Chapter 14

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

MORGAN

Iwas perfectly okay with missing school Monday after the weekend we had. It was one thing after another, and it wasn't even over yet. Sure, we all pretended it was, but Dylan had Poseidon's trident and nothing good was going to come from that.

Not only that, but he had destroyed the cavern in the Aegean Sea and had done something to Olivia. I wanted nothing more than to find him and make him pay.

We slept until almost noon, which was rare for us. It had been a long few days of worrying, and the shock of seeing Olivia with legs made us reach our limits.

I threw on a pair of basketball shorts and headed downstairs, stopping halfway when the sounds of sex became obvious. I should have turned back and waited them out, but what the hell were they doing having sex in the living room when Finn or Olivia could walk in on them?

"Blake, please."

My entire body came alive at the sound of her begging Blake. Maybe they wanted to be seen. They certainly wanted to be heard.

I crept down the stairs the rest of the way and my dick responded to the sight before me. Riley was bent over the arm of the couch, her tits popped out over the top of her tank with her pajama bottoms and underwear pooled at her feet.

Blake had one hand clamped on her hip and the other on her shoulder, pounding into her from behind. Seeing them together should have made me jealous, but it just made me horny as hell.

Riley turned her head and moaned as I slowly approached. My cock twitched and pressed against the fabric of my shorts, wanting to be free.

Blake saw me and slowed his thrusts to languid rolls of his hips. "Ri..."

I bit my lip and pressed my hand against my erection, needing the touch to relieve the ache. "Where are Olivia and Jax?"

"Gone." Riley looked back over her shoulder at Blake, who gave her a curt nod. "Come here, Morgan." She patted the couch in front of her.

My pulse quickened as I rounded the other side of the couch and stood near her head. She licked her lips and I slowly lowered my shorts, giving her and Blake time to back out. They didn't.

I kneeled on the couch in front of her and she took me in her mouth. Blake groaned and began moving faster. He was just as turned on as I was.

I ran my hands through her hair as she sucked the head of my cock and then took me all the way to the back of her throat. Her tongue found my piercings as she moved her head in long, sucking strokes on my dick.

My balls were already tingling as she balanced on one hand and lightly cupped them. Her hand traveled back farther and her thumb pressed into my taint, sending me over the edge.

"Fuck, vixen." My cum shot into her mouth and she sucked every bit of me until my legs were trembling.

She pulled away with a grin on her face and wiped the corner of her mouth with her thumb. "Breakfast of champions."

Blake snorted and then pulled her back against his chest. "Let's give our girl an orgasm like she's never had before."

He backed away from the arm of the couch so there was room in front of them and I stood on shaky legs. I ran a hand down her body, and she whimpered as I brushed over her clit.

"She's been wanting to come ever since I came down the stairs." I ran a thumb over her bottom lip as she breathed out in a short little breath every time Blake thrust into her. "Do you want to come, vixen?"

"Yes." She shut her eyes as I lowered my lips to her nipple and sucked it. "I want to come so bad."

I rolled her other nipple between my fingers and then switched, flicking her with my tongue and pinching her. She was trembling as I lowered to my knees in front of her.

I'd never been so close to Blake's naked dick before, even when we were getting ready to shift. It glistened with her juices as he slid in and out of her and I looked up at her. "This is quite the view. I think I'll stroke one out before I-"

"Get that tongue on my clit right now," she growled.

When she said it like that, who was I to deny her? I used my thumbs to spread her open and pressed my tongue against her tight bundle of nerves. Her fingers went into my hair and dug into my scalp.

"Yes, yes!" She rotated her hips in small circles as I began moving my tongue over her clit, occasionally sucking it into my mouth.

She shattered with a strangled cry and nearly toppled forward as Blake continued to pound into her from behind. He thrust a few more times before nearly collapsing on top of the both of us.

"Holy shit." I stood on wobbly legs and pulled Riley against my chest, as Blake stumbled backwards a little bit. "You okay there, Blake?"

"Fine. Just fine." He had a hand on his chest and was panting.

I laughed. Fine was an understatement.

"I don't know if I can handle dancing for long." I parked Blake's car in an empty space in front of the dance studio. "My legs are still really stiff."

