ROGUE

Nothing Angel said could have hit me like what she told me without even knowing she just told me exactly who the fuck we’re up against. A Columbian drug lord who likes to impregnate pretty little white virgins who give him children and keep his compound and sphere of control growing.

Modern day fucking cult if you ask me but apparently when the police raided his place a couple years ago not one of his concubines would give him up or wanted to leave.

Totally brainwashed if you ask me.

I don’t give a fuck who Encino Ricardo is, he’s not getting his hands on Angel.

I stroke her hair not having ever considered becoming a father in all of my life.

But the idea of putting a baby inside of my Angel, it sits pretty fucking good with me.

“You let me worry about that. If it happens, it happens. That baby will have everything life can offer, understand, Angel?” I swear on everything good that I’ll protect her and this baby from anything evil.

My Angel smiles, a gentle sweet smile that causes my racing blood to settle, still getting used to the feel of a woman in my room and in my bed.

She kisses my lips. “My sister is about a year older, but she was always way more extroverted than me. Always made friends a lot easier. When our mom died, she got a little wild, dated a lot and well, suffice it to say that when my stepdad sold us, she wasn’t a virgin but that’s not what my stepdad told the Scorpions. He wanted a big payday.”

I push a wisp of red hair that’s fallen over her creamy complexion behind her ear.

She smiles at me and clasps her hand in mine.

“When the Scorpions bought us they thought we were both virgins but when one of them got handsier than he was supposed to with us, Ari told him that she wasn’t a virgin and if they touched her again she’d make sure the buyer knew they raped her.

She was fearless that night, Rogue. Honestly, it’s what got us through. ”

I cradle her head against my chest for a moment, wanting to protect her from these memories and at the same time wanting her to get it out and finally share the truth. “Tell me what happened, Angel.”

“She was trembling afterward, but it’s what saved her from getting raped. No one wanted their dick in a woman who the buyer thought took the virginity of his girl and in the end, her not being a virgin is what allowed me to get her out of there and make them come for me and not her.”

I stroke my Angel’s hair. Damn she and her sister have been through more than any one woman should have to endure. I vow to double down on our efforts to find out where her sister may have ran.

“We’ll find her, Angel. Try to remember any place she may have run to, any place she may have thought was safe if she got away.

There’s nowhere too far. We have Royal Bastard brothers across all of the United States.

You give me a place, a location, and we’ll send biker crews in and we’ll bring her out if she’s alive. You can fucking count on that.”

“Do you have any family other than the Royal Bastards alive?” Angel asks.

She changed the path of that conversation pretty damn quick, into something I fucking hate talking about, but after what she just told me it’s hard not to tell her the truth.

If she’s carrying my baby, she deserves to at least know her baby daddy’s background.

“No family alive at all. My mom left me on the steps of a local orphanage. No clue who my dad is and don’t have any desire to find out. ”

“I’m so sorry,” she says, kissing me gently.

I stroke her bare belly. “If we made a baby, this baby is going to know a life far different than ours, got that Angel?”

Angel places her head on my bare skin and her soft warm breath floats over the hairs of my chest as her delicate hand settles against my waist and she falls into a deep sleep.

How the fuck could I have not thought of Encino Ricardo?

All the clues were there, but there’s so many fucking perverts buying up women today, but that breeding fetish it’s got his name all over it.

Damn that man. He’s not getting his claws into Angel; that’s for damn sure.

Who knows what else goes on in that compound but clearly a lot more than we thought because when the Scorpions are involved there’s always guns, drugs, and kidnapped women involved.

I lay for a couple hours, listening to Angel breathe, holding her close, getting a plan put together in my head what to go over with the crew when I call church tomorrow.

Angel may not be right about the recruits’ loyalty, but it’s time to put them to an ultimate test. Time to find out if they’re loyal to the end to our crew or plan to give us or Angel up at the drop of a dime or a bag full of money.

Angel is still fast asleep when I get up in the morning.

I’ve barely slept at all, trying to decide exactly how we’re going to annihilate the remaining Scorpions now that I know who they’re working with because that man, he’s got plenty of bank to send in more loyals, get more Scorpions from around the country transported in quicker than they would without him and have them come knocking on our door.

Offense is still going to be our game.

And the fact that I’ve had feelers out for her sister, trying to locate her and have come up empty day after day makes me wonder if we’re coming at it the wrong way. My recruits and men are out there in the streets, talking to people in the clubs, and that’s getting us nowhere fast.

I pour myself a cup of strong black coffee and head out to the porch, watching as the sun rises over the horizon across the vast desert and property in the back. And all of a sudden, my blood runs cold.

She was fucking right…

The night I was talking with my VP about the electric fences running along the property line one of my recruits was there. The fence wasn’t put up to keep enemies out but critters out of the groves, but he fucking heard it just the same.

He’s fucking lucky that Johnny’s crew likes to work late into the night, using lights to see their way instead of the hundred plus degrees of the Arizona sun.

I’ll wait until after the carpenter crews go home tonight, but then, I’m going to find out exactly who the fuck he’s working for and get the information about the Scorpions and perhaps even some information about this buyer that we need.

Because when I find him, that fucker is going to wish he had never run across anyone wearing a Royal Bastard color.

There’s one thing not one man on my crew will tolerate and that’s trafficking women.

You mess with them and we find out, you’re going to deal with us.

It’s just taking them some time to believe Angel after seeing her coming in and out of the clubs with the Scorpions, but now we know who we’re dealing with at the end of the day.

Someone way up in the food chain, but that’s okay, we have our own connections and ways of making people pay.
