Chapter 15

A typical Saturday night at Lustz. Usually, I looked forward to work, but I was still somewhat distracted by Cristiana being at home and still in pain.

She was mending, and the reduction went way better than I hoped when done while she was unconscious.

I stayed home with her for almost forty-eight hours until I had to leave for work tonight.

Luckily, our friends knew I would be worried, and the ladies had come over to have girl time this evening with her.

It was Cady, Tajah, Sharlena, Victoria, and Alex.

Tamara was watching baby Matea to allow Tajah some relaxation time as well.

They kicked me out and told me not to worry.

My woman was laughing as I pretended to pout as I left.

I hadn’t told her I had a gathering of my own tonight. I’d secretly arranged for Mikhail, Hoss, Carver, Matvey, Iker, and Sawyer to meet me at Lustz for a meeting. It had nothing to do with the club. Now that I knew Cristiana was on the mend, I wanted to find Fisher and make the bastard pay.

Over the last day and a half, Cristiana had shared the details on what Fisher had done and exactly who he was. I knew a man like him wouldn’t stop. He’d keep coming until he found her. I wasn’t about to allow that to happen.

Freddy was working as the floor manager tonight.

He knew to contact me if there was something urgent.

Otherwise, he’d leave me alone while we had our huddle.

To ensure absolute privacy, we stayed in Mikhail’s old apartment on the third floor of Lustz.

We were gathered at the table in the kitchen.

Mikhail had acted as host and made sure anyone who wanted a drink had one.

With that out of the way, it was time to talk and plan.

“Talk before you explode. I’m amazed you lasted this long. Tell us who the son of a bitch was, who made Cristiana jump from her second-story window,” Mikhail growled.

“Yeah, who do we get to kill?” Matvey asked, smiling and rubbing his hands.

His main bodyguard, Konstantin, was in the room.

He wasn’t in the apartment to protect his boss from us.

He was there to listen. His usual silent twin, Nikita, was with Victoria.

There were other guards outside at both locations.

No one would take a chance on the Bratva Pakhan or his wife being harmed.

“Hold on, you bloodthirsty svoloch'. For those not Russian, that means bastard.” Mikhail smirked.

“Takes one to know one, dvoyurodnyy brat.” Matvey smiled back. I knew that meant cousin.

As Mikhail chuckled, I got started. “Fisher is a man whom Tiana met back home near Memphis. He was brought to the club she was a member of as a guest of another patron. It seems he was instantly taken with Tiana and approached her. He wanted her to be his submissive, even though he wasn’t a patron.

She was polite and declined the invitation.

He kept following her around and watching her that night. ”

“The club let him target her and did nothing?” Sawyer asked in outrage.

“No, not the club. That night, after she declined his request, he kept his distance but kept watching her. She didn’t say anything to anyone about it.

And before you ask how he acted going forward, that’s where it gets weird, then scary.

The club declined his request to become a patron.

He was allowed in that one night, and that was it. ”

“So he targeted her outside of the club,” Iker said.

“Yep. It seems she began to see him here and there in public places, where it wouldn’t be odd to run into someone.

She assumed at first that she merely had never noticed him before, because she had no idea who he was.

She saw him at the grocery store, the drugstore, and a restaurant.

And they happened so far apart, she didn’t pay attention.

He would say hello or whatever, but didn’t push. ”

“How long did that last?” Mikhail asked.

“Two months. Then she thought she saw him outside one day when she left a client’s office.

She generally works from home, but occasionally she’ll go to a client’s office or meet with a prospective one at a restaurant or their place of business.

She wasn’t sure it was him, so she discounted it.

Until she came out of her apartment one day, and he was parked in the parking lot.

He hailed her and struck up a conversation.

When she asked who he was there to see, he was vague.

That was what made her start to pay attention every time she left her place.

” I paused to take a breath. Even talking about it made me angry.

“Let me guess, when she went to the cops, they said he hadn’t done anything to warrant arrest or even a restraining order,” Hoss grunted.

“You got it. And even if a judge believed her and issued a restraining order, it was a piece of paper. Until he broke the law by hurting her or trespassing, then it was out of their hands,” I explained.

“Does she know you’re tracking the fucker down and what’ll happen to him when we get our hands on him?” Mikhail asked.

“Actually, she does, and surprisingly, she’s okay with it.

She said a year ago she wouldn’t have, but after seeing what the police can’t do, she doesn’t have faith they’ll do anything with him.

And she said this time, she knew, without a doubt, he was planning to kidnap her if he had to.

Rape, beatings, and more were on his mind.

Tiana told me she saw the obsession had grown.

She saw it in his eyes. She told me there was no way she’d submit, so eventually, he’d kill her.

Tiana went out the window because dying was preferable to landing in his grasp.

” Thinking of Cristiana as dead made me stop.

“We won’t allow that to happen. I’ll assign one of my men to her at all times until this khuyesos, that means cocksucker, is dealt with,” Matvey vowed.

“And I have men we can have stand as bodyguards as well. Plus, I can get my people to see what they can find on this guy,” Iker offered.

“If she needs an escort or whatever, I’ll help,” Sawyer added.

