36. Reyes
Chapter thirty-six
Reyes
Quietly waking Raven, she looks up at me and groans. Shushing her, I nod my head for her to follow me. Crawling out of bed, trying not to wake the other two, she walks over to me as I hand her some clothes.
“Get changed and ready, meet me downstairs when you're done.” I whisper, kissing her on the top of the head. Giving me a questioning look, she huffs out and walks off to the bathroom.
Heading down to the kitchen, I grab my phone and keys from the counter, waiting for her by the door. After about ten minutes, she comes down the stairs and I swear this woman could look sexy in a fucking burlap sack. Wearing the black jeans and purple slasher sweatshirt I picked out, she has her hair thrown in a messy bun and her eyeliner is perfectly placed. Per usual. It’s fucking unreal sometimes that I get to call all that, mine .
“Ugh, where are we going?” She questions, covering her mouth as she yawns.
“I’m taking you out, so come on.” I reply, nodding my head towards the door. Walking out, she sets the alarm and locks the door behind her.
Going up to the truck and opening the door for her, she hops in, raising a brow up at me in confusion. Chuckling, I walk to the driver side and get in. Starting the truck up and pulling out, I get on the highway and head to her favorite coffee shop.
“I hope there’s coffee involved, Sir. I don’t function well just getting up and leaving.” She glares at me, but the grin on her face says she’s not as irritated as she comes off to be.
“Don’t worry Baby Girl, I got you.” I let out a low chuckle so I don’t get punched in the arm. She always chooses violence.
Turning the radio up and reaching over, I grab her hand and intertwine our fingers together, letting them rest in her lap. The rest of the drive to the coffee shop is ridden in silence.
Pulling up, she notices and squeals. Covering my ears, I look over at her and laugh, watching her jumping out and rounding the truck before I’ve even gotten the chance to open my door.
“Ahhh, yes. I love their coffee!” She squeals again, grabbing my hand and dragging me inside. She comes here so often, the barista up front just writes her name on the cup along with her order.
“What can I get for you, sir?” The small framed brunette asks. I take a second looking at the menu then at Raven before finally I just shake my head.
“Uh, just give me what she’s having.” I give a small smile and lay down some cash to pay for our drinks.
Walking us to a table in the back, we sit and wait for our coffees to come out.
“What are your plans today, babe? I’m sure the gym first, as always. Do you have runs or anything to make?” I question, and she just shrugs.
“Yes to the gym first, as for runs, I’m not sure yet. Maybe Zeke will need help at Sirens.”
“Well, if not, I’m free most of the day. So we can just do whatever you want.” I reply back just as the girl brings our coffee to the table. Looking at Raven take a long sip of hers, I pick mine up and try it.
“What is this? It’s actually not bad. Could use some more sugar though.” I laugh. Who would have thought that I’d like some chick coffee.
“What I get here is just an iced caramel coffee, with sugar free caramel syrup and then I use almond milk instead of regular. Guess if you wanted it sweeter you could ask for more pumps of syrup. I didn’t even know you liked anything but black coffee.” She raises a brow, taking another drink.
“I do only like black coffee, but if I’m going to have it done all girly like this, I’d want it nice and sweet. Since you love it, I wanted to try.” I quip, because if she loves it, I will too.
“Well, aren’t you just the sweetest?” She chuckles, grabbing my hand in hers.
Watching her sit here, drinking her coffee with not a care in the world, I know there’s no doubt about it. I love this girl and it’s time she knew that.
“So, Baby Girl. There’s something I’ve been wanting to say for a while and I need to get it off my chest.” She furrows her brows and tries to retract her hands but I hold them tighter.
“Fuck, Little Devil. I haven’t ever said this before, so I’m sorry if it comes out rushed. I love you. Dammit, I love you more than I can put into words. I knew from the moment you walked into the shop that you were endgame for me. That one day, I’d make you my wife, and we’d have crazy little hellions running around, giving me the attitude you give us. You walked right into my life and gave me a purpose. Before you, I was just living day by day. You make me want to be more. I saw the darkness in you and it called to mine. I met my match when I met you, because you damn sure give back three times what we give you. Not only do you put up with my bullshit, but my brothers too. Did I think we’d all fall in love with the same girl? Hell no, but fuck am I glad we did. I love you so fucking much, Baby Girl.” I let out a long exhale. God I hope I didn’t just scare her off with all that. That was a whole fucking novel I just threw at her.
Seeing the tears pool in her eyes, I get up and scoot my chair closer to hers.
“When did you know you loved me?” She questions, turning and looking at me.
“The moment you held a knife to my dick, that’s when I knew. That moment definitely solidified it. Honestly though, I think I’ve loved you this whole time.” I reply, leaning over and placing a soft kiss on her lips.
“I love you too, Alejandro.” I let out a low growl at the use of my real name and she just gives me a sly smile.
“Seriously though, I love you too. I love all three of you, I just didn’t know how to say it. Like I told Luis, I’ve never loved anyone, and then to all of a sudden fall in love with three guys. I need you, all of you, in my life.” She cheers, as her face lights up. That light right there, is what I plan to keep on her face for as long as I live.
Finishing up, we dump our cups in the trash and walk back to the truck. Climbing in, she looks over at me, a devious smile pulls on her lips. Crawling over the seat and into my lap, she crashes her lips to mine in a hungry kiss, groaning as she rubs her jean covered core over my hardening cock.
Just as I’m about to unbutton her pants, a tap, tap, tap comes at the window, making Raven jump back to her seat. Thank fuck my windows are tinted enough no one can see in, or that someone was about to die. Rolling the window down, a guy is standing there, a manilla folder in hand.
“Eddie found some more info, told me to bring it to you and told me where you might be.” He informs me, handing me the folder through the window.
“Hey, I know you. You rode with Marco to help me drop my bike off a few months ago. You work for Eddie, right?” Raven questions, causing all the red flags to rear their heads.
Just nodding in return, he turns and quickly walks away. Okay, why does that seem sus? Looking over at her, she just shrugs her shoulders. I’m definitely going to be looking more into that. With all the shit we have going on, everyone is a fucking suspect.
