Sorry it’s been wild.

Wanted to say miss you.

“Cohen, hurry up and clock out. The game’s about to start.”

Snapping my head up, Levi grins across the bar, holding up two beers.

“Yeah…sorry. I’ll be right there,” I say, glancing back at my phone.

“Good. Order some wings, too. I’m starving.”

I watch him walk toward an empty table right in front of the TV, my thumbs hovering over the keypad before typing my reply and pocketing my phone.
