Chapter 9 #2
Damn, he was starting it for once. How could I resist? As pleasure tensed my gut, I slanted my mouth over his and flicked my tongue inside him.
With a groan, his dick twitched against mine, and he wrapped his hand around both, continuing the slow strokes. “Yeah, Malik. You feel so good.” He nibbled down my jaw and sucked my earlobe into his mouth. “Do you feel good?” he rasped.
“I do.” I tilted my head back, exposing my neck as sensation rolled through me, enjoying the feel of his hands on me, of his teeth skimming the column of my neck.
As he quickened the pace of his hand, he thrust against me, his body trembling. “Fuck, getting close. You?” His voice cracked.
I lost myself in pleasure as tingling grew in my cock, and my balls filled and tightened. This would be another quickie, but what the hell, we’d probably do it again later. And he was touching me this time. I was under his control. “Yes, getting close. Go faster.”
“Yeah?” With quick jerks of his hand, he panted and gasped, his one arm wrapped around my waist, trapping me in place. Gritting his teeth and tensing his brows, he said, “Fuck, coming.” As his rhythm faltered, he dipped, and hot cum spurted onto my chest.
I fixated on his shuddering body, the feel of his solid dick against my own, the warm, soft skin covering hard flesh, the twitching of his orgasm.
A shock of sensation tore through me and spread to my fingers and toes.
As I fell into climax, guttural moans erupted from my throat, and I clutched his ass with one hand while gripping his hair behind his head.
A wave of dizziness overtook me as my body contracted, over and over, spilling into his pumping hand.
When it calmed, he pressed his forehead against my shoulder. “I can’t get enough. I fucking can’t get enough of you.” He lifted his hand and licked the cum off his fingers.
I watched him for a moment and then hugged him tightly to my chest, my arms hooking around his shoulders.
Holy fuck, I couldn’t get enough of him either.
Was Tex right? Was I headed for heartache when we returned home?
I didn’t fucking care. If I had nothing else, at least I’d have our time here at camp.
“I’m glad, Grey. Having you here with me has been amazing. ”
“Yeah? Agreed.” He melted against me, brushing his cheek along my shoulder. “Should we try this water now?” He stepped away and further into the creek.
“Sure.” I followed him in. As water touched my balls, they tucked into my body and a shiver rolled across my skin. “Holy fuck, that’s cold.”
“Damn right it is.” He shuddered, and his teeth chattered as he held his arms to his chest. “Okay, I’m going in.” Sucking a breath, he dove into the water and swam under for a few seconds before popping up. “Fuck.”
“You’re insane.” Barking a laugh, I ducked into the water up to my neck, the cold water shocking my system before becoming manageable. “I think this is colder than our ice baths.”
He swam to me and pressed a long kiss on my lips. “I don’t want to go home.” His gaze searched my face. “If I could stay here with you forever, I think I would.”
Warmth bloomed in my heart. Maybe he’d change his mind about contacting Ella. Maybe there was hope he’d stand up to his father. “Me too.” Grabbing his shoulders, I turned him around and tucked him into my front. We had a few days until the scrimmage, and then we’d head for home.
The day of the scrimmage was here, and I slapped Grey’s ass in his football pants as he pulled his helmet on.
I’d be playing opposite him today. Coach had mixed up the first and second strings on each team, and I’d play with our first-string quarterback, Justin James, while Grey would have Bailey and Tex on his side.
“Do well out there.” He’d come a long way during camp.
“I will.” He beamed at me under the sunshine peeking through fluffy clouds, his smile reaching his eyes. He jogged across the field where his team prepared for battle.
The bleachers filled fast with friends, family and ASU alumni. Last year, Casey had scored the winning touchdown for his team with Ryker in the stands. Today, I didn’t care which side won or lost, as long as we had fun and no one got hurt.
I grabbed a sports bottle filled with Gatorade and squirted it into my mouth, reminiscing about all the time I’d stolen with Grey to fool around.
He’d talked about sucking my dick a lot, but still had yet to try it.
Maybe when we got home. I adjusted my swollen dick in my pants.
I had to stop thinking about it and get my head in the game.
Justin stepped toward me. “So, you ready for this?” He flashed his white teeth at me through his helmet.
“Ready as ever.” I patted him on the helmet. I felt good about my skills after this week.
“Good. I feel like we barely saw you this year, Thompson. All I heard about was your going off hiking with your buddy Moore.” He leaned in. “I didn’t know you loved nature that much.” With a chuckle, he straightened and drank from a sports bottle.
Fuck, had all the guys noticed our forays into the woods? I clenched my jaw. I had to make something up. “Yeah, well, we did some trail running. It’s good for endurance, and I think it’ll help my game.” Would he buy it?
He narrowed his eyes and scoffed a laugh. “Trail running, huh?” Grabbing a football, he walked off. “Bailey, catch.” As Bailey ran onto the field, he tossed a perfect spiral to him.
I chewed the corner of my mouthpiece, watching them. Maybe it was a good thing we were leaving today. If we’d stayed any longer, we’d probably have gotten caught, literally with our pants down.
