Epilogue

K athryn decided to take a break from the highways and byways of the country. She hung up her keys and renovated her cottage. It was time for her and Murphy to have room to run and play. Kathryn welcomed the change and went to work with Yoko in her new landscaping and nursery business.

Vinny and Jimmy were released from jail, thanks to someone who posted bond for them.

From that point on, Vinny was an upstanding member of the community, in a neighborhood that was revived because of two separate groups of women—who, when they put their minds to it, made something happen. And if it wasn’t something good, they would change it, lickety-split.
