Chapter 3

Orlando

He was worried about me…that was so cute.

“I just need a little bit of help explaining this to my mother.” I was pretty sure I’d been too nice. “Just don’t make her think she did anything wrong and don’t make her worry.”

That would just make everything more difficult.

Bastian started to open his mouth, but I quickly cut him off. “You know how hard it was for them to agree to let me move out and buy my own house.”

I wasn’t going back to that nonsense.

Hmm.

“I’ll have to explain stuff I don’t want to if I move back home.” That would suck, but Terrence could probably give me some pointers on dealing with it. “I won’t do that.”

Yes, I was supposed to set limits and explain my boundaries to my Daddy.

He sighed, realizing what I’d done on some level because he was an amazing Daddy. “I can understand that.”

Peeking over at the flowers again, he took a second to think before he continued. “You…you probably don’t want to tell them about your new friend yet.”

Hmm.

“No.” I wasn’t sure honesty was always the best policy based on what Terrence had said, but I was pretty sure it would give Bastian a push in the right direction this time.

“You can’t tell my family, but I’m a little and I don’t want to have to take my toys and move back to my mother’s house.

That would not make me comfortable enough to be little. ”

Blink.

Blink.

He opened his mouth and closed it several times, but since I’d already figured out he was a Daddy there wasn’t anything to worry about.

I just had to be patient and that was painful enough.

It only took him about ten seconds to reset his brain, though, and I just pretended not to notice how odd it was.

“I think you’re right then. That’s not a lifestyle that’s easy to live around people who don’t understand it.” Looking over at my flowers, he sighed dramatically.

It looked like Daddies were all as ridiculous as Enzo and it wasn’t just a family thing like I’d thought.

“She’s not going to like you being single and us chasing off someone she thought was a good match.

” Frowning, Bastian stayed focused on the bouquet that was absolutely perfect.

“Are you sure you can’t ask the guy who’s interested in you to go to a family dinner? Just once would make a big difference.”

He was technically right but that wouldn’t work.

My Secret Santa wasn’t real.

“He’s my Secret Santa.” I frowned and aimed to look really innocent as Bastian turned back to me. “I wasn’t going to rush it. We’ve still got two weeks until Christmas.”

Bastian got stuck thinking again for a few moments. “Yes, taking things slow until you get to know a stranger is a good idea, but maybe if we did some research I could help you figure out if he’s a good fit.”

Oh, I could make that work…kind of.

“I’m not ready to stop getting presents yet.” I was starting to agree with Terrence on dragging out the Secret Santa thing. Presents were fun, so there was no reason to rush. “But are you sure you’ll help me? I’m not sure that’s a good idea, but if you think it is…”

Yes, this was going to be his idea.

Still playing slightly dumb, I smiled at him. “You’re very smart and my mother really likes you. She’s not stupid, though. She’s just a pain in the ass and really stubborn, so we’ll have to make it look real.”

Bastian’s mouth dropped open as he realized what I’d implied that he’d suggested.

“Just up until Christmas? I think that would be reasonable and then I can meet my Secret Santa Daddy and he can spank me for being naughty.” Terrence seemed convinced most littles liked those and he wasn’t wrong about anything.

He was weird and kind of stubborn, but he was generally always right about BDSM and little stuff.

I just had to be patient until my slightly stubborn Daddy realized that Terrence was always right too. But with Bastian’s mouth opening and closing like we were in an anime, it took him a few long moments for his brain to decide what the rest of him was going to do. “A spanking?”

That was what he’d gotten stuck on?

What would Terrence say?

Oh.

Bastian liked my ass.

Ha.

“Yes.” As long as it wasn’t too hard I was pretty sure I was going to like it, so I nodded and didn’t have to lie. “I’m very curious about that, but you won’t have to go that far to prove that we’re dating.”

Not in front of my mother, at least.

“Just a few kisses and maybe grab my ass while the family thinks you don’t see them?

” It’d worked for Terrence and Enzo. “You’re already really good at dealing with them, so we don’t have to worry about that.

We just have to make them think you see me as a real boyfriend and not just a weird little brother kind of person. ”

I wasn’t sure how easy that would be or not, but he huffed like he was offended. “I don’t see you as a little brother. That’s ridiculous.”

Really?

This was going to be easier than I’d thought.

“Perfect.” How should we start? “What do you think about going out on a date first? We’ll pretend to be subtle, but they’ll hear about it anyway and that will get the ball rolling.”

I was a genius.

Well, Terrence was a genius and it was easy to figure out what he’d do.

“A date?” Bastian was back to looking slightly braindead and just stopped.

Pretending to understand what he was asking, I rocked back and forth on my feet excitedly and nodded and made a few tiny assumptions about what he’d meant.

“Yeah, we’ll go out to dinner tonight and you can flirt with me.

You’re probably smart and a good actor, so I’m sure you can make it look believable. ”

He’d just have to try harder if he wasn’t a good actor.

Oh well.

“Believable?” Bastian was still only giving simple responses but none of them sounded like a safeword, or a no, so I wasn’t worried.

“I’m glad you agree.” He hadn’t seemed to be arguing at the very least. “Kissing is going to be necessary. The family is big on physical affection between partners. It’s kind of cute until it’s weird.”

They could make a lot of things weird.

“Nothing they do is cute, Orlando. It’s all strange and borderline inappropriate.” It seemed like we’d found a way to get his brain working again. “They’re also pushy and not healthy role models for relationships.”

