Chapter 24

CHAPTER 24

U h Oh!

I was in trouble. I had been bratting out a bit lately. It must be the plug in my butt. That’s it.

I am a good girl.

I followed Kyler out onto the balcony. The air was heavy and warm. The sun had disappeared behind the mountains in the distance. The sky was pitch black.

Kyler stood by the railing and stared off into space. I stood next to him and gripped the black metal railing. I leaned over and looked down at The Quadrangle below. We weren’t high up. Not like in Kyler’s penthouse.

A man walked across the quad with a young woman skipping by his side. I giggled. They approached the building we were in. I watched them until they entered below us.

I looked back at Kyler to see if he noticed the obvious Daddy and his little. His face was stoic and steely. I shuddered.

“I’m sorry, Daddy.” I stared down at my shoes. I tapped my toe against the steel railing. “I didn’t mean to be disrespectful, but Tyler was being rude, and Randall was talking like I wasn’t even in the room. They act like they know me, but they don’t, really. And Chandler was teasing me, and I don’t like him teasing me because he’s only met me a few times and Josh doesn’t even want me here in the first place. I am the guest. They should be making me feel welcome, instead they . . .”

I tilted my head, and Kyler was no longer standing next to me. I looked over my shoulders. He’d lowered himself into one of two lounge chairs on the balcony. I turned to face him.

“Are you done?” His voice was so soft I strained to hear him.

“Yes, Sir.” I inspected the top of my shoes again.

“Come here.” He motioned for me and patted his lap.

“Why?” My heart raced.

“Because I said so.”

I knew he was going to say that. I slapped my hand over my mouth. I didn’t mean to say that out loud.

“If you know, then why did you ask?” He grumbled and patted his thigh. “Here, now.” His voice was a little louder.

I skipped forward and stood in front of him. He pitched me forward and over his lap.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

He didn’t answer. He flipped the back of my dress up and gave me six slaps. Three on each cheek. He gripped the plug and pushed it in and out of my ass.

“Oh.” I squirmed in his lap. It didn’t hurt, but it didn’t feel good either. I looked back over my shoulder. From the expression on Kyler’s face, it wasn’t supposed to feel good.

Kyler flipped me back on my feet and pulled me into his lap.

“Now, that I have your attention.” He wiped a stray tear off my cheeks. “Why are you being so argumentative? Where is my sweet little Rayn Drop?”

“I can’t be sweet all the time.” I crossed my arms over my chest. “And, if that’s the kind of little you want, then this isn’t going to work.”

Kyler frowned and peered at me with those dark eyes. He gripped my forearms, and I released them and dropped them to my side.

“I’m sorry.” I whispered.

“Why are you sorry?” He signed.

“I just want them to like me, and they obviously don’t.” I pouted.

“You are right, they don’t know you, but they would like to get to know you and they are testing you.” He shrugged. “Trying to see how far they can push you.”

“Why?”

“We are all dominants except for Tyler,” Kyler face scrunched up. “But we’ve always been cautious of letting people in. Because of our position, people like to take advantage.”

“But I didn’t seek you out. No offense, but I’d never heard of you or the Grants before we met.”

“Well, we also have some questionable social skills.” Kyler smirked.

“Questionable?” I mumbled and nodded.

Kyler slapped my thigh.

“Owie.” My legs bounced.

“Regardless.” He gripped my chin. “I expect you to be respectful and polite. Just give it time.”

“Yes, Daddy.” We didn’t have much time.

Kyler pulled something out of his pocket and pitched me forward.

“What are you doing?”

He reached under my skirt and pulled the plug out.

“I think you’ve had enough of the plug for now.” He wrapped it in the wet wipe he had in his pocket. “It’s giving you a strange sort of superpower.”

“What kind of superpower?” I liked the sound if it.

“Like bratty little girl syndrome.”

My shoulders slumped. Kyler captured my chin and tilted me back. He kissed me. I grew breathless.

Kyler held me to him. I hugged him back. I enjoyed cuddling in his arms. I was going to miss it the most. Well, maybe not the most, but cuddles with Kyler were in my top five of favorite activities.

I inhaled and exhaled.

“What else is bothering you?” Kyler kissed the top of my head.

“Nothing.” I squeezed him tighter, but then I sat up. “Is Tyler a submissive?”

“What?” Kyler’s eyes narrowed.

“You said you were all dominant except Tyler.” I laid my head back on his shoulder. “Is he a submissive?”

“I don’t know.” Kyler rubbed my back. “I never asked him.”

“Does he come to the club?”

“Not to play.” Kyler rubbed his beard. “I think it is why he doesn’t live out here with us. He has his own life in New York and isn’t involved in the community.”

“Oh.”

“Oh?”

“I just think with the sassiness he gave me; he might be a little.” From the look on Kyler’s face, the idea never crossed his mine.

“He came out to us when he was like twelve years old, so I don’t know why he would keep it from us.” Kyler climbed out of the chair. He took my hand. “If he was, I can’t believe he wouldn’t have told us or asked us about it.”

“Yeah, if I wanted advice on being a little, I’d certainly come to my Daddy Dom, big brother.” I rolled my eyes, but thankfully, Kyler didn’t see me. We walked back into the suite. The guys remained seated at the dinner table in an animated discussion.

They didn’t stop when we returned. Kyler sat and watched them. A small smirk turned up the corner of his lips. He loved his brothers so much.

“Randall, why don’t you go spend some time in Europe?” Josh sipped a round glass with brown liquid in it. “It might do you good. A change of scenery.”