Riley unbuckled her seatbelt and turned toward me, putting her hand on my cheek. I loved when she did that. I'd always been a touchy-feely guy, but with Riley's touches, I felt as if she was touching my soul. "Just try. If it's too much, you can watch."

"Oh, I definitely like watching." I winked as her face turned pink.

We hadn't talked about what had happened just a few short hours before. It had been hot as hell and I couldn't wait to explore what else the three, or hell maybe even four of us, would do in the bedroom.

Riley was unlike anyone I'd ever been with. It seemed like overnight she had blossomed into her nickname, a vixen. I could have been having truly mind-numbing sex if only we had discovered each other sooner.

For three years she'd been right there in front of us, and we hadn't seen her because we'd had our eyes closed.

"What are you thinking about?" She grabbed her bag with her dance shoes from the backseat. "Wait, let me guess..."

"Can you blame me?" I grinned. I wasn't about to tell her all the mushy stuff I was thinking.

We got out of the car and headed inside Spotlight Studio. I felt like we hadn't danced in forever. The competition in Hawaii was a few weeks away, but I didn't know if we'd be ready. She would be, but I was unsure if my legs would be able to handle all the dancing.

Bernardo greeted us with a huge smile and even bigger hugs. I was ready to put the work in to make up for the lost time.

"How are you feeling?" Bernardo looked down at my legs as I sat down to put on my dance shoes.

We had told him I had a nasty fall and we weren't sure about our plan to dominate the dance competition in Hawaii. It was just around the corner, and if I was honest with myself, who knew what the next few days and weeks would bring.

"I'm great. We'll see how today goes." I did have my ability to pick up on the steps on sight, but that didn't help with the connection needed for each dance.

I'd always had this innate ability to learn easily by sight. Too bad that skill didn't extend to written words or numbers. It was like learning a foreign language. What good was knowing the square root of something if I was protecting a castle anyway?

I'd never given much thought to ballroom dancing when I'd seen it before, but now I found myself analyzing songs on the radio to see what ballroom dances they'd fit.

Once my shoes were tied, I took Riley's arm and led her to the center of the main floor. When we were dancing, it was just her and me; everything else faded away.

"Let's work on smooth first." Bernardo turned on the music and we began gliding around the dance floor.

Over the next two weeks, we would run through each dance and finetune the technique and showmanship.

I made it about halfway through the lesson before my shins felt like they were about to explode, and I had to sit the rest of the lesson out. Twenty minutes was better than expected and we'd be dancing less than two minutes per dance with plenty of rest time between each dance heat.

I picked up my phone and opened the message I had from Blake.

Blake: When are you and Riley going to be back?

Me: Why? You ready for more of what happened this morning?

Blake: Always down for that, but no. Just wondering.

Me: I was going to take Riley out to dinner, so maybe an hour and a half?

Blake: I think you should come home as soon as you're done there.

Me: Did something happen?

Blake: ...

Me: Just fucking tell me.

Blake: Your parents are here.

I stared at my phone, my hand tightening around it as I read his message over and over. My nose suddenly burned and the words swam in my vision as tears filled my eyes.

"Morgan, are you okay?" Riley's heeled feet came into view and I looked up at her. Concern was etched on her face as she sat down next to me and placed a hand on my back.

"We need to go." Somehow, I managed to talk despite the swell of emotion that threatened to choke me. I felt like I couldn't get enough air and shut my eyes.

"What is it?" Riley sounded panicked.

"My parents... they're back." My parents were in my house. I didn't know how or why, but they were back from being imprisoned. They might as well have been back from the dead.

When Finn had revealed that they weren't dead but were in prison, for a moment, I let myself hope that I would see them again someday. Someday had arrived and I felt like puking.

I don't remember changing my shoes, getting in the car, or the drive back to the house. Riley turned off the car once we were in the garage and put her hand on my thigh.

"Are you ready?" She gave my thigh a squeeze and then got out of the car before I could tell her no.

What was I going to say to them? Was everyone going to be watching us as we reunited? Why had they wanted me to believe they had died?

