ROY “ROWDY” REED
A man was bound to grow into a special person when he was a family’s youngest and its only male child. If he were like me, and had great parents like Pax and Bebe Reed, he was bound to be almost too special. Maybe that was why I occasionally rubbed people the wrong way.
I often forgot to edit myself. My three older sisters had always found me funny. My mom thought I was charming. My dad called me cool. All the best people fucking adored me!
Women were no exception. As a member of the Crimson Guard Motorcycle Club, I often had chicks ready to party at our clubhouse. I regularly got my dick wet, but none of the women interested me past fucking.
Until a sexy blonde found her way into the clubhouse. That night, I hadn’t been interested in hooking up. Yet, I felt Katie calling out to me. Her eyes shined like emeralds. Her shy smile hinted at secrets I wanted to discover.
Though I was certain I’d seen her before, Katie claimed we had never met. Her smile felt strikingly familiar. I knew in my heart that I had stared into her green eyes before. When she swore that night was the first time we’d spoken, I didn’t push for the truth.
For an hour, we danced around any details that might kill the attraction between us. We mostly talked about the music playing and different drinks. Suddenly, she stopped speaking and stared lovestruck at me. How could I not kiss her?
We ended up in the back seat of her green Subaru Outback. Katie was a woman on a mission. I sensed she was living out a fantasy. Plenty of shy women dreamed of riding a dangerous man’s cock.
I let Katie lead that night. Her lips were soft and puffy. Her hands were curious and demanding. Her pussy was the hottest thing I’d ever felt. I got hooked quickly on the heat she offered.
After our bodies were spent, I asked if we could go on a date. Katie’s confidence fizzled once the pleasure wore off. She started talking about how she wasn’t local but promised to visit the clubhouse again when she was in town.
As Katie drove away, I was certain I’d never see her again. Thankfully, I was wrong. She came back a half dozen times. During each visit, I learned a little more about her. She was an endoscopy nurse. She lived in Little Rock with her sister and two black cats named Witchy and Wicked.
Those tidbits were never enough. I found myself constantly thinking about Katie. Something about her was special, making the sex better.
For the first time in years, I wanted to date a woman. Katie had even spurred me to consider commitment. In fact, I kept my dick dry long after she stopped showing up.
Katie eventually texted a cryptic message. “One day, I hope you and I can be honest, but I’m not ready for that conversation.”
Having been honest since day one, I hadn’t understood what the fuck she was talking about.
As the months passed, I kept texting her.
Sometimes, I begged for her attention like a desperate dog.
Sometimes, I kept my messages flirty, reminding her of the fun we shared.
Occasionally, I threatened to bang another chick if she didn’t respond.
When nothing worked, my club brothers suggested I hire someone to track her down.
By then, I was convinced Katie was married.
I had been the wild side piece she used to live out a fantasy.
Knowing the truth might have helped me let her go.
Despite the temptation to track her down growing more intense with each passing month, I chose to keep my fantasy safe by not learning the truth.
Instead, I sent her regular texts with information about my life.
I shared pictures of my friends and family during the holidays.
She received a ton of photos of my tough little Chihuahua, Goblin.
I also sent a few dick pics, so she wouldn’t forget what she was missing.
Mostly, I texted to see if she would block me, but Katie never did.
I wasn’t sure how long I would wait. Several times, I’d considered hooking up with other chicks. Once the women were in front of me, I lost my nerve. I couldn’t give up on Katie yet.
On New Year’s Eve, Katie texted to wish me well. Nothing else. She acted like I hadn’t been texting her weekly. I was frustrated and ready to quit waiting.
“Fuck that dumb bitch,” insisted my bitchiest sister, Sabrina, as her two girlfriends, Xandy and Moe, nodded in unison. “You’re a prize, and she’s a cock tease. Let her rot.”
My oldest sister, Lula, leaned into logic by claiming, “She might have left her husband, and then they got back together.”
“Why not block me?”
Watching me with her warm brown eyes, Lula replied, “Because a part of her wonders what might have been.”
“Wouldn’t her husband see the pictures I sent her?”
