Chapter 24
CHAPTER
TWENTY-FOUR
Rain
“You ready?” Ridge asks as he leans against the jamb of the bathroom doorway.
I fasten my earrings before turning to him. “I am. How do I look?”
His eyes rake over my body as he takes me in. I can see the desire in his eyes. He likes what he sees.
Why wouldn’t he, though?
Slowly, I turn and lift my hair so he can see the back of my jacket. The low growl he lets out tells me he knows what I’m wearing.
Tonight is the reopening of the club-owned bar to the public. We are going to show our support and have a few drinks with our friends. It’s also the first time I decided to wear my Property of Ridge jacket in public. It’s a big step to take, one that I know he understands the gravity of.
“You look gorgeous. Those jeans were made for your body.”
His voice sounds like he choked on gravel. When I meet his eyes, I can see him fighting with himself. He wants to go to this thing, but he also wants to ravish me. While I usually wouldn’t mind, the girls will be waiting.
“Thank you. Let’s get going.”
He mumbles something as I pass him, but I ignore it. It’s not until we are in the garage that I turn and look at him again. I hide my smile when I see his cock pushing against his jeans.
“Laugh it up. I don’t mind waiting, but you know what happens when I wait too long.”
I lick my lips thinking about the number of orgasms he’s given me all in the name of some punishment for a minor infraction. Let’s just say I don’t mind.
I fasten my helmet as he does the same before he climbs onto the bike. I take my spot behind him, and off we go. He takes a leisurely pace, his hand resting on my thigh for most of it. It feels so possessive, but in the best possible way, like he is telling the world that I belong to him.
I hold him tighter, loving the feel of his body against mine. I could live in this moment with him forever. Us on his bike, the wind in our hair, happiness the only thing on our minds.
All too soon, the ride comes to an end as he pulls into the bar’s parking lot.
I’m not surprised to see the place already packed.
The locals like hanging out at the place.
The drinks are reasonably priced, and the company is good.
It helps that most of the patrons are people the club has helped in the past. It makes the place feel more like home.
When we step off the bike, Ridge walks over to a prospect.
“You keep an eye out. Sound the alarm if you see anything,” I hear him tell the kid.
The kid nods in confirmation before Ridge reaches out his hand to me. Without hesitation, I slip mine into his and let him lead me into the bar.
Inside, the atmosphere is wild. The TVs are all playing different sports while the jukebox plays classic rock.
Club girls walk around serving drinks while a few man the bars as well.
What is wild is how packed it is. There is barely room to move.
Ridge moves me in front of him and cages me in his arms as he guides us through the crowd to where the VIP section is.
As soon as I see Aspen, I pull out of his arms and run into hers.
“It’s crazy in here,” Aspen yells to be heard over the noise.
“It is. This is one hell of a reopening,” I call back to her.
She nods, pulling me over to where she, Kim, Lisa, and Maggie are sitting. The guys are all chatting around the little section they have roped off for us.
“This is better than we hoped for. I guess word got out about the real reason the bar burned down, and people decided to show up. Panther has been talking to people all night because they want to thank him for the good the club has done for them. I guess this is their way of repaying it,” Maggie tells me.
“Wow. I mean, the community is great, but this is more than anyone could have expected. Are we even meeting code? It seems like too many people,” I tell them.
“The guys are slowly getting people to leave. By the time we realized how many people were here, it was too late,” Kim adds.
“How is everything else going with all of you?” I ask.
Kim gives me a small smile. “Making it.”
“Surviving,” Lisa echoes as they give each other a sad smile.
“Things are good with Panther. We are really interested in you. I see you have your jacket on,” Maggie teases.
“Yeah. Wolf and I are great as always. Tell us more about you and Ridge.” Aspen leans forward, prompting the rest of the girls to do the same.
“Why are you so invested in our relationship?” I laugh.
“It’s like reality TV. We have nothing better going on in our lives at the moment, so let us live through you.” Aspen steeples her hands like she’s begging.
I roll my eyes at her. “I don’t know what you want me to say. We are married. It’s going well. Really well, actually.” My cheeks blush as I remember the way he brought me to pleasure over and over again last night. “I think we are past the rocky parts and onto the honeymoon phase.”
“She’s glowing. I told you he would keep her satisfied.” Kim holds out her hand.
Lisa and Aspen slap money into her palm.
“I’m sorry, what?” I ask.
“We had a bet going. Lisa and I thought it would take longer for him to give you that dopey smile. I said another month. Lisa thought you would hold out three,” Aspen admits.
I turn to Maggie, but she holds up her hands.
“I did not participate. It is none of our business what you get up to. You will share what you want to share, when you want to share it.”
I snort. “This is exactly the type of bet I would have taken. What did you say, Kim?”
She smiles. “Oh, I said he would get it right on his first try and that you wouldn’t be waiting months. I’m surprised you made it as long as you did. The way that man looks at you? It’s fire, girl.”
I glance over my shoulder and find the man in question looking at me. I can see what she means. The way he eyes me is like I am his most prized possession, and he cannot wait to devour me.
