Chapter 13 - Misha

“Kliment, if someone walks in—”

“They won’t,” he replied, cutting me off mid-sentence.

His lips attacked mine with an urgency that I had never experienced before, making me feel things I could have only dreamed of.

Every touch, every kiss, every emotion with him was heightened in ways I had only read about.

And I enjoyed all of it. Thoroughly. It had been a couple of weeks since we both had given into our desire for one another, and every waking moment had been filled with nothing but passion since.

Neither of us could help it. It almost felt as if I hadn’t known the meaning of desire before him.

“That’s a dangerous level of confidence for a man standing in a laundry closet with me,” I replied, pulling away from him as my soft chuckle echoed through the almost empty space around us.

His mouth brushed just below my ear, slow and deliberate, like he had all the time in the world despite the fact that we very much did not.

The house was filled with my team and his men, and the entire housekeeping staff, and the two of us just couldn’t keep our hands off each other.

It was even more difficult when I saw him in action, making plans and finalizing things with an authority only he possessed.

It only made me want him more. So much more.

“You’re the one who followed me in here,” he murmured. “You want it just as much as I do, my love.”

I let out a quiet breath that was far less steady than I intended it to be. “You were the one who looked at me like that in the middle of a strategy meeting. How is a girl supposed to resist?”

“Looked at you like what?” he asked, his fingers inching dangerously close to the waistband of my trousers. I was soaking wet already, and he was not making it easier for me. Whenever I was around him, I felt like a horny teenager who had no self-control whatsoever. I just wanted him. All the time.

“Like you wanted to devour me in every unholy way imaginable.”

“That’s because you were talking about dismantling a trafficking network with so much passion,” he said, his voice low, almost amused. “It’s distracting when you act that way.”

“You mean when I do my job?” I laughed, tracing my fingers along his abs. He was just the right amount of sculpted and the right amount of muscular. No matter how many times I saw him shirtless, it was always a delight when he took it off again. If it were up to me, I would keep him that way.

“Yes, exactly that.”

I turned my head just enough to meet his eyes, narrowing mine slightly. “You’re impossible.”

“And you should not even think about leaving this closet until I have had my way with you.”

That wasn’t a question, and I had no willpower to deny him anything anyway.

His hand tightened slightly at my waist, pulling me closer, and I felt that familiar shift again.

The one that had become increasingly dangerous over the past few weeks.

It was neither chaotic nor reckless, but simply bordered on the control that existed between us.

As if the two of us had chosen each other and were continuing to choose each other every single day.

I should have stepped back and gone back to work, but I didn’t. I couldn’t.

“Fine. You have thirty seconds if you can make it work,” I said under my breath, a smile forming over my lips. I knew he could. He could probably do it in less. That was just the effect he had on me.

His lips curved faintly. “Misha, you won’t make it that long. We both know how loud, wet, and turned on you get when you are in my arms.”

“Can’t deny that,” I moaned, as his fingers finally found their way inside my trousers and panties, his thumb immediately beginning to brush circles all over my clitoris.

My breath hitched at the touch, my pussy growing wetter at once.

He hooked both of his hands around my waistband and pulled my trousers down completely before getting on his knees and sitting down in front of me.

He was so tall that even on his knees, he easily reached my waist.

“What are you doing?” I asked, my eyes widening while he grabbed me from my hips and pulled me towards him.

“You already know the answer to that, Misha,” he whispered, his voice rough with desire.

I arched my back as his mouth landed on my aching pussy, his tongue lapping in and out of me with a precision that told me how well he knew my body.

He knew exactly what I liked and what I needed.

His tongue, coupled with his thumb over my clitoris, had me coming all over his face within seconds while I continued to moan his name, no longer caring if anyone would hear us.

“Kliment, fuck, fuck. I need you,” I whispered while he looked at me, a smirk on his handsome face.

“Need me how?” I both loved and hated it when he did that.

“You know what,” I said, turning crimson at the question.

“Tell me,” he replied, standing up. I watched as he moved a few paces back and began unbuckling his belt in front of me, every movement slow and precise. He knew exactly what he was doing to me, and he was enjoying every second of it.