“I get all the scenery I need right here.” He frowned and slumped back in his chair. “Besides, Tyler’s closer.”

All the guys stopped and stared at Randall. The silence abruptly ended when all five men busted out into laughter.

It made me smile even though I wasn’t privy to the inside joke.

Kyler looked at his watch.

“Well, Rayna, I think we better get going.” He sipped from a similar glass. “You joining us?” he asked Josh.

“I have a little date myself.” He pushed away from the table. His word choice made me giggle. Little could mean any number of things.

I looked up and found Tyler staring at me with a frown on his face.

“Tyler, are you coming to the tea party?” I could feel Kyler’s eyes on me. “It sounds like fun. Kyler said they have a lot of yummy treats.”

His eyes darted around the table, and he shrugged. “Not really my scene.” But the whole table saw it. The longing in his eyes. He had a little inside of him. I felt it. He wasn’t ready to let him out. He needed a Daddy to feel safe letting his little out, or a little who understood how he felt. I made it my mission to help him.

“We should go.” Kyler stood and straightened his suit jacket. I hopped up and grabbed his arm.

“Daddy, I need to use the potty first.” I bounced on my feet.

“Right down the hall. First door on the right.” He pointed.

“Thank you, Daddy.” I kissed Kyler on the cheek and skipped toward the bathroom. I winked at Tyler as I passed.

When I returned, the guys all stood in the foyer waiting for me. Kyler held his hand out and I took it.

We all piled into the elevator. The building only had four floors. The buttons for four and ground level were pushed.

When we reached floor four. Kyler gave Randall and Tyler a hug. “You’re at least staying the night, right?”

“I guess I should let Duncan sleep.” Tyler played with the button on his cuff. “It’s probably a rule or something.”

“Yeah, it’s called an FAA regulation. You need to give your pilot eight hours of sleep between flights over four hours.” Josh spouted the rule like he’d memorized it.

Tyler shook his head.

“You want to meet for breakfast?” Josh asked. He pulled him in for a hug. Tyler hugged him back.

“If you’re up by six am.” Tyler gave Randall a more manly hug. It’s funny I picked up on Tyler’s little.

“Nice meeting you, Rayna.” Tyler waved. “You ever in the city, give me a call.” I nodded and waved back as the elevator closed. Was his request genuine or something you say, considering we were both on the east coast? Although, I’d never go into the city alone. I would have to have one of my friends come . . .

My thought trailed off as a breeze carrying the aroma of fresh cut flowers wafted past us. We walked down a short, curved corridor and into a fairyland. My mouth dropped open as I looked all around. The room was an enchanted forest that shimmered under black lights. The full trees had branches and leaves of sparkly lights that twinkled, like the song. Little round tables were set up among the foliage with white linen tablecloths and a whimsical floral arrangement in the center. Couples occupied a few of the tables. We walked through the path down a yellow brick tiled road. Kyler waved and shook hands with several Daddy’s and Mommy’s. Most of the littles were dressed up too. Some in frilly dresses or little suits with shorts for bottoms. One little boy had on a bow tie and suspenders. He kept extending them and letting them snap back. Kyler stopped to speak to his Daddy.

“Hi.” I bit my lip and look up at the little boy. He was taller than me, but not by much.

“Hi.” He waved and his eyes darted around. “This place is . . .”

“Amazing.” I finished his sentence, but we both silently agreed the word didn’t do the place justice. “I’m Rayna.”

I held my hand out.

The little boy looked up at his Daddy.

His Daddy nodded.

He took my hand. “I’m Wes.”

Kyler pulled me along. “Bye Wes.” I waved behind me. He smiled and waved back.

The rest of the Big’s and little’s were in their own world. I spotted two tables in an alcove where the little had two daddies and I heard one little calling out for her uncle at the next table to tell her Daddy to stop being mean.

Her Daddy and her uncle gave her a death stare and had her slumping in her seat with her arms crossed over her chest. I had a feeling she would regret being a brat tonight of all nights. There was so much to do and see.

“Come along, Rayna.” Kyler whispered in my ear. We sat at a table at the other end of the room. Kyler held out my chair. I looked at it and him and then at all the eyes staring at me.

I sat down and stared at my plate.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?” Kyler whispered.

“They are all staring at me.” I wanted to crawl under the table.

“Oh, Rayn Drop.” Kyler exhaled. “I should have warned you. They are staring at us, but only because you are the first little I’ve ever brought to a club event.”

I gasped.

“Rayna.” A young lady approached, holding Josh’s hand and bouncing on her heels. I wondered if she needed to go to the bathroom. And, how she knew my name. “Rayna. You look adorable. I love the dress and your hair.”

I blinked.

“Oh, my goodness.” She waved her hands. “High protocol training is torture.” Then it dawned on me. She hadn’t been there when I returned from the bathroom.

“Perhaps she’d recognize you if you were on your knees.” Kyler chuckled.

“Protocol girl.” I squeal. I stood up and hugged her.

She wore a purple tank top and a black tutu, fishnets, and combat boots. Her hair was done up in two pigtails on the side of her head and her hair ties had little bells on them that chimed when she moved, which was a lot.

She looked so different from how she had looked a few hours ago.

“You do remember.” She hugged me back. “Now I can say all the things Chandler wouldn’t let me say while I was training.”

“What did you want to say?”

“There aren’t many littles who are at the club full time.” She grabbed my hand and placed it on her heart. “Now we can be best friends.”
