Chapter 29

SAMAIRA

T he first thing Dominic did after being locked in the cage was open all the bindings that held the three men immobile. The second thing he did was stand in front of Tommy and punch him with the brass knuckles so hard that two of his teeth fell out.

After that, it was a no-holds-barred attack. It was three against one, but there was no competition. It was cold-blooded revenge. Pure and simple, and fucking beautiful.

Dominic was poetry in violence. Every punch was a punishment, every kick was a catharsis.

Every scream was a cry of retribution. Every drop of blood that he shed of his enemies was proof of vengeance.

Dominic was beautiful in his brutality. He was a man who cared deeply about his family, whose dedication to their happiness and well-being was the driving force behind his need for revenge.

Dominic’s sister, mother, and father stood outside the cage, watching him beat the ever-living shit out of Sophie’s rapists.

None of them blinked. Not even once. None of them got squeamish.

None of them asked him to stop. This was as much their fight as it was Dominic’s.

Sophie’s face was streaked with tears as she held the crisscross wires of the cage like her life depended on it.

She flinched when one of them punched Dominic hard in the stomach, causing him to fall on his knees.

“Get up, Oppa,” Sophie screamed, shaking the walls of the cage.

My fist clenched with the need to go inside and chop off the hand of the fucker who dared to touch Dominic. But I stayed put. This was his fight. His revenge. I was here, and nothing was going to happen to Dominic under my watch.

The three of them tried to restrain Dominic. They punched him; they kicked him. But a brother's wrath wasn’t something you ever won against.

Dominic got back up every single time. His lips dripped with blood, his one eye was swollen shut, his knuckles were bruised, the brass knuckles dripping with blood, but he had a vicious smile on his face.

He wiped his lips with the back of his hand as he stared at Tommy with murder in his eyes.

“How does it feel to know you’re never getting out of here? ”

Tommy snarled. “You have any idea who you’re dealing with?”

Tommy’s friend came at Dominic at the same time as Tommy spoke, and Dominic punched him in the nose and then kicked him in the knees so his leg twisted and cracked. The guy went down with a whimper.

Dominic turned back to Tommy. “The state attorney. I’m aware. But you know what? I don’t give a fuck.”

Tommy laughed as if he found Dominic naive.

“Oh, Dominic. My dad and I are just pawns in a vast game of chess. If anything were to happen to me, my dad would destroy you. All these real estate contracts and clients you get, they’ll disappear.

All those partnerships you’re involved in, they’ll pull out.

The Park family will be on the streets with one word from my father.

Are you sure you want to risk it all for one night of my mistake? ”

Dominic’s body heaved, and with a loud snarl that shook the cage, he threw the nearest chair at Tommy, slamming him against the cage.

He lunged at Tommy, grabbing him by the collar and landing a punch on his nose.

“A mistake is making a wrong investment.” Punch .

“A mistake is spilling your coffee on someone.” Punch .

“A mistake is trusting the wrong person.” Punch .

“If what you did to my sister was your mistake , it was the last mistake you will ever make in your pathetic excuse of a life.”

By the time Dominic was done letting out all his anger, the three of them were a writhing, groaning mess on the floor.

Dominic turned to look at his family as he removed the bloody brass knuckles and put them in his pocket. He then pulled the knife from his back pocket that I’d handed him. “You might want to go upstairs. This is not gonna be pretty.”

Dominic’s mom took a step forward and stood beside Sophie. “These three men brutally raped your sister. Every time I close my eyes, I see my daughter beaten and broken and fighting for her life. Go ahead, Dominic. My eyes have been waiting for the day to replace that image with something better.”

“As you wish, Mom.” Dominic’s face was splattered with the blood of his sister’s rapists. He held a knife like an amateur, but the smile on his face was death incarnate.

As Dominic turned around to face the three men, his father stepped up to his daughter and wife, holding them in his arms, his gaze unwavering as he looked at Dominic.

I had no idea if Dominic had ever held another man’s dick before, especially a tiny, soft one, soaking in piss. But Dominic did not hesitate for a second as he snapped open Tommy’s friend’s pants and pulled out his cock as he kicked and screamed to no avail .

“Like slicing an apple, Dom,” I said, my eyes glued to Dominic.

