Chapter 21

Hawk

Iwas surprised when Delilah mentioned that she was interested in going to Stilettos with me, especially since she’d never been to a strip club before, but I wasn’t going to deny her.

Besides, I thought it would an interesting experience for us both.

I would be able to see how things were going with the new product the club had purchased from Flint, and Delilah would get to spend some time with the brothers and experience for herself why so many came to our infamous strip clubs.

She’d gotten all dolled up in one of her little black dresses that clung to her curves with a pair high heels.

Her hair was curled and down around her shoulders, and it was difficult to keep my hands off her as we started towards the front door.

Before we went in, I considered warning Delilah that she would be entering a different world, much different than what she’d seen on TV, but I decided against it, choosing to let her see for herself.

I held the door open and watched as her eyes widened with surprise as she stepped inside.

The spotlights were flashing, the music was blaring, and you could almost smell the scent of lust and fantasy that hung in the air.

Delilah weaved through the slew of people like a pro, smiling as she noticed how hyped up they were to see the women dancing on the stage.

There were five different stages in the new club, each one with its own lighting system and stream of beautiful women who could charm a twenty-dollar bill out of any man’s hand.

Delilah took her time making her way through the crowd, and as soon as she spotted the guys sitting at one of the back tables, she turned to me and smiled.

“You want to go over and sit with them?”

“Yeah, that’d be good.”

I took her by the hand and led her over to the table, and as soon as we approached, the brothers stood to welcome Delilah. A bashful smile crossed her face as she said, “Thanks guys. It good to see you too.”

“You want a drink?”

“Sure.”

“Whatcha want?”

Delilah sat down next to Axel and said, “A Long Island iced tea would be nice.”

“You got it.” I called over to Misty, one of the waitresses, and placed our order, then sat down next to Delilah. I glanced over at Viper and said, “Looks like another big night.”

“It is.” He leaned in as he whispered, “Product is moving well. Looks like Flint is a go.”

“Good to hear.”

He nodded, then turned his attention to Delilah. “How you been making it?”

“Much better, thanks to you guys.” Emotion filled her eyes as she said, “I never got a chance to thank you for coming to help me out with my father.”

“Glad to do it.”

“I also wanted to thank you for deciding to give Danny another chance. I wasn’t expecting you to let him go, but I’m really glad you did.”

“No need to thank me.” Being vague at best, Viper told her, “Danny earned his way out.”

“Well, I appreciate it just the same.”

Misty brought over our drinks, and after she placed Delilah’s cocktail on the table, she touched her shoulder and smiled, “I love your dress.”

“Thank you.” Delilah’s eyes skirted over Misty’s skimpy miniskirt and halter top as she replied, “I like yours too.”

“You’re really pretty.” Misty reached for a strand of Delilah’s hair, twirling it in her fingers as she purred, “I just love your hair.”

The guys were completely captivated by the scene that was unfolding before them, watching Misty as she flirted with Delilah. Slightly thrown by her advances, Delilah simply replied, “Thank you. That’s really sweet of you to say.”

“I’ll be available if you want a dance later.”

Delilah’s eyes widened in surprise. Not knowing how to answer, she turned to me, hoping for a rescue. I was enjoying watching her squirm, so I simply smiled, forcing her to fend for herself. Delilah finally glanced over at Misty and said, “Thanks, but I’m with Hawk.”

“That’s okay. He can join us.” Misty leaned forward, her breasts right in Delilah’s face as she whispered, “The more the merrier.”

“Come on, Delilah,” Rafe taunted. “You wouldn’t want to let the girl down, now would ya?”

Delilah cut her eyes over at Rafe as if looks could kill and answered, “Maybe later. I have a drink to finish.”

“Okay. I’ll be around. Just let me know when you’re ready.”

When she turned and walked away, the brothers started rolling in laughter.

Delilah shook her head and then reached for her drink and took a long sip. Rafe wasn’t about to let an opportunity to tease her pass him by, so he leaned over to her and said, “Misty’s got some real talent. You might learn something from her. I’m sure Hawk would appreciate it.”

They guys started rolling once again, and when I noticed that spark in Delilah’s eyes, I knew she was about fire back at him. She placed her drink on the table, then brushed her hair away from her face. “Just so you know, I have a few talents of my own. Misty would be lucky to learn them from me.”

“I’m sure she would,” Rafe snickered.

“And you’re an ass.”

