Chapter 13
A dull throb between Cashmere’s legs was the first thing she noticed when she woke up the next morning.
An easy smile spread across her face as she recalled the night before.
It had been too long since she’d been dicked down that good, and for the first time in probably forever, she woke up stress-free.
Slowly, she rolled over, which was hard with Savio’s heavy arm circled around her body. She smiled when she saw him already awake and looking at her.
“Morning, creep.” She giggled.
Savio grinned. “Mornin’, beautiful.” He kissed her cheek and then her forehead before he pulled her close so they could snuggle.
Cashmere couldn’t remember the last time she had the chance to cuddle.
Maybe when she and Ivoree were little and had to sleep under the same covers to keep warm.
That thought almost brought a tear to her eye.
It was at that moment she realized how deprived of love she had been her entire life.
That never bothered her before because she was always on the grind, trying to survive.
Something had changed in the last couple of months. “What’s wrong?”
Savio broke her from her thoughts, and she tilted her head to look at him. “Nothing.” She smiled sadly.
He squeezed her body. “Something.”
“How you know?” She giggled as he nuzzled into her. Cashmere had never met someone so affectionate.
“Because I observe you. I know you better than you think, Precious. Tell me what’s wrong.”
She sighed. “I like you.”
“That’s a problem?” He chuckled as he pulled back and looked down at her.
Cashmere played with the silk fabric of her comforter as she breathed in the faint smell of his cologne. “It’s not a problem. I’m just not used to liking someone.”
“I peeped that,” Savio said, and she could hear amusement dancing in his tone.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She shoved him playfully. She knew she wasn’t the most inviting woman, and that outside of Cassydie and Marcellus, she had no friends, but he didn’t have to do her like that.
“I’m just sayin’. You’re closed off. You don’t let people in. You don’t even like people as far as I can tell.”
Cashmere shrugged. “True. I think it’s because of my parents.”
“Care to elaborate?” Savio murmured before he kissed the top of her head.
She snuggled back into him, feeling completely relaxed as she thought about her parents. “They just weren’t good people. Crazy in the head and on drugs . . . It made me not like them. If I don’t even like my own parents, why would I like anyone else?”
“That’s a fucked-up thought process, baby. A lot of people grow up with shitty parents. Don’t mean you can’t like people.”
“I guess it was my way of coping so I don’t get hurt any more than I already have. I don’t know how the hell you broke through all that, but you did.”
“Easy. I wasn’t about to take no for an answer. Prison made me patient. You could have taken as long as you wanted, but you was eventually gonna be mine.”
Cashmere looked into his eyes. “You think I’m yours?”
“You don’t?” Savio asked before he dipped his head and kissed her neck.
Cashmere squirmed. The thought of being his terrified her and excited her at the same time.
She wasn’t sure she was ready for that kind of commitment yet.
She’d just gotten used to being nice to Savio.
Being his girl was a whole different playing field.
He continued to kiss her neck while her thoughts raced.
Luckily, she didn’t have to respond to Savio, because they got lost in the feel of each other, and before she knew it, he had slid into her from the side.
His strong hand held her leg up as he stroked her slowly.
Her fingers found her clit, and she rubbed slow circles around it.
Savio’s hand found her neck, and he tilted her head so he could tongue her down.
Cashmere moaned into his mouth. “Fuck, Sav.”
“Call me daddy while I’m strokin’ this sweet ass pussy. Let me hear you say it.”
“Daddy . . .”
“That’s a good girl. You so fuckin’ pretty while you’re takin’ this dick, ain’t you? Huh? Tell me how pretty you are, baby.”
“I-I’m pretty,” Cashmere said. Her pussy clenched, and she moaned again. She would pretty much tell him anything he wanted at this point. If he wanted her to tell him how good of a job he did hanging the damn stars, she would.
“Why yo’ pussy so good, baby? Huh? Tell daddy why yo’ pussy so good,” he demanded. Cashmere couldn’t speak though. Her core told her it was time to release, and she lost all her words. Her mouth sat ajar as her legs shook, and Savio grinned. “Aw, you cummin’ for me already?”
Her response was her pussy clenching around him tightly. Cashmere vaguely heard Savio curse as he pumped into her harder, but all sense had left her body as her juices flowed over his dick.
