Chapter 33

Chapter Thirty-Three

Muffled sound wakes me, my mind assuming it’s coming from the kids’ room and preparing to slip from my warm cocoon of blankets and mates to feed the baby. Blinking, I freeze when the noise comes again. Much closer than the baby monitor that sits on the bedside table.

Turning my head, I find Manny lying behind me, eyes clenched tight, and a fist pressed to his mouth. The blanket shifts where it is lumped over his legs. What… He groans again, and—Oh! Everything clicks in my sleep-muddled brain. Someone is under there, and I don’t think they’re sleeping.

Lifting the blanket, my mouth falls open when I watch Shepherd swallow Manny’s length, his nose brushing the other man’s pelvis. That’s… really hot!

I startle when a hand brushes through my hair; the blanket falls from my hand and hides my Alpha from view.

Manny grips the back of my skull and drags me closer, lips melding with mine in hungry kisses.

I swallow his moans, legs shifting as wetness builds between them.

I don’t think I’m ready to try anything down there, but I can enjoy this moment by helping Shepherd take care of Manny.

He jolts when my fingers skim his ribs. They’re cold compared to his skin, but the dichotomy of the two sensations seems to turn him on. So, I keep going. Trailing them up his chest and circling his dark nipples. The whimper that passes from his mouth to mine fills the air with groans.

Lips feather over the back of my hand before a tongue laps at Manny’s skin near my fingers. Peeking down, I find Foster awake and joining in our torment. He winks at me, taking Manny’s nipple between his teeth and making him arch beneath us.

“Mierda,” Manny whines, turning away from our kisses to catch his breath. He’s flushed, and a needy look fills his violet eyes.

Foster grips my chin and turns my head so his lips can press to mine.

Our tongues tangle between us, and we grin when Manny curses in Spanish, too rapidly for us to follow.

He joins us, splitting our kiss three ways.

It’s messy and awkward, but none of us pulls away.

Not until the blanket shifts and Shepherd pops out, fist wrapped around Manny’s dick.

The tip is a furious shade of purple, and pre-cum streams down the side, helping our Alpha’s hand glide along his length.

“Mmmm, look at the three of you,” Shepherd growls, “my gorgeous mates.”

I watch his hand rhythmically pulse as he drags Manny’s dick through it, earning another drawn-out curse from our mate. “Come help me devour our sexy Beta. You can handle all our attention, can’t you, Amorcito?”

Manny’s eyes widen, darting between the three of us before he gives us a shaky nod. I crawl down to join Shepherd, mouth watering at the scent of our combined arousal in the air. Citrusy, woody, and sweet. It’s a heavenly combination.

Dropping to my stomach, I lean over Manny’s thigh and meet Foster where he’s lapping up pre-cum. We get lost in exploring his length with our tongues, eyes glued to each other, and mouths occasionally brushing. This is easily the hottest experience of my life.

Shepherd threads his hands through our hair and gently tugs us back.

“No more teasing; we’re running out of time.

” Foster takes Manny deep into his throat, earning a yelp from the other man with the sudden sensation.

Shepherd guides my hand down to play with Manny’s heavy balls, and then his lips are there, too.

Seconds later, Manny’s body tenses before he throws his head back and howls out his release.

Foster works him through it, while Shep and I shift our hands to massage his calves and thighs.

When Manny is trembling and begging our Omega to stop, Foster leans up and brings his mouth to mine. I can taste the salty, earthy flavor of our mate’s release on his tongue. He winks as he shifts to share the flavor with our Alpha, too.

I’m breathless, incredibly turned on, and a little confused about how to act. Then, a wail splits the air. Laughter bubbles between us as I slip from the bed and silence the baby monitor. “Perfect timing.”

Everett is still latched and nursing when Shepherd peeks into the room.

Kaitlin is half-awake, sitting up in her bed.

I don’t think she’s decided whether she wants to go back to sleep or be up for the day.

“Morning, Princess.” He brushes a kiss to her hair before leaning against the edge of the bed and turning to me.

“After breakfast, we want to take you to see the house. Before we pack the rest of our stuff tonight and move tomorrow.”

Giddiness fills me, an excitement my little bug shares as she starts jumping on the bed and cheering. “Okay, let me finish feeding Ev, then I’ll grab a shower.”

He nods, sweeping Kait off her feet and flinging her back onto the mattress so he can tickle her. She squeals and giggles, crawling away before jumping back in his arms and asking him to do it again. Her laughter is the best music to start our day.

“Let’s go see what Manny is making us to eat,” he suggests, swinging her onto his back and trotting over to brush his lips against mine.

He runs a finger over the baby’s cheek, and then they are gone.

I glance around the room, a little sad to say goodbye to this space.

We need a bigger house, but so many important things happened here.

This is where we found our fresh start. Discovered unconditional love and a pack that deserves us.

The rooms may change, but the memories will always remain. As long as I have my mates and my kids, I don’t care where we end up.

Two and a half hours later—because leaving on time with a baby and small child never happens—we’re driving through Starburgh.

My eyes are glued out the window, curiosity building as we pass more streets.

When they turn out of the city, heading toward my sister’s house, my brows pinch.

Are we going to visit Omen first? Not that I care either way, I love any excuse to see her.

We turn onto her road, and I’m not the only confused party in the car. Kaitlin pats my shoulder and asks, “Momma, where is we going?”

“You’ll see in a minute, Princess,” Shepherd reassures her. His hand returns to my thigh, where he’s had it for the entire drive. Feeling his thumb rubbing circles against my leggings has driven me wild. I’m still not used to these casual touches.

Omen’s house passes out the window, and anticipation builds low in stomach.

Three miles later, Shep turns on the signal and steers us down a long driveway on the lakeside of the road.