He looked back at me, holding down the fucker, and gave me a sharp smile. “I usually bite into an apple. Haven’t really sliced one before.”

I snorted. “Just put us out of our misery and do it, Dom.”

Sophie cleared her throat, turning all our eyes to her. “He’s the one who asked Tommy not to do it. But when Tommy told him that he’d let him fuck me if he kept his mouth shut, he very happily obeyed. He raped me not once but twice. He’s the one who drove the car around till they were all done.”

Dominic’s eyes darkened with fury, and he turned to the man whimpering beneath him, screaming his apologies.

With one sharp motion, Dominic sliced off the man’s penis.

Fucking nasty business, but he turned around and dropped the tiny, bloody dick on the floor near Sophie’s feet. “One down, two to go.”

His screams echoed in the room, causing the remaining two to lose their shit. They kept trying to hit Dominic, but they were already too weak. He grabbed Tommy's other friend and climbed on top of him, raining down punches.

He paused after pulling down the guy’s pants, and I realized he was waiting for Sophie.

Sophie realized it too, and she cleared her throat. “He’s the one who tore open my ass. He beat me so hard, my cheekbone cracked. And he spit on me.”

Dominic’s body heaved as he did the same thing to the man underneath him.

He spat on him, sliced his dick off, and then, without mercy, without a single pause, slammed the knife inside his ass, tearing it open.

The guy died instantly. He then placed the chopped dick with the other mutilated dick near Sophie’s feet.

Watching two of his men get their dicks chopped off was the perfect way to traumatize Tommy into madness.

Once Dominic descended on him, Sophie, for the last time, said, “He’s the one who ordered for me to be raped.

He’s the one who orchestrated the whole thing.

He slapped me. Bit me. He’s the one responsible for most of my injuries.

He’s the one who stole my chance to be a mom someday. ”

With that last sentence, Dominic cut off Tommy’s dick and then stabbed him in the heart, stealing his last breath.

In two more flicks, he killed the last man alive who was busy writhing in his own pool of blood, finally claiming justice for his sister.

He dropped to his knees at Sophie’s feet from inside the cage, placing the last dick at her feet. I quickly unlocked the cage. Sophie and their parents rushed in and dropped to their knees beside him, tears streaming down their faces.

Dominic looked at his sister, his cheeks streaked with blood and tears, and cupped her face. “Soph, I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect you from these assholes.”

Sophie pulled Dominic into a hug, her shoulders shaking as he held her. “It’s okay, Dominic. Thank you for finding them for me. For killing them for me.”

“They didn’t deserve to live.”

She cried into his chest as their parents caressed Dominic’s arm and patted his hair.

My heart squeezed in my chest at watching their family get the justice they’d been waiting for for four long months.

It might not magically make everything all right and heal Sophie, but it would certainly help them put the culprits to rest. My eyes met Sloane’s and Tara’s, knowing that each of us remembered the day we found our own justice.

The relief. The sense of peace. The transcendent feeling that felt like a rebirth. A new beginning.

That moment when my rapists breathed their last breath.

It was seared in my brain forever. It was a memory that I clung to when the monsters in my brain surged to swallow me whole.

That one memory helped me keep them at bay.

The cold, hard fact that the real monsters had ceased to exist that day.

That nobody was coming to get me. Watching them bleed out on the floor, their warm blood soaking my hands, had given my mind the ammunition that it needed to pull out of that spiral of doom and helplessness that had paralyzed me.

And I knew from the bottom of my soul that Sophie was feeling all those emotions right now. That tomorrow, she would wake up knowing that her assailants were wiped out from the face of the earth.

Leaving the Park family to cope with what happened with some privacy, I moved to Sloane and Tara. Tara had been on her laptop the whole time Dominic had been busy. I sat beside her, looking at her laptop. “You find anything?”

Her lips curled in an arrogant smile. “I found a lot of things.”

“Think it can get us the state attorney out of the picture?”

“Look at this.” She turned the laptop to me.

“This man might be worse than his son. I dug deep into his records, his past, his cases. And there’s a pretty common theme here.

This man might have killed his wife. Not just that, there have been a few reports of missing women where his name has been a suspect.

Of course, his name was cleared every time, but if it’s a pattern, there has to be some truth associated with it. ”

“Fuck.”