“I don’t know. Why are you sending this woman pictures?”
“I don’t want her to forget what my dick looks like.”
Lula wasn’t particularly impressed by that comment. My only blonde sister, Vanessa, proved far more sympathetic.
“Honor your heart,” she said. “Even if you look like a clingy twat, embrace that feeling until you’re over her.”
“What if I never get over her?”
“That would be sad, but you’ve had enough pussy to last a lifetime. Giving up sex isn’t the end of the world. Just let yourself be a clingy twat.”
Vanessa’s words gave me permission to sulk for a bit longer. From the outside, I remained happy. But inside, I was dying without an answer from Katie. Maybe hiring a PI was the way to go.
The world went on while I sulked. Today’s party was to celebrate the brawl between three members of the LM Jokers Motorcycle Club and three men aligned with my club.
My friends, Boone Chester and Alon “Nine” Tooker, were involved, along with Zodiac Bondi, who was the president of the allied Black Rainbow Motorcycle Club.
The Sorority House was a massive white house located on the northside of Little Memphis. Like many of the Crimson Guard foxes, my sisters, Sabrina and Vanessa, lived at the mansion.
Lula and her new husband, Dan “Exile” Shaw, were also at the party.
I was surrounded by people in love. My cousin, the Crimson Guard president, Clint Reed, was going gaga over his tiny, new wife, Ivy.
Zodiac followed around my cousin, Elle, who was carrying their newborn, Trent, in one of those baby slings.
Joining me at a basketball game was Boone Chester, who had recently gotten engaged to Exile’s sister, Nova, during the holidays.
Everyone was in love! Even Sabrina, who had been with Moe and Xandy for years, kept rubbing my face in her good luck by rubbing her boobs against theirs.
Well, I guess not everyone was in love. My club’s VP Rock Savo refused to love a woman. I doubted he even loved his tiny dog. Why couldn’t I be a heartless fuck like that asshole?
I was quietly wallowing in self-pity when I received the text that would change my life.
“Our time together left me pregnant. I planned to tell you this information after I gave birth. Now that I’ve gone into labor early, I’ve had a change of heart.
I’m at the Little Rock Hospital. If you want to be here for the delivery, text me when you arrive downstairs.
I’ll send someone to bring you up. I’m sure this news will come as a shock, but I don’t know how long I have before I give birth. You need to hurry!”
I read the message twice before my brain caught up to the meaning.
My first real thought was relief at how Katie had a reason to ignore me besides marriage to another guy!
My second thought was that I was going to be a dad!
My third thought was that I would need to give up smoking.
My fourth thought was calculating how long it would take to get to Little Rock if I left instantly.
I definitely shouldn’t have announced my good news to my friends and family as I was running out of the party. The smarter move would have been to play shit sneaky, so I might get away unscathed.
Instead, upon hearing my announcement, Sabrina, Lula, and Vanessa chased after me. I dodged them on my way to my motorcycle. As we reached the front lawn, Sabrina tried tackling me, but I wiggled free of her iron grip.
“Katie’s having my baby!” I said as I raced away.
Since my sisters could track my phone, I assumed they would trail me once they contacted our parents and hatched a plan. For now, I was alone with the road and my dream of seeing Katie again.
I didn’t dare imagine the baby part until I reached the Little Rock exit.
Katie and I had been relatively careful.
At least for the first few rounds in the back seat of her SUV.
But once or twice, we’d fooled around enough for me to run out of condoms. That’s when my precious little mistake had been created!
The sun was down when I arrived in the visitor parking lot.
I texted Katie to say I was downstairs. When she didn’t immediately respond, I started to worry she’d changed her mind.
Would I need to sneak upstairs to labor and delivery?
Maybe I could get my cop uncle Devin to show up and help me bully my way to the right place.
“I’m sending someone,” Katie replied after a few minutes.
By then, I had taken a quick piss break. I also ensured I didn’t have bug gunk on me from the ride.
Waiting at the elevators, I was stunned when the doors opened to reveal a curvy, yet clearly not pregnant Katie.