I looked around the table at these men. Some I might’ve only recently met and befriended, but they were already becoming good friends.

“Thanks. I appreciate it more than you know. I wanted to ask if we should see if Outlaw can do his magic, if he has time, and see if he can locate the bastard. If he can dig anything up, like frequent places he goes or close friends, that would be even better. If I were Fisher Adams, I’d be hiding out, worried she’ll sic the cops on me.

I want to know where he is. The sooner he’s dealt with, the better,” I explained.

“Outlaw will find it or ask one of his other biker computer wizards to do it. They help each other out. Other than his name, does Cristiana know anything else about Adams?” Mikhail asked. He had his cellphone out.

“She said he was from Fisherton, which is an area about thirty miles from downtown Memphis. She told me it’s a rural, unincorporated area.

She knows because he told her after she realized it wasn’t accidental that she kept seeing him.

She asked where he lived. He’s thirty-seven. Again, she knows because he told her.”

“That’ll be a piece of cake for Outlaw,” Mikhail muttered as he tapped away. I noticed Iker was doing the same on his phone.

“Did she say anything to this guy when he was trying to beat down the doors about her having a boyfriend?” Carver asked. He’d remained quiet this entire time, but it wasn’t unusual. Carver tended to observe. I thought it was what made him the outstanding lawyer he was.

“Not that I know of, why?” I asked.

“Well, if he’s obsessed, then knowing she was with someone else would drive the guy crazy. If he’s holed up, letting that information become common knowledge might cause him to come out of hiding. God knows it made Reef crazy knowing Alexandra was with me,” Carver explained.

I recalled he was right. Reef had been a male sub at Lustz who did scenes a few times with Alex.

When she cut him loose, the guy had become a stalker and tried to take her.

Tajah had issues with a Dom at Lustz, too.

Hell, hearing this made one believe that everyone who was a patron of a kink club was mentally unstable, but it was far from the truth. A few bad ones tainted us all.

“He somehow found out she was here. How? I have no clue. It’s recent knowledge, or he would’ve made a move months ago.

If we could figure out how he found out, it might help.

I asked Tiana, who knows back home where she moved to, meaning the exact address.

She said only her family knows. It’s possible that they told someone, such as a family friend, and Adams found out.

However, I don’t know how. He has no direct connection to her family. ”

“If the leak came from them, then them knowing about you could do the trick. People talk. All they’d have to do is tell the right person Cristiana has a man, and it could get back to him,” Hoss agreed.

“Has she told them about the two of you?” Iker asked.

“Not yet, but there’s a family party this weekend for her parents’ anniversary. She asked me to come with her so she could introduce me. I told her I’ll go. I guess it’ll serve more than one purpose.”

“Do they know about this Fisher Adams?” Carver asked.

“No, they don’t. She was afraid that if she mentioned it, her dad, brothers, and brother-in-law would go after him.

She was protecting them from potential harm or jail.

She wasn’t keen to tell them how she met him, either.

Her family has no idea she’s into anything kinky, let alone is a member of a club. ”

“Damn. What will you two say when they ask how you met?” Hoss asked.

“We haven’t decided. After the disaster that happened when we told my family, she’s scared to tell them. I think we should just rip the bandage off and go for it. The longer we wait, the worse it’ll be. She can’t hide it forever,” I shared.

This revelation prompted them all to share their thoughts on whether to confess it all or wait.

The consensus was we should get it over with.

We banded about the ways someone could’ve slipped up, and Fisher Adams discovered where she was.

The truth was, we had no clue. Once that died down, it was time to wrap up the meeting.

“I’ll call the club she was a member of in Memphis. I’ll pretend that Adams is trying to join mine, and that I heard he had been turned down for theirs. I bet they’ll tell me why,” Mikhail offered.

“Great idea. While you do that, I’ll help Reuben organize a schedule for someone to keep an eye on Cristiana. Since she now lives with you, do you want someone there only when she’s alone at your place and out of the flat? Or around the clock?” Iker asked.

“I’m good with one whenever I’m not with her.

I’m not sure what that’ll be like. I’ll work with Tiana to set up what she thinks her schedule will be every week.

If anything changes, we’ll let you know so coverage can be arranged.

Matvey, if your offer still stands and your guys are willing to let Iker be the scheduler, I think that would be the easiest.”

“My offer certainly stands. I will have Konstantin coordinate with Iker. You can exchange numbers before we leave.” Matvey glanced at his silent bodyguard, who nodded once.

Glancing at the clock, I smirked. “I’d better get back to work. My boss is a surly asshole. He’ll dock my pay or fire me for taking more than an hour break.”

“Goddamn right, I will, you lazy bastard,” Mikhail chimed back without missing a beat.

Everyone cracked up. When we settled, I stood.

I felt better already, now that there was a plan.

We could fill in as we went or make changes if we thought they were needed.

The others came to their feet. I took time to shake everyone’s hand and thank them, including Konstantin’s.

They were all still talking about shit as I headed out the door and to the elevator.

Before finding Freddy to see how it had gone, I took time to text Tiana. I wanted to see how she was doing and if the ladies were with her. Her reply assured me not to worry, that she was fine, and they were still enjoying their girl time. I left it at that and went in search of Freddy.
