34. Chapter Thirty-four

Chapter thirty-four

B rennan

I was sitting out on the patio with Travis and Keegan drinking mojitos while Ryder, Max, Owen, and Lucas were in the house playing poker.

“I’d much rather sit out here in the sun than be in there playing cards. I never got the appeal,” Travis said.

“I used to play back in college, remember, Bren?”

“I remember you losing, but not so much you playing,” I teased.

“What are you boys going on about out here?” Ryder asked, stepping outside.

“Nothing much. How’s the game coming?” I asked.

“I’m out. Owen’s taking everyone’s money as usual. But that isn’t why I came out here.”

“Oh no, then what did you come out here for?”

“This.” He leaned down and kissed me. “And to find out if there are any more of those peanut butter brownies. I looked, but I didn’t find any.”

“They’re in a container in the pantry. I knew if I put them all out at once, no one else would even get any because you’d eat them all.”

“That’s not true at all. I shared the ones you put out. But just because you said that, I’m not sharing the ones that are left.”

He turned and went back into the house, and I chuckled.

“So things are going pretty great with you two, huh?” Keegan asked.

“They are.”

“I’m really happy for you, Bren. I remember when we’d sit up late at night and drink way too much, talking about what we wanted out of life, and this is it. This is what you always wanted.”

I looked around me and took it all in. The house, a job that let me be at home, my friends, but most of all my Daddy, and realized that he was right.

This right here was everything I ever wanted and more.

“You know, you’re right. I got everything I wanted, and all it took was a busted pipe and meltdown in the local hardware store to get it. Who knew?”

I hope you enjoyed reading Ryder and Brennan's story.

There are more Blue Collar Daddies to come and each Daddy is as different as their blue collar job.

Of course you just read Ryder and met my super sweet and caring Daddy.

Next up in books three and four are Lucas and Cooper they are sweet in their own ways but they both lean more towards being a Daddy Dom.

Last of the four is Owen and I am not sure what kind of Daddy he is yet, but I am sure once I start writing it he will let me know.

You can preorder the second book now: Lucas.

And here is a tiny little snippet to tide you over.

“I really am okay. I know it could have been much worse. It was impulsive and I shouldn’t have done it.”

Lucas nodded in agreement. “It was. Is that something you do often? Because I wasn't joking about the spanking you know. I won’t stand for you putting yourself in danger.”

“Actually, I’m usually the opposite of impulsive. I’m not sure what got into me. So spankings won’t be necessary. Not for punishment anyway,” I teased.

"Don’t get cheeky with me boy, I can always find other way to punish you if I need to.”

If you want to read the story of how Max and Travis met you can find that in the Dirty DAddies: 2021 Anniversary Anthology .
