Chapter 29
And just like that, the engines go quiet.
Full Send was never only about motorcycles.
It was about being brave enough to choose the thing that scared you anyway.
Bexley had to be brave enough to leave Christian, then brave enough to trust a man she knew had the power to hurt her.
Lena and Reign had to let each other in while both of them were still carrying the grief of Cruz, learning that loving someone new didn’t erase who they lost. Thorne had to stop caring what everyone else might think long enough to admit what he felt for Wolfe.
Echo had to go searching for a family she had never known, knowing she might not find what she hoped for when she got there. And Cece had to learn that being chased didn’t always mean being left once the chase was over.
Different fears. Different risks. Same choice.
To stop letting the worst thing that ever happened decide what happened next.
That’s what the Speed Demons became to me.
A bunch of reckless, stubborn, loud-as-fuck people who found each other somewhere between the crashes, the races, the bad decisions and all the shit they were trying to outrun.
They loved hard. They fucked up. They hurt. They healed.
And when it mattered, they stayed.
Maybe that’s what Full Send was always supposed to mean.
Not living without fear.
Living in spite of it.
Taking the risk when there’s no guarantee it works out. Loving people knowing they can hurt you. Choosing family when you’ve spent your whole life believing you’re better off alone.
Because you can spend forever standing at the edge waiting until you aren’t scared anymore.
Or you can jump.
So to everyone who rode with the Speed Demons from the first page to the last, thank you.
The garage doors might be closing here, but I like to think somewhere out there the engines are still running, somebody is talking shit, somebody else is making a terrible decision, and Andre is already getting a headache.
They’ve got it from here.
One last time.
Hold on tight.
Love hard.
Take the risk.
And whatever comes next—
FULL SEND.
