Tyrant Chapter 15 #4

I cleared my throat to get his attention. When he looked over at me, I had an eyebrow raised, and I was giving him my I’m gonna kick your ass look.

“Hey, you can’t hold that against me, Pres.

I’d have to be blind and deaf and maybe half-dead not to notice all that about her.

Your old lady is a total fucking babe. Get used to it because I’m not the only brother who thinks it.

At least with us, you have nothing to fear.

We honor a claim. Outsiders, though, will have to be warned away and sometimes given an ass beating to leave her alone,” Crypto said nonchalantly.

“No one needs their asses beaten. Thank you for the compliment, Crypto. Back to Jean-Baptiste. Was there anything else you wanted to know about him?” Lakelyn tried to divert me.

I had news. If I had wanted to beat Crypto’s ass, nothing she said would have changed my mind.

However, I knew he was speaking the truth.

“Did he ever try anything with you when you kept saying no? Why are you so wary of him?” Cobra asked.

Again, she shivered. I saw her dart a glance at her brother, then down at the table. My radar went off. She was hiding something and didn’t want River to know. Cobra and Crypto caught it, too. They sat straighter.

“Lakelyn, mon doux bébé, look at me,” I said. When she didn’t, I put a command in my voice. “Lakelyn, look at me.”

Slowly, her eyes rose. She caught all four of us staring intently at her. “Tyrant, don’t. I can’t say.”

“Why not?” River asked.

“Because your sister is hiding something from you,” I baldly stated.

She scowled at me. “Don’t tell him that!”

“Why not? It’s the truth. We don’t have time for games, Lakelyn. Your brother is a man. He can handle it. I know you try to protect him, but he’s gotta be able to stand on his own.”

She glared at me.

“Lake, tell me. Tyrant is right,” River said.

She and I had a staring contest for a solid thirty seconds before she gave in. “I didn’t want to tell you because I felt guilty. If I’d done as he wanted and gone on those dates, he wouldn’t have done what he did. Dad might’ve gotten off with a warning.”

“Did what?” River persisted.

“Remember when you got the notice from your top pick college that the big scholarship you’d gotten had fallen through?

They made up an excuse that it was a clerical error.

It had been sent to the wrong person. They profusely apologized and hoped you’d still attend in the fall.

They said they would love to have you in any of their computer degree programs.” She paused to take a drink of water.

“I remember. What’s that got to do with this?” River asked.

“I discovered afterward it was Jean-Baptiste who had it taken from you. You’d been awarded the scholarship based on merit.

The first letter wasn’t a mistake. I discovered it when Jean-Baptiste called and informed me that he’d ensure it was reinstated if I agreed to go out with him.

He said that his family had a lot of pull and helped to fund things at the college.

The college didn’t want to lose them as boosters.

He also threatened that the other colleges in the area could find the same clerical errors if I didn’t.

He gave me a week to think about it. That call was two days before Dad came to us.

When that happened, I forgot everything about the colleges and dates.

I’m sorry, River. I didn’t want to tell you.

You were stressed about the first one and how to pay for school as it was.

I couldn’t make you more worried, and hated that it was my fault. ”

I reached over, yanked her chair closer to mine, then lifted her out of it and onto my lap. She tried to wiggle away, but I wasn’t having it. I held her tightly against me. She jumped when River slammed his fist on the table. He was pissed.

“It wasn’t your goddamn fault! It was his.

Those fucking Jacquots think they can play God with other people’s lives.

Well, I have news for them. They can’t. I’m done hiding from them and worrying about what they’ll do.

I don’t want to hear you say it was your fault again.

It was due to that fucker Jean-Baptiste having a tantrum because he couldn’t have what he wanted.

Tyrant, tell me that the club is going after these bastards.

If not, then I’ll find a way to do it myself.

No one is taking one more person I love from me,” he snapped.

“You’ll keep your ass here. No going off half-cocked.

We plan and secure all our resources before we make a move.

However, I can assure you that when we do, there won’t be a Jacquot left standing.

And anyone else in their organization who we find needs to be culled, they will be.

Pay attention. Your sister is my old lady.

You’re about to be taught how the Kings take care of things.

I can’t have you running wild and screwing things up,” I warned him.

I appreciated his fire and desire to do it himself, but he didn’t know how. We did. None of us wanted to end up in prison when it was all said and done.

“Who do you want to bring in to help?” Cobra asked me. It was time to start planning.

“They’re further away, but why don’t we see if the Ohio chapter can help us? Scythe and his guys might want to do it. If not, we’ll ask another,” I suggested.

“I think that’s a good idea. If they can’t, we have several others closer,” VP agreed.

“How many chapters are there?” Lakelyn asked.

“Hell, there were forty-five at the last count. New ones are cropping up all the time. Sometimes, a chapter will pop up in the same state. I can’t keep track anymore,” I told her.

“Forty-five? Do they have the same number of guys as you do in them?” she asked.

“Roughly, yeah. So that gives us almost seven hundred men. I don’t think the Jacquots have those numbers. Crypto, keep your ears to the ground in case something more comes up. River, will you help him with that?”

“Sure, I’d be happy to,” River answered.

“Good. I’ll call and talk to Scythe. Cobra, I want you to go through our inventory.

I want us to be prepared. If we’re lacking anything, find it.

If you need help, get Howler or Brutus on it with you.

I’d like to have this over with well before the planned meeting on the seventh.

In the meantime, we go along as if it’s business as usual. ”

“That’s the meeting you discussed the night I came to the clubhouse?” Lakelyn asked.

Since she already knew about it, I didn’t see a need to deny it or tell her it was club business. “That’s the one. Alright, I think that’s all for now. Get back to enjoying your weekend. I heard my old lady mention something about making cookies earlier.” I gave her a wink.

She laughed. “I did. But I’m sure I said I’d only make them if you behaved. I’m not sure you’ve done that well enough.”

“Oh, damn, that sucks, Tyrant, because my sister makes the best cookies, no matter what kind they are. It sucks to be you. Hey, sis, I’ve been really good and working hard with Crypto. I think I deserve some,” River said. He gave her a pleading look.

“Me too. I’ve been working like mad,” Crypto chimed in.

“Well, if you two get them, then so do I,” Cobra added.

I kissed up her neck to her ear. “If you want me to do what I did last night again, you’d better feed me those cookies. And I get more than these three. I’m your man,” I whispered.

Her body quivered, and the way her skin flushed, I knew she remembered the spanking and restraining from last night, and the second time I took her after that.

Thinking about it had my cock growing, and it nudged against her pussy lips through our pants.

I ground my cock against her. I knew what we’d be doing before any cookies were made.

“We’ll get out of your hair, Pres. See you later, Lakelyn. If you make those cookies, don’t forget us,” Cobra said as he stood.

The slight smirk he wore told me he knew I was horny and wanted to be alone to fuck my woman.

The other two rose. I held her on my lap.

River came over, kissed her cheek, then said goodbye and shook my hand.

Crypto chuckled as he waved at us. Yeah, he knew what was up.

I barely waited for them to clear the door before sweeping her up in my arms, and off we went to the bedroom.