“I need you to fuck me so hard that I forget to breathe.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

He lowered his pants, his dicks already hard for me.

Without wasting another second, he positioned himself at my slick opening and filled me completely with a single thrust. I shouted his name at the feeling, clinging to him completely.

He easily supported my weight in his arms while continuing to pound me with an intensity that was nothing new to either of us.

“Oh god,” I moaned, and Kliment only fucked me harder. “I am going to come.”

“Come for me, baby,” he whispered, his words coming out breathless. Within seconds, both of us orgasmed, our bodies slick with sweat as our breathing finally slowed. I didn’t get the chance to register anything else or hear the footsteps when the knock came sharply against the door.

We both froze for exactly half a second.

“Misha?” Diane. Of course, it was Diane.

I closed my eyes briefly. “You have got to be kidding me.”

Kliment didn’t move and didn’t step back, making no effort to let me go. If anything, he looked amused and entertained.

“Do not do anything dumb. Let me go right now,” I warned quietly, but he didn’t answer, and the glint in his eyes was enough to tell me that he had no plans to even listen to me.

The door opened then, and Diane stepped in first, pausing as her gaze fell on us.

Behind her, Viktor followed and stopped just as abruptly.

The silence in the laundry closet was heavy and immediate and absolutely unmistakable.

I was still pressed against Kliment, his hand still at my waist and my fingers still gripping the front of his shirt for support.

There was no plausible deniability. None.

Even though I knew that everyone had already guessed about Kliment and me by now, I turned scarlet at being caught this way.

I couldn’t have imagined something like this happening for the life of me.

Diane blinked once, clearly trying to understand what was happening but appearing increasingly shocked as she registered the scene.

Then, with impressive composure, she said, “We’ll come back. You two should… should—”

“No,” I said immediately, cutting her off and straightening. I stepped away from Kliment, quickly fixing my clothes before anyone could see any more than they already had seen, and the situation could become any worse. “Don’t. We were just talking. Discussing strategy.”

What the hell, Misha?

I knew there was no point in denying it anymore or trying to find excuses.

Even though we had never been caught before, everyone had noticed our shared glances and the subtle grazing of fingertips over maps in the main room.

My feelings for Kliment were on my face, and he was doing nothing to conceal his desire either.

Viktor turned his head slightly, staring very intently at a shelf full of folded towels like it had personally offended him. He was refusing to even look at us.

“I saw nothing, boss. I promise,” he muttered.

“You definitely saw something,” Diane replied calmly, beginning to look just as amused as Kliment. She was clearly enjoying my discomfort.

“I will forget it immediately,” Viktor replied. The poor man appeared to be even more embarrassed than I was.

“Please do,” I said.

Kliment, meanwhile, had the audacity to look completely unbothered. Of course he did.

Diane shifted her attention back to me, expression perfectly neutral. “So are the two of you planning to come outside. We have something.”

That was enough to snap everything back into place.

I nodded once. “Give us a minute.”

They both stepped out without another word, and the door closed behind them.

I turned to Kliment slowly. “All of this is your fault.”

“That’s not true.”

“You started it by bringing me here.”

“You followed me here yourself, my love.”

I stared at him and noticed how he didn’t even try to look apologetic.

“You are unbelievable,” I muttered, running a hand through my hair.

He stepped closer again, slower this time, his gaze steady on mine. “You’re smiling.”

“I am not.”

“Yes, you are.”

I exhaled, shaking my head slightly. “We have work to do.

“Mm.”

He didn’t argue, but just as I turned around to leave, he pulled me towards him. I clung to his chest, staring at his eyes as I did so.

“Misha,” he whispered, my name like a prayer.

“What?” I asked, all thoughts exiting my mind except his gaze on me.

“You should know that I am not ashamed of everyone knowing about the two of us. I have never felt about anyone the way I feel about you, and I am not scared of anyone finding out. I am proud to have you this close to me, so I don’t care who knows and who doesn’t. Do you understand?”

“I do,” I whispered, gulping in loudly.

I had never felt more wanted in my entire life.