I followed Riley into the house where laughter from the television greeted us. My heart was beating erratically, anticipating seeing my mom and dad again. I could hardly remember what they looked like. Would they even still look the same?

I half-expected them to be lounging on the couch. In my anxiousness, I didn't even think about my mom not being able to shift; they would be down in the cave.

Jax, Blake, and Olivia sat on the couch and turned to look at us as we came to a stop near the island. I shut my eyes, and when I opened them, Jax was standing in front of me. He put his hands on both biceps and gave them a reassuring squeeze. "They're in the cave."

He let me go, and I walked to the elevator and pressed the button once I was inside. My hands trembled as I took off my clothes before I arrived at the platform.

I didn't know why I was so scared to see them, but I was shaking like a seal that's spotted a shark. They might have changed a lot in the ten years since I'd seen them. I'd only heard about Poseidon's prison, but it was a lonely place where prisoners spent their days in solitude.

I dove into the water, too focused on seeing my parents to pay attention to the pain in my legs and tail as I shifted. I looked around the cave and we spotted each other at the same time.

I swam closer and their eyes fell to my tail. They looked older than I remembered, like they had lived a hundred years during their ten-year absence. I stopped several feet from them, not sure if I should hug them or yell at them.

"Momo." My mom choked on a sob and rushed toward me, hugging me with arms I hadn't felt in so long. I'd dreamed about her arms wrapping around me and her fingers brushing the hair from my forehead when I needed comfort.

"Mom." My arms went around her and I shut my eyes, burying my face in her hair. It was long and flowing just like it had always been and I smiled as it tickled my face.

My dad joined our hug, not saying a word. I could tell he had a lot to say by the way he was clenching his jaw. Was it how sorry he was? Had he heard about my recklessness and injury?

"I thought you were dead." I pulled back but took both of their hands in mine. "For ten years I thought you were dead, and I was all alone."

My dad led us over to the underwater lounge area that we never used. We sat on a long flat rock with them on either side of me.

"Your tail... what happened, son?" My dad's eyes held genuine concern, and I felt guilty for all the shit I'd done over the past decade. I'd been reckless with my body and my mind.

Once upon a time I was a good kid, always following the rules and doing my best not to disappoint them. When they left my life, I acted out by making the stupidest decisions possible without crossing any lines that would get me demoted from my high ranking.

"I crashed on a motorcycle and shifted with my pants and shoes on." My mom gasped and squeezed my hand so hard I thought some bones might break. "Jax and Blake got me to the water quickly."

"Thank the sea stars for that." My dad patted my tail where my knee was.

There was an awkward silence before I addressed the sea elephant in the room. "Why?" It was the only word needed.

My mom was already crying, and it broke my heart all over again. I was happy to have them back, but at the same time, wanted to tear the cave apart and yell at them.

"When I was fairly young, I remember your grandpa coming home with a forlorn look in his eyes I had never seen before.

I overheard him telling my mother that Poseidon had grown upset with the sirens and made the earth swallow them.

My father and the other tritons were told to hunt down the remaining sirens and kill them.

" My dad let go of my hand and began swimming back and forth in front of us.

"Your grandfathers were best friends and didn't agree that the sirens deserved to die because of a few bad ones." My mom tilted her head to the side as if stuck in a memory. "That was how I met your dad."

"I was just at that age where I understood that sometimes you must make decisions that don't follow the rules in order to do what is in your heart.

I watched our fathers build the TAP—Tritons Against Poseidon— from the ground up.

I took over for him when he died." He stopped and looked down at me from where he was floating.

“There were a lot of lives on the line, including the sirens who are trapped.

" He sat back down and took my hand again. "We're sorry."

I looked across the cave where Monty was chilling on the bottom. I had lost so much of my childhood because of their decisions.

"We've always been taught that sirens are dangerous." I stared down at my mutilated tail. "It's all been a lie."

My mom put her hand on my cheek and made me look at her. "Sirens are only dangerous if they are provoked or put in positions that warrant violence, like being on the frontlines."

I leaned into her hand, shutting my eyes. "I missed you, mom."

For the first time in a long time, I felt like things were looking up. Only, deep down inside, I knew something big was coming.
