Chapter 18

Chapter Eighteen

Palmer held on to Beau tightly. “No, Daddy,” she whined.

He patted her bottom and swayed her gently in his arms. “I need to go run you a bath, baby. We’re having dinner with Auntie Catherine, Uncle Sam, and Pippi tonight.”

Her head popped up like it was on a spring. “Pippi?”

Beau smiled. “Pippi,” he confirmed. “I’m glad you both love each other so much.”

Palmer nodded. “She’s so funny.”

Beau tried to lay her down again, but she clung tighter. “Don’t put me down yet, Daddy.”

Palmer had been feeling very cuddly since their ice cream date.

“I love holding you close, pretty baby, but we’re very short on time.”

“What do we need to do, Daddy?”

“You need a bath and I need a shower.”

Palmer nodded.

“I need to do our hair.”

Palmer knew that might take the longest. With curls like theirs, hair wash day did take a bit of time.

“I need to get us both dressed.”

Palmer held up three fingers.

“Anything else, Daddy?”

“And then we need to meet everyone at the Italian restaurant.”

Palmer added an additional finger, holding four fingers up.

Beau waited patiently, not rushing her.

“What if we take a shower together, Daddy? Would that save some time.”

Nodding, Beau agreed. “It would.”

“How many minutes would it save us?”

“About twenty minutes,” he answered.

“Can you hold me for twenty more minutes?”

Pressing a kiss to her head, he held her closer and sat down on the bed with her. “I like how you used your problem-solving skills, pretty baby.”

“Thanks, Daddy. I missed you today.”

Rocking them back and forth, Beau murmured his agreement. “It’s a long day when I don’t get to see your pretty face during the day.”

“Thank you for taking the time to rock me.” Suddenly her tummy hurt a tiny bit. Had it been selfish to ask for more of his time? Beau already gave her so much. She sat up in his arms. “I’m sorry, Daddy.”

Frowning, he stroked her face. “Why are you sorry, baby?”

“You already do so much for me and I asked for more. That was selfish of me.”

Repositioning her on his lap, he moved her so they were chest to chest. “It isn’t selfish of you to ask me for more time at all, little one. It’s healthy and I am very, very glad you did.”

“It’s healthy?” That was weird. Broccoli and carrots were healthy, not asking for more time.

“Any time you ask for what you need in a relationship—friendship or romantically—it’s healthy.

It’s a clear sign of communication. I will always do my best to grant your requests in our relationship, I might just not be able to do it the minute you ask.

Today for example, I want very much to hold you, but we have a commitment to be on time for dinner, so while I can’t spend the rest of the night holding you—even though I very much want to—I do plan to make extra time for us to snuggle when we get back from dinner. ”

Palmer listened carefully. She always listened when Beau explained things--he was so good at helping her understand.

Still sitting in his lap she thought about what he had said.

“So asking for things we need is healthy?”

“That’s right.”

“And just because someone maybe can’t do it right away doesn’t mean they’re rejecting you or saying no.”

“Exactly.”

Palmer nodded thoughtfully. That made sense. Her earlier tummy ache of worry started to loosen. “Okay,” she said quietly.

Beau brushed a curl away from her forehead. “Are you feeling better about it?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“That’s what I like to hear.”

She wrapped her arms around his shoulders again and rested her head against him for a moment.

Beau rocked them gently, the slow back-and-forth motion calming and steady.

After a few sways, Palmer spoke again. “How many minutes have we used already?”

Beau chuckled, looking at the clock on the dresser. “About… twelve.”

“Okay.” She leaned back to look at him. “That means even if we snuggle for three more minutes, we’ll still save five minutes.”

“Good math, pretty baby.”

She rested her head back on his shoulder and sighed happily. Beau continued rocking them slowly.

“I like this,” Palmer said softly. “I like spending time with you.”

“I like spending time with you too, little girl. You make me so damn happy.”

Palmer hummed quietly.

After a few minutes she asked another question. “Daddy?”

“Yes, pretty baby.”

“One day will we be intimate?”

Beau considered her words carefully. “Do you mean sexually?”

Palmer nodded, feeling her face heat with her question.

“Do you want us to be intimate in the future, little one?”

His eyes were warm and kind. Palmer was so grateful there was no judgment in them. “I do. I’m just… I’m not…” she grew frustrated when she couldn’t find her words.

“There’s nothing wrong you could say, baby. Take your time,” he encouraged.

“I’m not a v-virgin, but I’ve only had sex once. I don’t think I’m very good at it because it didn’t feel… magical.”

