He went to her, turned her to face away from him and began to unbutton the shirtwaist she had worn for traveling. “I’d like to discuss my lovely, sweet, delectable wife and how much I love her.”
“I like that topic. Please proceed.”
Smiling, he kissed the curve of her neck that had held him in thrall from the day they met.
Knowing that glorious neck and every other part of her belonged to him and him alone was the best thing in his life.

“I’ll allow that. Continue.”
Aubrey laughed at her witty reply. “I love her gorgeous neck and her creamy white skin.” One garment at a time, he revealed her to his hungry gaze.
