Ch39 The Awakening of RV #4
Not a chance. You knew exactly what kind of a dangerous predator you were dealing with when you crossed paths with Rudraksh Vardhan.
You knew I had the power to wipe your entire existence off the map in a heartbeat, yet you still refused to rein in your pathetic arrogance.
But now, the game has changed. You are going to pay a heavy, blood-soaked debt for every single tear you forced out of Rivanya's eyes.
If I do not make you suffer a hundred times worse than she did, then the name Rudraksh Vardhan means absolutely nothing.
I lifted my eyes, looking out past the balcony railing. The horizon was slowly fracturing with the first, faint gray light of dawn. I glanced down at my wristwatch; it was just brushing against 4:00 AM.
My daily routine was calling. Stepping back inside the quiet bedroom, I pulled the glass door shut behind me, sliding the lock into place with extreme caution so as not to make a single sound.
I paused at the edge of the bed, looking down at Rivanya's soft, innocent face.
Safe under the heavy duvet, her breathing had finally settled into a peaceful rhythm.
Assured that she was resting well, I quietly turned and exited the bedroom, making my way downstairs into the misty morning air of the garden.
For the next two hours, I threw myself into my physical conditioning.
I pushed my body through a grueling hour of intense, high-impact exercises, forcing my muscles to their limits, before transitioning into a rigorous yoga routine to lock in my focus.
Finally, I unclasped my training blade and engaged in a relentless sword practice session.
My movements were sharp, lethal, and precise, every strike carrying the residual fury burning in my veins.
By the time I finished, it was already 6:00 AM.
Sweat was dripping from my jaw as I walked back up to the bedroom. Rivanya hadn't shifted a muscle; she was still fast asleep. Moving like a shadow to avoid disturbing her, I slipped quietly into the bathroom and turned the dial, unleashing a heavy, freezing downpour from the showerhead.
Stepping directly under the ice-cold stream, a violent shiver ripped across my skin as the water collided with my overheated body.
The shock of the freezing temperature hit my system instantly, drawing a sharp, ragged breath from my chest.
Droplets of water hammered against my broad shoulders and cascaded down the sculpted, rigid contours of my chest and abdomen.
Physically, the cold water felt incredible against my strained, burning muscles, numbing the exhaustion from my two-hour workout and washing away the sweat.
But mentally, the freezing needles did absolutely nothing to cool the explosive fire in my head.
As the water pooled at my feet and swirled down the drain, my mind remained entirely focused on the impending destruction of Bedi Industries.
My skin was numb from the cold, but my veins were pulsing with a dangerous adrenaline.
I leaned my forehead against the wet tile wall, letting the cold water drench my hair and run over my face, cementing my resolve.
Naresh Bedi's execution was already in motion, and by the time I stepped out of this bathroom, his ruin would be official.
I stepped out of the bathroom with a white towel wrapped securely around my waist, water still dripping from the tips of my dark hair.
Walking straight into my spacious walk-in closet, I began selecting my attire for the day.
First, I slid into a crisp, plain white formal shirt, fastening the buttons with practiced ease, followed by my undergarments.
Next came a pair of perfectly tailored black trousers, and finally, I donned my signature black blazer.
As usual, black was the dominant choice.
I absolutely despise vibrant colours. I don't know what it is about the shade of pitch-black, but it is the only hue that has ever resonated with me.
To me, black represents an unyielding, raw power a commanding force capable of making anyone and everyone bow down in submission.
It is exactly why this entire multi-million mansion is built around a sleek, dark, black-themed aesthetic.
Of course, I am well aware that Rivanya isn't a particularly big fan of black, her tastes being far more vibrant.
Stepping over to my custom accessory display case, I selected an exquisite piece from my luxury collection a heavy, statement Rolex watch crafted entirely from pure solid gold.
I snapped the clasp shut around my wrist and finished my routine by spraying my signature premium perfume, the rich, woody scent instantly filling the air.
With everything in place, I quietly stepped out of the closet and back into the bedroom area.
Moving with absolute stealth so as not to wake Rivanya up from her deep recovery sleep, I walked over to the full-length vanity mirror.
I stood before the glass, running a comb through my damp strands and carefully grooming my hair, keeping my eyes fixed on the reflection of the room behind me.
