Chapter 11

“Okay, sweetheart. Here’s our booth.” Razor set Honey on the bench seat before sliding in on the other side. “Let’s prop your ankle up.” He lifted her foot onto the seat next to him and draped a fresh ice pack over her ankle.

Razor had already flagged down the server to order a couple of burgers and fries.

He wanted to get something in her tummy to help offset her grogginess from the pain medicine he’d given her.

A never-ending parade of MC members working stopped by to greet Honey, including Scythe, who returned her key fob.

Razor knew they were memorizing her face so they could watch out for his Little girl in the future.

He appreciated their efforts while bristling at the interruptions of his time with Honey.

“Don’t growl at them,” Honey whispered after Dead Eye walked away.

“Sorry. I don’t share well. I’m an only child.”

“Really?”

“No. I have four sisters.”

“No way. Younger or older?”

“They’re all younger by about ten years. I think I scared my parents into no sex for a long time.”

“Really?” she squeaked again, and the sound delighted him. She was irresistible. And his.

“No. My parents are very much in love to this day. They are great role models for maintaining both an emotional and a physical relationship.”

“You definitely look at things from a different standpoint than I do,” she said, shaking her head.

“What do you mean?”

“I never think of my folks having….” Her volume dropped to a whisper after the hesitation. “Sex.”

“Do you enjoy making love?”

“It’s okay. Well, with you it was—unlike anything I’d even dreamed of experiencing.”

“We’re an explosive combination,” Razor agreed and loved her pink cheeks as she nodded with a secret smile.

“We are,” she whispered, wiggling on the seat.

Razor stabilized her leg so she wouldn’t hurt herself.

Her expressive face filled with a delicious fraction of the passion he’d noted during their previous play, and he suspected she relived an exciting moment in her mind.

He waited until she glanced up at him, enjoying the heat lingering in her eyes.

“Okay isn’t an acceptable word to describe sex, Honey. I’m sorry your lovers have lacked the skills to please you.”

She shrugged and leaned back against the seat. “I’m sure I was to blame for some of the lack of fire. My boyfriend left when I got my diagnosis. He researched the progression of MS and vamoosed.”

Her eyes widened at the string of curses that flew from Razor’s mouth. Honey smiled at him and said, “It would have been worse for him to stick around and grow to hate me when I became a burden. The future scares me as well. I just don’t have a choice. He did.”

Razor struggled to control the fury building inside him. How could any man abandon someone as precious as Honey at such a scary time? Her ex hadn’t truly loved her.

“You are not to blame for his incompetence. Making love to you is a delight. That was an asshole move on his part to leave,” Razor growled. The man deserved to face some physical challenges of his own. Perhaps karma needed to visit him sooner rather than later. “What’s his name?”

“He wasn’t a Daddy. Simply a casual boyfriend. Let it go, Razor. I have.”

He studied her face for a few seconds. “Still a complete asshole move.”

“I’ll agree to make you happy. He could have handled everything better, but looking back now, he made the right decision.”

“Two burgers with fries,” Olivia, their server, announced, interrupting the conversation.

Razor changed the subject when Olivia returned to the kitchen. “Ketchup for your fries?”

Honey shifted her fries over to create a blank space for him to squirt the bottle. “Yes, please.”

“You don’t like foods to touch?” he asked while he created a puddle for dipping.

“Oh, I’m not picky, but the fries get mushy if they’re coated.”

“So, I shouldn’t squeeze ketchup all over mine?” Razor waved the container over his plate in a zigzagging pattern.

Honey appeared horrified at the idea. “The fries always look like someone has murdered them. And your fingers get yucky.”

“Murdered, huh?” He chuckled at the visual of ketchup blood over his hands that popped into his mind. “I guess taking care of fries now falls under my Hippocratic Oath to do no harm.”

“Definitely,” she said, nodding eagerly.

“Eat, Little girl. You need nutrients to heal,” Razor ordered, and his lips quirked up in an amused smile. Honey enchanted him.

They enjoyed their meals in companionable silence for a few minutes. When she glanced at him several times in a row without saying anything, he guessed she wanted to ask him something.

“What are you thinking about, Honey?”

“On a scale of one to ten, how important is sex to you?” she blurted.

Unfortunately, at that moment, a slight pause in the music happened just as she said sex.

The heads of a lot of diners around them turned to stare at her.

Honey slid lower on the booth’s seat and gasped when she jostled her ankle.

Razor resettled her foot and reapplied the cold pack as he waited to answer until the music flowed around them once again.

He leaned toward her and said, “I like making love, Honey. But it’s best with the right person and when we both can enjoy it.

