Chapter 52
CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO
Leviathan
Apossessive snarl escaped my lips when I saw Seraphina leap at some daemon scum and wrap her legs around his face, stabbing him in the head. “Seraphina! Get your perfect pussy away from that fucker’s mouth!”
The daemon in question dropped to the dirt, blood pissing from his head and my girl straddling him with a grin. I snatched her arms, pulling her off of him, and cupped between her legs like a domineering animal. “The only mouths that are allowed so close to your pretty pussy are your mates’.”
She laughed, tousling my shaggy hair and rolling her hips against my hand. “I didn’t really think the plan through. I just thought, how can I kill this prick and have fun at the same time?”
Ty landed next to me, his leathery wings folded at his back. His horns were curled and ribbed like a ram, and all I could think about was gripping them while he fucked me into oblivion.
He winked at me, a knowing smirk on his face, then turned and set the body of the daemon Seraphina nearly face-fucked on fire. “No more cunt-to-face ninja moves, pet. Or I’ll be forced to get out the paddle.”
Seraphina leapt into the sky to rejoin Phen in his fight with Belial. “Don’t threaten me with a good time.”
The battle was officially in our favor, but our biggest threats needed to be turned to ash. I clamped my hand on Ty’s shoulder. “Shall we go kill my father?”
My brother-in-arms and mate for eternity grinned like the daemon he was, and we stalked Samuel Delano through the bloody field of bodies.
Gremory was off to our right, his fighting more ferocious than ever.
Delphine was not on the field, which was concerning, but perhaps she was with the healers.
Since our arrival, we hadn’t had much time for small talk.
I watched from several feet away as my father dispatched a member of the Umbra Noctis with ease.
James, Ty’s gym manager and friend, rushed Samuel, and I heard Ty cry out as the man attacked my father.
We started to run, refusing to let the villains of our lives take another creature we cared for from this world.
Samuel was seconds away from bringing James down when Ty lashed a whip around my father’s neck and yanked hard. He cried out, falling to his knees, but recovered quickly. James nodded to us and moved on to find a new opponent.
“Well, if it isn’t my disappointing son and his dim-witted bodyguard,” Samuel taunted, bringing air into his palms and preparing to fight. “When will you ever learn to fight your own battles? Can’t take me on your own?”
Once upon a time, his words held more weight. He manipulated me, taunted and dragged me with his words, and I let them hold power over my actions, my soul. But no longer.
Fire burned through my veins, coating my skin in a deadly heat. I relished the fire, as it was always my fascination, and became my sanctuary. The flames listened to my every command, and now they would burn the man I should have destroyed sooner.
“That’s always been your problem, Samuel.” I smirked at him, unaffected. “You’ve never known true companionship. I could kill you on my own, but why deprive my brother, my mate, of the privilege of causing you pain?”
Samuel’s eye twitched, a subtle sign of his discomfort. “You’re too weak to even try. Go on, send the dullard away and face me like a ma—”
His words were cut off by Ty whipping him again and again until the man’s flesh peeled from his bones and blood coated the dirt at his feet.
Samuel snarled and fought, finally catching one of Ty’s legs with a whip of air and sending him flying.
But I wouldn’t give him time to recover.
I grabbed my father from behind, holding him in an unbreakable hug.
“Come, father, no more words. I want to hear you scream,” I purred into his ear, letting fire consume us both.
I’d mastered the elemental power of fire more quickly than any other, and it was stronger than the air power he favored. Samuel screamed as he tried to break free of me, but I was his reaper and he would not escape this battlefield alive.
Ty returned, rage in his eyes and a smug smile on his face. My flames would never harm him, and he stepped up to my father, a stellatium blade in hand.
He peeled away the scraps of clothing still covering Samuel’s body.
The flames licked at his flesh while he screamed.
“This is for every time you forced horrid experiments on us.” Ty stabbed him in the chest. “This is for thinking you could take Seraphina from us.” Ty stabbed him in the gut.
“And this is for letting vile beings rape Levi to help you gain power.” Ty snarled the last words and sliced my father’s dick clean off.
The high-pitched scream that left my father’s lips was one of pure agony and gave me an unholy amount of satisfaction.
Blood pissed from his mutilated junk, his belly, and his chest. His skin was bubbly and charred.
The pain of it all was clear on his face.
I shouldn’t have enjoyed this, but I did.
Samuel Delano was one of the worst people I’d ever known. And his cruelty was at an end.
When the screaming stopped, Ty and I smiled grimly at each other. “Finally,” I sighed. “Thank you, brother.”
Ty pulled me into his arms and hugged me fiercely. “I wish I could bring him back and do it over and over again. Killing him once wasn’t enough for what he put us through. For what he did to you.”
I shook my head. “Once was enough. The real treat will be to move on with our mates, together, and never think of him again.”
Ty nodded, and we turned to the others, only to see Andras and Dev battling Laszlo with everything they had. Three kings down, one to go.
