I’m difficult.” He huffed, and a pout formed on his lips.
Cue the twelve-year-old, spoiled-brat side of Julian. “Look, you have to admit, when we first met, we didn’t see eye to eye.” Leaning across him, I placed a hard kiss on his lips. I’d kiss that pout right off his gorgeous face.
His mouth curled into a smug grin. “That’s because you’re such a know-it-all.” He dropped his arms to his sides.
“But I do know it all, and you didn’t do your homework before you started this job.” Were we really rehashing this now, when I needed to nap? Hell, it was too late now. I’d have to go into the game without my usual routine. I tipped my head back, resting it against the headboard.
“But you like me now, right? I mean, we get along. Somewhat.” He crawled over me on all fours, his gaze locked on mine. “You like it when your dick is in my mouth.” He pressed a lingering kiss on my lips. “And I like it when my dick is in your mouth.”
“Yeah, there’s that.” My cock stirred. Damn him, did he only think about sex?
A knock sounded at the door. “Hey, Volkov, time to go to the bus.” Mason’s voice filtered in. “Don’t want Julian making you late this time.” He snickered.
“Fucking Hopkins.” If only he had known the extent of it. Pushing Julian to the side, I hopped out of bed and called out, “I’m on my way.”