An eight-foot privacy fence runs the length of the property, multi-colored wood with black metal posts.

A large gate blocks the drive, but opens when Shepherd presses a button I hadn’t noticed above the rearview mirror.

As the trees thin, my breath catches. Hidden at the back, on a small hill that leads down the beach, is a humongous farmhouse.

The exterior is a mix of the same wood and black metal as the fence and gate.

It’s gorgeous. A blend of rustic and modern that somehow perfectly encapsulates my taste and the guys’.

Shepherd pulls us to a stop in front of a sleek two-car garage and meets my eye in the rearview. “Welcome home, Wildfire.”

Tears fill my eyes, and a laugh tumbles from my lips as I throw my door open and meet him in front of the car. My arms wrap around his neck, mouth slamming against his. I can’t believe they bought a house so close to my sister! And not just any house, the house!

I hear Manny’s car shut off when he parks beside us, and I step back from my Alpha to wipe my face. Another laugh cuts through the air when Kaitlin beats on her window and glares at me. How dare I not let her out before celebrating!

“I’ve got you, Princesa.” Manny steps in and unbuckles her, while Foster unlatches the baby’s car seat. They make sure I have nothing to do but enjoy every detail of our new home.

The small front porch is empty, but pretty big.

Parts of the house wrap around it, giving it a bit of seclusion.

Large, dark oak double doors swing open when Shepherd unlocks them, giving me my first taste of the inside.

Holy high ceilings! They have to be at least twenty feet!

We’re in what looks like a living area. It’s well lit, with a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows along the back.

The guys’ lead me away from them and into the kitchen to our right.

It’s drool-worthy with dark appliances, a deep-basined sink, and an island with tall stools running along the side closest to us.

Windows run the length of both walls, letting in the same natural light as the living room. Cooking here will be a dream!

“We’re standing in the dining area,” Shepherd tells me as he guides me to a hallway that leads off the kitchen. There are only three doors here. One leads to a huge pantry, and the next two are a bedroom and bathroom. It’s nice to have a space for guests that isn’t on the same wing as our rooms.

“Okay, Princesa, ready to see your room?” Manny asks, swinging their hands back and forth. I follow the two of them back through the living room to another hallway. It splits, leading straight and left. “Down there is the garage and the kids’ bathroom. Over here is a very special room.”

He pushes the door open to reveal a big, blank room. “Your playroom.”

Kaitlin takes in the space with wide, skeptical eyes. “But there’s no toys?”

Foster chuckles, leading her to the next door.

He shifts Everett in his carrier, having switched to that when we arrived.

“Yet! We’ll bring them with us tomorrow.

Now, this room is even more special! Are you ready?

” She jumps and nods, shouting “yes!” A pink, sparkly dream awaits us inside. “A room befitting our princess!”

Across the hall are another empty bedroom and a nursery.

There isn’t much furniture inside, since we still have all of Ev’s things at the apartment.

Whoever they hired to paint the walls added a gray-scale forest mural along the back wall, balancing out the navy blue in the rest of the room.

Having the baby in his own room will be an adjustment.

Especially when I realize the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs.

The second floor is smaller, composed of only four rooms. All meant for my mates and me. “We thought we could use the room by the nursery for any nights one of us needs space to ourselves,” Foster explains as he walks us into the master bedroom.

“We sleep together every night anyway,” I reply, walking around the edge of the room. Tan walls, dark beams running across the ceiling, and large windows. It’s wonderful, and definitely big enough for a pack-sized bed.

A door across from the bedroom leads to a walk-in closet as big as the nursery downstairs. For the right pack, even this space wouldn’t be enough, so I understand why it’s as large as it is. Four people sharing a small closet would be a disaster.

Of the last two rooms, one is the nest, which remains closed at Foster’s demand.

It isn’t complete, not without the boxes and bags waiting at the apartment.

None of us complains, knowing that it is his safe space and he’ll reveal it when he’s ready.

The other is the master bathroom. It’s… stunning.

A tub large enough to fit all four of us takes up the entire back wall, calling me to soak and enjoy the jets scattered around the edge.

I give it a longing look as we head back to the first floor. “Tomorrow night, promise,” Shepherd whispers against my ear, grinning when I blush from neck to ear. I suppose I wasn’t keeping my longing secret, not with it written on my face.

“One more surprise, Princess! Well, technically two.” Foster grins, wiggling his brows as he walks us to the back door. A wooden deck runs the length of the living room and kitchen, complete with a large grill built in at the far end.

Kaitlin shrieks, nearly tossing herself out of Shepherd’s arms when she spies their surprise.

He sets her onto her feet, laughing when she flies across the deck and out into the yard where they’ve built her a house-themed playground with swings and two different slides.

What catches her attention most is the trampoline buried in the ground.

Laughter floats through the air as she kicks her shoes off and starts jumping.

“You’ve made her whole year,” I tease, wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my head on his chest. “Thank you. For everything.”

His palm is warm as it runs up my back. “She’s a kid; she needs kid-friendly spaces. And memories to last a lifetime. You all do.”

Manny joins Kait, sending her bouncing extra high and making her giggle like crazy.

Foster looks torn, obviously wanting to join them, so I slip away from Shepherd and help him out of the baby carrier.

Our little man needs to eat, anyway. Taking a seat on the steps of the deck, I help Everett latch and watch as my mates entertain my little bug.

Shep sits on the step above me, knees framing my back so I can lean against him.

Life might not be perfect, but I can’t imagine being anywhere else. These men are my home. Now that I’ve found them, I won’t let my family or my ex take us from them.

When Kaitlin gets worn out, the guys lead us down to the beach to show us the last surprise—a large fire pit and a small dock for fishing and swimming. Sunlight dances on the water, making the oranges and reds of the reflected leaves brighter.

This is paradise.