“Wait, did you have the baby?” I asked and then shook my head. “No, wait, you’re not Katie, but you have her face. Am I high?”
Katie glared at me. “I’m her sister, Maria.”
“You look a lot alike,” I said, reacting physically to the sight of her soft blonde hair and shiny green eyes.
“We’re twins.”
My brain rewound all the way back to high school to a pair of pretty twins named Katarina and Mariana.
The nerdy, good girls had run with a totally different crowd than me.
Katarina once asked me to go to a dance with her.
Assuming she had been fucking with me, I’d laughed.
When Katarina’s expression turned sad, I realized she was serious.
I had spent the rest of the school year trying to get her to chill out and go out with me. Instead, she treated me like a leper.
Katarina and her sister left school after that year, and I never saw them again until the night Katie walked into the Fire Hooch.
Irritated now, I demanded, “Okay, what the fuck is going on here?”
“Don’t swear at me.”
“Is she even pregnant? Am I being punked?”
Blowing her bangs out of her eyes, Maria insisted, “You are not the victim here.”
“I feel like I’m at least slightly the victim. Can I talk to Katarina now?”
Maria eyed me curiously before asking, “Did you really not recognize Kat?”
“If I knew who she was, I could have tracked her down.”
Maria rested her hands on her hips and asked, “And what would you have said?”
“The same thing I said the last time I saw her. That I wanted to go out on a real date rather than bang in her car.”
Maria glared at me. “I didn’t want to text you, but she panicked about you missing out.”
“Aww, she cares,” I said and eyed the elevator. “So, is it too late for me to tell her to breathe?”
“It was false labor,” Maria growled between clenched teeth. “She’s scheduled for a C-section next week. You can leave.”
“Oh, that’s right. You’re the funny twin. Now, stop joking and take me upstairs, before my family shows up here and makes a scene.”
Suddenly panicked, Maria stared at the lobby doors. “Why would they show up here?”
“I told them about the baby as I was leaving. They’re going to track me down to find out what’s happening.”
“Uh-huh,” Maria said and hit the elevator button. “I’ll take you up to see Kat, but be nice.”
“Oh, I will.”
“No mean comments about her weight or how red she is from crying.”
“I know how to act around pregnant ladies. My cousin had a baby at the end of December, and I never once made Elle feel bad.”
“Sure,” Maria said and entered the elevator.
As I followed her inside, I ran my hands through my hair. “How do I look?”
“Like a thug.”
“Sure, but do I look like a sexy thug?”
Refusing to find humor in my words, she muttered, “Kat’s very pregnant. Your looks don’t matter.”
“So na?ve,” I replied and shook my head. “Kat wasn’t visiting my clubhouse for my intellectual skills.”
As we left the elevator, I felt Maria fighting a smile. Instead, she only narrowed her eyes and snarled at me.
“Be nice,” she warned again. “Kat’s insecure about her size.”
“Well, she’s carrying my kid. Of course, she’s going to be plump.”
Maria stopped marching down the hallway and eyed me. “Did you really want to date her?”
“Yes.”
Anger easing, Maria asked, “Are you mad she didn’t inform you about the pregnancy earlier?”
“Yeah, a little. Right now, though, I’m excited to see her.”
Maria studied me. When she bit her bottom lip, I felt like I was looking at her sister.
“I’ll let her tell you herself.”
“Tell me what?”
“Kat should be the one to explain the gender and other details.”
Maria knocked quietly on a door, opened it a crack, and poked her head inside. I heard her say my name. She turned back to me and glared like a ferocious beast.
“If you make her cry, I won’t care if you’re a biker,” she warned. “I’ll neuter you and deal with the consequences.”
“Fair enough. Not scoot your ass out of my way.”
Maria rolled her eyes and opened the door. I sauntered inside, unsure what I’d find. My heart raced in that wild way it always did when Kat entered the clubhouse. Her long, golden-blonde hair somehow shined in the hospital room’s dull lighting. Kat’s green eyes widened at the sight of me.
Even with her looking very pregnant, extremely tired, and super blotchy, Kat was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen.