When she finally came to, Savio had pulled out of her and busted his nut on her side. They lay there, spent from their lazy morning sex. Eventually, Cashmere slowly got up and rushed into the bathroom so his cum wouldn’t drip off her and onto the floor.
Savio’s laugh followed her into the bathroom, and she smirked as she shook her head.
While she grabbed a fresh towel, she looked at herself in the mirror.
Her hair was a mess, and her lashes looked like they needed to be filled.
Her full lips looked swollen from all the kissing, but there was a glow to her that wasn’t there the day before.
She blushed as she cleaned up her side. She didn’t know what kind of hold Savio Meekins had on her, but she had to admit that she loved it.
Just as she turned on the shower and was about to step in, Savio walked into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
“You think you gonna shower without me?”
“I thought,” she said breathlessly.
“You thought wrong.” He kissed her cheek and stepped inside the shower.
Cashmere watched him, and with a deep blush, she noticed that his dick was already back to semi-hard. She’d planned on cooking them some breakfast to replenish some energy, but she figured that would just have to wait as she stepped into the shower behind him.
Cashmere had never been much of a singer, but nobody could tell her shit at the moment as she belted a popular Keisha Cole song at the top of her lungs while she danced around the kitchen.
It was now well into the afternoon, and she was famished. Savio couldn’t come up off her this morning. She was okay with that because she didn’t want to come up off him either.
While she plated the food, she danced around and smiled. Cashmere wasn’t sure she ever felt so free before, and she wanted the feeling to last, but unfortunately for her, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed and burst her happy bubble.
“What are you so happy about?”
Cashmere whirled around with a spatula in her hand, poised as if it were a microphone. She quickly put it down on the counter and smiled at her baby sister.
“Hello to you too. What are you so grumpy about?” Cashmere asked in a sing-song voice.
Ivoree’s face scrunched up, and she looked Cashmere over.
That was when Cashmere remembered that she only had on Savio’s black T-shirt, and she felt her cheeks warm.
She’d always tried to set a good example for her baby sister, and here she was flaunting her happy post-fuck glow like it was a good thing.
Girl, it is a good thing, ain’t it? the small voice in the back of her mind asked.
She wasn’t sure. It felt good. That she knew.
But she didn’t know what it meant to blur the professional lines between her and Savio.
He was the head of her security, and she was a part of the council, something he could never know.
How would she navigate these new feelings and this budding relationship?
According to Savio, she was already his.
As doubt crept in, Ivoree continued to stare at her. Her baby sister finally snapped her out of her thoughts and asked, “You guys fucked?”
Her vulgar language threw Cashmere for a loop. “Excuse me?”
“Did you have sex with Savio finally?”
Cashmere shifted uncomfortably. Normally, she told Ivoree everything, and vice versa, but for some reason, this information felt sacred.
Her eyes lit up when she spotted Savio walk into the room. He snapped his fingers to the beat of the song playing from the sound system before he pulled Cashmere by the hands and twirled her around.
Cashmere completely forgot about Ivoree’s question as she giggled while Savio danced with her and sang off-key to her.
“Guess that answers my question,” Ivoree mumbled as she grabbed a water bottle from the refrigerator. “I’m heading out.”
Cashmere snapped out of her happy daze long enough to glance at Ivoree. “You have more security starting today. After what happened yesterday, I’m not taking any chances.”
“And Twizz?” Ivoree asked.
“He was reminded of his job and to keep things professional,” Savio said as he looked directly into Ivoree’s eyes. Cashmere watched with a frown. It was as if Savio was warning her baby sister to keep it professional too.
Ivoree rolled her eyes but nodded before she walked out of the kitchen.
Cashmere gazed up at Savio. “You know Ivoree has a good head on her shoulders, right?”
“What about it?” Savio asked as he palmed her ass that peeked out from under his shirt she wore.
“I’m just saying that between Twizz and Ivoree, only one of them has been known to run the streets. You don’t have to remind Vee to keep shit professional.”
Savio grunted. “I ain’t ’bout to sit here and argue wit’ ya pretty ass, especially not with the way it’s smellin’ in here. What you make?”
Cashmere allowed the topic to drop. She didn’t want to ruin the good vibes either, but she knew that going forward she was going to keep an eye on Twizz. Her initial intuition about him had been right. He was no good for Ivoree, and she would do everything to keep her baby sister safe.
“Grilled salmon, rice, and a salad.”