Are you worried that your health will affect our sex life? ”

She checked around, trying to see if anyone listened to their conversation. Reassured that no one was eavesdropping, Honey bent over the table as well. “Maybe we should talk about this some other time.”

“We can talk about sex any time you wish. Did I miss something when we made love earlier? Did I hurt you or make you uncomfortable?” Razor couldn’t leave it alone. This was too important.

“I’m really messing this up. I shouldn’t have said anything.”

“You can tell me anything, Honey. I need to know if I did something you didn’t enjoy.”

“No. You were amazing. I loved how you made me feel. Sex was different with you. More like….” Her voice trailed off as she visibly struggled for words to explain how she felt.

His level of concern dropped tremendously. “More like making love than sex?” he asked.

“Yes.”

“And you’re concerned it won’t always be that good?” he guessed.

“No. You’ll make it incredible for me. But what if I can’t make it that way for you?”

The pieces of the puzzle snapped into place for him. “You’re worried your MS will keep you from pleasing me?”

“Yes. Sometimes I don’t have any energy. My muscles are all wacky. I get cramps, and my legs stiffen up. Or they turn to jelly. What if that happens during sex?”

“Anyone can get leg cramps or become uncomfortable. You tell me if something happens while we’re making love. We’ll adjust positions so you’re more comfortable. Just like you would insist we do if I got a charley horse in my calf.”

“It’s that simple?” Honey asked, looking hopeful. She picked up a fry and popped it into her mouth.

“It is. Stuff happens to everyone, Little girl. The key is to talk to me. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable or be intimate with me simply because you think I’m expecting it. I plan to be buried deep inside you as often as it brings both of us pleasure.”

“But with a regular…. With a regular girlfriend, sex would be so much easier,” she protested weakly.

“You are my Little girl. That’s way beyond a regular girlfriend,” he said, emphasizing her words. “Sex is rarely easy. It’s messy, exhilarating, heart-rending, sweet, casual, explosive, right, wrong…. Do I need to keep adding adjectives?”

Honey shook her head. She took a bite of her hamburger and chewed, studying his face intently. After swallowing, she admitted, “You’re so different from anyone I’ve met before.”

“People have told me that my entire life. The question is, am I too weird for you?” Razor tried to look casual as he waited for her answer. He raised a fry to her lips. Caring for her satisfied something deep inside him.

“Of course not.” She opened her mouth to accept the treat. Honey studied him as she enjoyed it. “I have to ask. Are you sure you realize what you’re getting into? You know…. Dating a girl with an incurable disease?”

“Doctor, remember? I’ve memorized all the symptoms and possibilities. I’m also aware of the latest discoveries and medicines to fight this disease. We’ll try anything safe you wish.”

“We’ll try?” she repeated, studying his face.

“Everyone needs someone to go to important appointments with them to have another set of ears to digest the information. Or a person to bounce around the pros and cons of different treatments. Have you had a support team before? Do you have family who help?”

“Not really. My parents retired to Arizona. They’re several hours away by plane. I see them now mainly at Christmas. Not every year.”

“Why not more often?” Razor probed.

“Money and energy.”

“Gotcha. My folks are about an hour away by car. They have a gigantic home on a lake.”

“Do your sisters still live with them?”

“No, my sisters have their own houses on the other side of town in suburbia. They don’t understand the Devil Daddies MC, but they love me.”

“That’s all that matters, isn’t it?” she asked.

“It really is.” Razor reached a hand across the booth to cup her cheek. “I’m so glad I found you, Little girl.”

“Even with my….” Honey waved a hand over her body, “stuff?”

“You are perfect as you are, Honey. I don’t lie, Little girl.”

“Ever?”

“Never. It’s the fault that’s brought me the most grief in life.”

“Why?”

“Most people are uncomfortable with the truth all the time. They want the perfect illusion, even if it’s completely built on deceit and deception.”

“I like knowing you’ll tell me the truth. I’ll try to return the favor.”

“Oh, you’ll learn not to lie to me, Little girl. Your bottom won’t enjoy the consequences of poor choices.”

She swallowed hard as pink flooded her cheeks once again. He gave her a moment to digest his statement before pointing out, “Punishment spankings are much different from good girl spankings.”

“I won’t lie. Promise.”

“That would be a smart choice, sweetheart.” Razor looked forward to taking care of his Little girl in all ways.

Living as a Little for the first time would challenge Honey’s ability to submit completely.

He had no doubt she would misbehave at some point.

He would enjoy soothing his hand over her heated bottom to help her learn.
