Chapter 39
“Stone texted. He’s headed back from Stoneyville.” I flop down on the couch.
“What the fuck was he doing there?” Cade growls.
“Knowing him, who knows.” Zin responds.
“What did you fuckers get, princess?” Atti asks, walking in, sitting next to me.
Pussy whipped fucker. I chuckle.
He turns to look at me. “What?”
“Nothing, man.” I smile. “You know I got her something.”
“Your dick doesn’t count.” Zin shoots out.
“Why not?” I grin before looking at Cade.
“How’d she taste?” He just smirks back at me.
The front door opens, and in walks the little harlot and her minion.
“Hey, princess. Have fun?” Atti asks.
“Yes, a lot, actually.” She smiles, and it’s the most genuine one she has had all week.
“What did you get?” I ask.
“You’ll see.” She winks.
I fucking love her sexy ass.
“Alright, babe. I’m out of here. I’ll see you Friday.” She kisses Lux’s cheek and Zin growls like a rabid dog.
Jo walks over, leaning down in Zin’s face, thumping his nose.
“Bad dog.”
We all bust out laughing at her antics. She walks back over to Lux, says her goodbyes and leaves.
“One day, I’m going to bite her ass.” He mumbles.
“No, you won’t,” little harlot tells him.
“Why not?” He cocks an eyebrow.
“You would hurt me if you hurt her. Plus, we both know you wouldn’t hurt me, right?” She cocks her eyebrow right back.
He just smiles at her.
The front door opens before Stone walks in. He walks over to her, kissing her. He gives Cade that “I have info and it”s bad” look.
“Little harlot, I need you to be ready in an hour. We got a date.” I state.
“Is that so? What if I already have plans?” The little minx thinks she is funny.
“We both know you don’t.”
“Where are we going?” I turn to look at Zin and wink.
“The carnival.” Her eyes light up before she takes off up the stairs.
“What’s wrong?” Cade asks.
“Stopped by Kev’s and there’s no sign of him. There was some blood on the floor, but not enough for concern.” Stone lights up his J, before passing it over to Atti.
“Where the fuck is he? We need to find him, and fast.” Cade slams his fist down on the table as we all nod.
“Let’s get to work.” Zin says, standing up and heading up the stairs.
“Har. Keep your eyes open while you’re out.” I nod at Cade. “Carnival, huh.”
I just smirk as I head up the stairs.
It’s twin time.
Walking into my bedroom, I smell cherry blossoms.
What the fuck.
I hear footsteps outside my door, turning around I see Zin standing there.
“You smell that too?” Zin asks.
I nod. “What the fuck, man.”
“I know. Someone is fucking with us,” He says before walking away.
I got a date to get ready for, but I’ll let the guys know before we head out.
It’s packed tonight, but that’s a good thing. Means we can blend in more. I have my arm around my girl, and Zin is holding her hand. We’ve been here for three hours, riding every ride and showing her the best time.
“Want to ride more, Little Light,” Zin questions.
“No, I’m starving. Can we get Shelia’s?” We lock eyes, before laughing.
“You can have anything you want, little harlot.” Kissing her.
“Anything, huh?” She looks between us, and I know she’s up to something.
Looking over at my brother, I can see he is thinking the same thing.
“What do you want, Little Light?” My brother asks our girl.
“I’ll let you know, but right now, food.” We all laugh, heading out of the carnival.
Just before we reach the gate, something catches my eye. When I look closer, I catch a glimpse of blond hair and blue eyes.
Is that? It can’t be.
Rushing towards the girl, but when I reach the spot, she’s gone.
“You good, bro?” Looking over at them, I nod.
I could have sworn it was her.
We pile into the car before pulling out of the lot. Lux connects to the bluetooth, putting on her music.
Wild Ones By Jessie Murph and Jelly Roll.
The music blares through the speakers. She loves Jessie’s music. I bought her tickets to see her in concert for her birthday.
“Cool if we make a detour before we go to the diner?” I ask.
She bites her lower lip and my dick stirs. She nods and I look over at Zin with a grin. Twenty minutes later, we pull into the cemetery.
“Okay, this isn’t creepy at all.” Her voice is low and I can hear the panic setting in.
“Don’t worry. We want to introduce you to someone.” Zin parks the car, shutting off the engine.
We all climb out, heading towards the only other person in this world we have cared about.
Will she hate us when the truth comes out? When she finds out about the deal?
Walking up to the plot that reads Addriana James.