I sat on the bench, watching the other squad’s offense take the field. Grey was out there, and he’d already had a twenty-yard run that almost resulted in a touchdown. He looked fantastic.
Manning, our second-string quarterback, stepped behind the center and shouted commands, then as the ball snapped, he stepped backward and faked a pass to Coley.
Grey sprinted out and to the center of the field.
With a quick toss, Manning gave Grey the ball.
Tucking it, Grey danced left and right, and then twirled around a defensive lineman, rushing toward the end zone.
“Holy fuck.” I stood, my mouth dropping open. “Go, Moore! You’ve got this!”
The guys next to me screamed for the linebacker to grab him.
Pumping my fist, I shouted. “Go, buddy, fucking go!” I hopped up and down while he scrambled past our safety and into the end zone.
Over the speakers, the announcer said, “Touchdown.” The crowd hopped out of their seats and cheered.
With a shout, Grey spiked the ball and strutted toward me. “Hell yeah!”
I flew from the sideline and grabbed him around the waist, lifting him in the air, laughing. “You fucking did it! That was epic.” My heart soared. If he continued playing this well, he’d be with me in the draft.
He cackled and kicked his legs as they left the ground. “It felt so damn good.”
As I set him down, he grabbed my helmet and pressed his to it, his gaze locking on mine. “I’d kiss you if all the damn people weren’t around.”
“I believe it.” Emotion erupted inside me. There had to be hope for us.
A whistle blew, and a ref stomped toward us. “Okay, boys, back to your benches.”
“Yes, sir.” With a nod, I strolled to my squad’s sideline.
“Dude, watch out, or Coach will replace you with him.” With a smirk, James held out his hand.
I side-slapped it. “I wouldn’t have a problem with Coach playing him sometimes.
How bad could it be to have two great running backs on the team and be able to mix it up during a game?
” If it were any other guy, I might be upset about it.
But not Grey, not the man who was my ride or die…
or might quickly steal my heart if I wasn’t careful.
I’d made a touchdown of my own before the game had ended and had my best yardage yet during the camp’s scrimmage game.
Grey had proven himself, and I felt confident in my spot.
After a post-game meeting and showers, we’d packed and headed to the bus with me sitting beside Grey and behind Tex and another lineman, Rick Masters.
As we headed down the rim and into Payson, Grey’s phone dinged a few times. “Damn.” He slipped it from his backpack, resting between his legs on the floor, and held it to his face.
“Who’s that?” Had his parents called him? When was the last time he’d spoken to his dad? I glanced at the screen. Ella popped up in the notifications. Fuck.
He lowered his brows as he tapped the text messages open. “It’s Ella.” He huffed and squirmed in his seat. “I told her she wouldn’t be able to reach me this week.” He typed a quick message. “Guess she didn’t listen.”
“What did she say?” I leaned over as tightness wove through my chest. I wanted to look, but I didn’t.
“She’s upset that I didn’t text her all week, and she’s accusing me of ghosting her.” He scratched his forehead. “What the fuck? I told Carrie I’d be gone, and all she sent was, have a great time.”
I raised my brows and shifted to face him. “Maybe Carrie isn’t an insecure bitch.” Fuck, did I say that? I huffed. “Uh, sorry.”
“No, you’re right. What the hell?” His phone dinged. “Look.” He held the screen up to me.
I read through the messages.
Ella
Why aren’t you responding? Surely you can find a way to get reception. The entire United States has cell towers now.
Grey
Sorry, but this area is very remote. I’m on the bus and just got service now.
Ella
Where there’s a will, there’s a way…
My jaw fell. “What the fuck? Did she expect you to hitch a ride down the mountain to get service just to text her?” This girl was demanding as fuck. If only she knew what he’d really been doing at camp. I smirk slid across my lips.
“She’s used to having everything her way and always getting what she wants.
This is why I don’t like the socialites my dad set me up with.
” He pressed his lips flat. “I thought she was better than the rest.” His gaze crept to mine.
“I don’t know what I should say. If I don’t text back, I’ll only make it worse. ”
I straightened in my seat. “Grey, do you really want to continue talking to her? What would happen if you didn’t respond again, and she fucked off?” I had to admit, she was digging herself a hole with him, and I didn’t hate it.
“No, if word got back to my father, I’d hear about it from him.” Pinching his lips, he typed a message and then showed it to me. “What do you think?”
Grey
Believe what you want, but as soon as I had reception, I checked my messages and contacted you.
“I think it’s straight and to the point.
How can you debate that?” Though I was sure she would find a way.
“Send it.” I sank into my seat and crossed my arms over my chest. Would he use me for advice with this girl now?
It was what he would have done had we not hooked up at camp. Was this the new normal?
He squeezed my thigh as he peered at his screen. “That seemed to settle her down.” After blowing out a breath, he said, “Fuck.”
“Yeah, fuck.” I closed my eyes. Maybe I could catch a nap and not have to discuss Ella anymore.