“If you’ll excuse me, ladies, I will be right back,” I tell them without looking at them.
Ridge gives me a questioning look. I nod my head toward the back, which makes him smile.
“Where are you going?” Aspen teases.
I look back to her. “None of your business.”
Then I leave the girls behind as I push my way through toward the back of the bar.
I’m looking around for the bathroom when a door suddenly opens, and I’m snatched backward. I gasp, but a hand slaps over my mouth.
Fuck, this isn’t good.
Ridge
The moment she nodded toward the back, I knew what was up. I could see it in her eyes. She is desperate for something, and I think it’s me.
I quickly excuse myself from the guys, not even caring what they are talking about anymore.
The only thing on my mind is my woman. Instead of fighting my way toward her, I sneak out the side door of the bar and circle around back.
Moving toward the supply room, I step inside and close the door most of the way, leaving it slightly cracked.
It takes her several minutes to get to the hall, but when she does, I see her looking around. I know she is looking for the bathroom, but I would never take her there. Instead, I open the door and yank her back. She gasps, but I put my hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.
Only I forgot who I was dealing with. Within a heartbeat, she bites my hand and twists my arm.
“Fuck, Viper. I hope you can cure me,” I hiss at her.
She drops my arm before crossing her own.
“You scared the fuck out of me. I was getting ready to fight for my life. I was thinking about how those friends of mine out there would tell the damn reporter that I lit up a goddamn room, and we both fucking know that isn’t true. It was all playing out in my head,” she chastises me.
“I’m sorry. I only wanted to get you somewhere quiet and alone. Now that door has a lock. How about we use it, and you show me what thoughts were running through your head out there.” I move closer to her, reaching behind her to lock the door.
“Mmm. Well, I guess you didn’t mean to scare me. I suppose I could share some of my thoughts with you,” she muses.
I cup her cheek. “I want them all, no matter how unhinged.”
She smiles as I kiss my way down her neck.
“Kim said she could tell how you felt about me by the way you looked at me. I didn’t see it before, but I see it now.
Then I was jealous that she got to see that look on you.
It made me want to burn her eyes out, but that’s not fair because she didn’t mean to see.
So instead, I decided I want everyone in this place to know who you belong to. ” She rambles.
She arches her neck, giving me more room.
“Who do you belong to, Rain?” I whisper against her skin.
“You,” she moans out.
I let my hands make their way down her body until I reach her pants. I unbutton them and pull them down before I spin her to face the door.
“I’m going to own this pussy, then you are going to mark me so there is never a question of who I belong to. Got it?” I growl at her.
“Yes, sir,” she says in her sassy tone, but the way her pussy is dripping onto my fingers tells me she likes when I make demands.
Spreading her legs as wide as they will go with her pants still attached, I undo my own pants. After slipping on a condom, I line myself up and slam into her in one go.
She moans out as the door rattles from the force.
“More. Please, Adam.”
“You beg so pretty for me, baby. You know that?”
Gripping her hip, I thrust in hard again. Then I do it again and again until the door is shaking on the hinges. She pushes back against me the best she can, seeking more, so with one hand, I slide around and play with her clit.
“Come on, Viper. Show me what a good girl you can be. Are you going to come all over my cock?” My husky tone demands an answer from her.
“I will if you get me there,” she hisses back.
I smack her ass, making her gasp. Then I do it again, loving how her pussy clenches against me when I do. When she leans her head back against me, I use my free hand to grip her neck, applying a little pressure to it as my other hand continues to play with her clit.
She gasps out my name before her pussy flutters wildly against my cock. I continue to thrust into her, holding her body against the door until I find my own release.
I give her a moment to catch her breath before I pull out and turn her toward me.
“Mark me. Show them,” I tell her, giving her my neck.
Without hesitation, she leans forward, biting into my neck enough to make it sting as she sucks the skin.
She doesn’t know it, but that mark is about to permanently become part of my skin. Proof for the rest of my life that she is and always will be the only one I love. After several moments, she pulls back and looks at her work.
Then she looks up into my eyes and blushes.
“What’s that for?” I ask, brushing my fingers against her skin.
“A hickey is so high school, isn’t it?”
I shrug. “Right now, it’s us. Fuck what they think.”
I press a quick kiss to her lips before I step away to take care of the condom and clean up. By the time I make it back to her, she already has her clothes put back on, but her face still looks freshly fucked.
I love that I can put that look on her face.
“Are you ready to get back out there?” I ask her.
She shakes her head. “No. I would much rather be alone with you still, but our friends are waiting, and I have been wanting to hang out with them more.”
I lean down, kissing the top of her head. “We can rain check the me and you stuff for later. Go have fun with your friends. I’ll be close and watching.”
“Of course you will be. You always are,” she jokes.
“Does that bother you?”
She looks up at me, stars in her eyes. “Not even a little bit. I love you.”
“I love you too, Viper. Now get out of here before I do all of that all over again.”
She giggles as she opens the door and steps out of the room. I watch her go, taking my time to follow her.
Mustang really knew what he was doing when he put his girl in my path. I can’t imagine my life without her now.