“Sure am, but you can’t blame me. Girl on girl action is hot.”

“Um-hmm. Just remember”—a mischievous smile crossed Delilah’s face—“payback’s a bitch.”

“Bring it on, sister!” Rafe teased.

Delilah was just about to respond when Sydney, one of the club’s dancers came over to the table.

She was tall and slender with a set of fake tits and platinum-blonde hair that draped down her back.

Sydney was wearing a small sequined bikini, and it didn’t take long to figure out that she had her sights set on Delilah. “Hey there. You having a good time?”

“Yes, I am.” Delilah answered as her eyes skirted over to the guys. Once again, their total focus was on her. “The guys are too, but umm ... Rafe over there, he’s feeling a little lonely. You see, his ol’ lady dumped him because he isn’t very good in the sack.”

“Oh, really?” Sydney looked over at Rafe with pity in her eyes. “I would love to help him out with that.”

“Hold the fuck up,” Rafe fussed. “I don’t need any help. I’m actually pretty fucking phenomenal in bed, thank you very much.”

The guys busted out in laughter when Delilah leaned over to Rafe and teased, “Come on, Rafe. You wouldn’t want to let the girl down, now would ya?”

“Fuck y’all.” Rafe stood up and took Sydney by the hand, leading her towards the back. “I’ll show her. Just wait and see.”

Once they were gone, Delilah looked over to me and asked, “Did I go too far?”

“Ah, hell no. Rafe totally had that shit coming.” A pleased smile crossed her face when I told her, “You got him good.”

“I thought so too.”

Viper nudged me with his elbow as he said, “The girl’s got spunk. I like her. I think it’s safe to say we all do.”

“Good, ’cause I plan on her sticking around.”

Viper gave me a nod of approval, then ordered us all another round of drinks.

We all continued talking. Delilah had finished off her second Long Island and was well on her way with the third, and it was clear by the way she was swaying in her seat that she was feeling pretty good.

Since she was enjoying herself, I used the opportunity to check in with Menace.

He’d been monitoring the sale of the new product, and I was eager to see how it was going.

I leaned over to her as I said, “I need to see about something. You gonna be okay for a minute?”

“Sure.” She reached for her drink, taking a sip from the straw as she looked over to the stage, watching as one of the girls made her way over to the pole.

Her words were slurred as she told me, “You know, these girls are real-leee tahhlented. I could never swing around on that thing like they can.”

“Hang tight, beautiful. I’ll be right back.”

I motioned over to Shotgun, telling him to keep an eye on Delilah, then headed up front to the office. When I walked in, Menace was busy counting cash. “How’s it going?”

“Better than expected. Looks like this shit is even better than what we were getting from Danny.”

“Viper said the same. Glad it’s paying off.”

“No doubt. So, how’s it going out there on your end?”

“Good. Decided to bring Delilah along.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.” I chuckled as I told him, “She’d never been to a strip club and wanted to see for herself what all the fuss was about.”

“And how’s she liking it?”

“Seems to be having a good time. The girls certainly seem to like her.”

Menace smirked. “I bet they do.”

Our attention was drawn over to the door when Zoe stuck her head in the doorway and asked, “Hey, Menace ...You got a minute?”

Zoe was one of our dancers. She was young with a kid, trying to do what she could to put food on the table, and Menace, apparently, had a soft spot for her. “Yeah, doll. Whatcha need?”

When she glanced over at me, I knew she wanted to talk to him alone, so I said, “I’m gonna head out, brother. I’ll see ya at the clubhouse in the morning.”

“See ya then.”

On my way out, I closed the door behind me and headed back to find Delilah.

I hadn’t gotten very far when I felt someone tug at my arm.

When I turned around, I was surprised to see that it was Lisa.

I knew Viper had brought her over to get the bar up and running, but I thought it was only going to be for a few days.

She stepped towards me, placing the palms of her hands on my chest with a seductive smile.

“Hey there, handsome stranger. How have you been making it?”

“Good. Really good. How about yourself?”

“I’ve been doing okay. I was hoping that you’d change your mind and take me up on my offer. I’m free later tonight if you’re up for it.”

Just like the time before, I wasn’t interested in hooking up with her. Not now. Not ever. “Sorry, Lisa. That’s not gonna happen.”

“Oh come on, Hawk. It’s just one night.” She inched a little closer. “I’m sure we’d have ourselves a real good time. One to put in the books.”