Beau squeezed her tightly. “Thank you for telling me what was on your mind. The beautiful thing about us being together is that it will be amazing no matter what. When you care about someone the way we care about each other, sparks will always fly during our time together. It will feel good in our hearts and in our bodies.”

Palmer considered his wise words before nodding. “Yeah. It will be magical whenever I’m intimate with you.”

“Pretty baby, I felt the magic the moment I met you and believe we’ll both feel the magic for the rest of our lives together.”

A big weight lifted from Palmer’s chest. “You think we will spend the rest of our lives together?” That was such a happy thought!

“I do. I’m head over heels about you, pretty baby.”

Palmer grinned. “You make my heart happy, Daddy.” She pressed a kiss to his cheek.

“You make my heart very happy too. You make it full of sunshine and rainbows.”

Palmer wrapped her arms around his neck again.

“Had you been worrying about us having sex for a while, little one?”

Palmer nodded. “Since we had breakfast with Auntie Catherine and Uncle Sam. They were kissing and touching a lot. I was worried you’d be sad we weren’t and then I was sad we weren’t.”

Beau pressed a kiss to each of her cheeks.

“Thank you for telling me that something was worrying you. I’m not sad that we aren’t doing the same things Auntie Catherine and Uncle Sam are.

They have been together for a very long time and their relationship took time to blossom too.

I’m happy to move at Palmer and Daddy’s pace, but I’m sorry you’re feeling sad we haven’t been intimate. I didn’t want you to feel rushed.”

Palmer smiled. “Thank you for taking care of me, Daddy.”

“I always will, pretty baby.”

Beau patted her bottom and she climbed from his lap.

“I think we took longer than twenty minutes, Daddy.”

Beau laughed. “That’s okay, pretty baby. We’ll just have to take a super-fast shower.”

“I’m gonna beat you, Daddy!” Palmer said before running to the bathroom, stripping off as she went.

Beau laughed behind her. She made it to the bathroom first and eased open the glass doors.

Reaching in she turned the knob to where she’d seen Daddy put it.

Stripping off her duckie panties, she turned to see Beau already completely naked.

His cock was fully erect and curving upward.

Usually when Daddy got in the bath with her, the bubbles covered it and while she’d often felt it pushed against her bottom, she’d had no idea it was that large.

“Whoa,” she said, unable to form any other words.

Beau rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Daddy finds you and your body very attractive. That’s just a natural response to having such a pretty woman in my life.”

Palmer smiled, “You really think I’m pretty?”

“I think you’re beautiful,” he said, scooping her up and stepping into the warm spray with her. “I have the most beautiful baby in the whole world.”

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Palmer studied his mouth. His lips were so plump and pink.

“Daddy?”

“Yes, baby?”

“C-can… c-could…” Palmer hesitated.

“It’s okay to ask for what you need,” he reminded her.

“Can I kiss you?”

A slow smile spread across Beau’s face.

“Absolutely, pretty baby.” He leaned in slightly.

When their lips met, it was soft and brief. Just a simple, sweet kiss. Everything else seemed to fade—the time crunch they were on, the running shower, even the steam fogging up the windows. It was just the two of them in a beautiful moment.

When they pulled apart, they were both smiling.

“Thank you, Daddy.”

“No, thank you, Palmer. That was beautiful.”

Palmer’s tummy felt different. So did her breasts. She felt heavy.

Beau soaped up a cloth and started to bathe her, but each swipe of the wet material over her sensitive nipples made her more achy.

“Are you okay, pretty baby?”

“I…” Palmer could feel the heat rushing toward her cheeks while simultaneously feeling the blood rush to her clit. “I need you.”

Looking worried, Beau pulled her close, his cock pressing into her belly. “I’m right here, baby.”

“No, I…” Palmer struggled with her words. Trying to be brave, Palmer reached between them and wrapped her hand around Beau’s shaft.

Heat filled his eyes. “Yeah?”

“Please, Daddy.”

Ducking his head, he took her mouth in a heated kiss, his tongue swept through her mouth to dance with hers.

“We’re going to be late,” Palmer gasped, torn between being loyal to her friends and getting her own needs met.

“This is a very good reason to be late, pretty baby,” Beau said, nipping down her neck.

Pressing her aching breasts against him, she rubbed her tender nipples across his chest hair.

Beau spun her so that her back rested against his front.

His large hands cupped and squeezed her breasts while his dick pressed into her back.

Unable to take it anymore, she reached behind him and grabbed his length before bending forward a bit.

“Daddy, please, I need you,” she begged.