Oh, I could work with that too.

“Will you help me with that?” It wasn’t a bad idea at all. “Enzo and Terrence are good role models, but you might have a point about everyone else. You can use our fake dates as a good way to show me what a healthy relationship with a guy would look like.”

I really was brilliant.

“And once we’ve stopped my mother’s intrusive dating issues, I’ll figure out what a healthy relationship with a Daddy will look like.

” Even an idiot could’ve figured out how to make that sound dangerous, so I didn’t give myself props as I continued.

“The internet probably has a lot of people who can help me with that.”

Icing on the cake.

“They explained how to get ready for a date with a guy—if you know what I mean—so I’m sure they’ll be helpful with submission and little stuff.” Hmm…was that enough? Na. “I even had a couple of guys offer to help me try diapers for the first time, but I figured my Daddy would want to do that.”

Yep, I was just as smart as Terrence in my own way…I just had no desire to do whatever he did for the government.

I liked working with my hands and I wanted to be able to tell Bastian about my day once he was officially my Daddy.

Glancing over at my flowers again, I didn’t have to fake being excited. “Anyone who gives such nice presents is going to be a great Daddy and really understanding with intimate stuff. Right?”

Bastian certainly was…he just needed a bit more time to realize that.

I was running out of patience, though, so he was just going to get a tiny, very subtle push.

“Um, possibly.” Bastian glanced between me and the flowers I’d picked out for myself. “But not everyone is trustworthy.”

Technically that was correct, so I nodded. “I’m taking it very slow, though.”

That got a cute frown from him. “Only so you can get more presents.”

So?

Terrence thought that was a great plan right up until our patience had run out and we’d given him a nudge too.

Hmm.

“I need more outfits for my bear.” I shrugged like there was nothing I could do about it. “And I need more toys. I just figured out what I was, so I only have a few.”

It was a work in progress, but I wasn’t going too fast on that because I wanted Bastian to help me figure out what kind of little I was. I’d been kind of startled when I’d realized there were a lot of different types.

“And chocolate is always better when I don’t have to buy it myself.”

Bastian knew that so he didn’t bother arguing with me as he sighed again. “This is ridiculous.”

Pretending to misunderstand, I frowned. “My Daddy is going to like that I’m little, so that’s okay.

You don’t have to understand about bottles and diapers or spankings and cuddles.

You just have to flirt a bit and I’ll be patient about the other stuff until my Secret Santa Daddy finally shows himself and I can get to be cute and naughty with him. ”

Okay, maybe that was a bit manipulative but I liked the way he was looking sweet and worried again. “There’s nothing wrong with figuring out who you are and what you need out of a relationship…it was just…everything else that’s hard to process.”

I did my best to look confused. “My family? You’re good at dealing with them and I’m sure you can play pretend just fine. You don’t mind kissing me, right? I promise not to make it weird by doing something like sitting on your lap and wiggling.”

Now he was going to spend half the night picturing me on his lap and wiggling.

I even swung my hips side to side just a tiny bit. “I’ll be very grown-up and appropriate. I’ll even let you lead the intimacy and flirting kind of stuff so you feel in control. Don’t worry. I won’t be picturing you as my Daddy, so it won’t be weird.”

White lies were important in relationships…Terrence had been very sure about that when he’d been telling his friend. They really didn’t come naturally to me, but he was positive they were important, so I’d been practicing.

“I know…” His voice trailed off as he watched me closer like his brain was processing again. “I know you won’t make it weird.”

I wasn’t sure if I wanted him to look more confident about that fact or not, luckily for me, though, he didn’t distract himself over something silly like wondering if I was telling the truth.

“Thank you for letting me be in control of the intimate side of things.” He was still thinking a bit too much, so I gave him my cute face again.

“I can answer questions you might have about anything like that, though. You know…the little and Daddy stuff…or even the spanking stuff because you seemed worried about that.” Being helpful shouldn’t be this devious, but it was somehow. “I’ve been doing a lot of research.”

“I…” Bastian paused, studying me again and looking a bit too serious. “I think I should tell you that I’m familiar with that stuff already, so I won’t need to ask questions unless they pertain to you specifically.”

Oh.

“That’s great.” I hadn’t expected him to confess that until we’d actually gone out on a date. “Then I can practice explaining my limits to you. I’ve never had to do that because most guys just keep pushing until I walk away. Having someone listen the first time is going to be fun.”

Women weren’t always better but it was generally easier to walk away from them when they got weird and pushy.

Bastian frowned again. “Yes, we’re going to practice talking about limits and what a healthy relationship looks like…in BDSM and with regular dates.”

I shrugged. “I’m not going to date regular people any longer. I’m going to date my Daddy. Regular dating has not worked out like anyone told me it would, so I’m just not going to do it.”

Terrence made it clear I could be stubborn about that kind of stuff, so I was going to take a page from his book and be slightly unreasonable.

Besides, Bastian would like that once he got to be my Daddy.

His gaze flicked over to my flowers for just a second. “You’re just going to date your Secret Santa?”

“As long as that works out, yes.” I wasn’t stupid…

Bastian might just be unreasonably stubborn and might have to move to Mars to escape my family when they realized he wouldn’t date me.

That was okay, though. He worked from home, so it wouldn’t be too hard for him to move.

“But even if it doesn’t, I’m going to find a Daddy who will help me explore being little and getting spankings and taking control of bedroom things. ”

I really didn’t like having to be the one in charge of that all the time when it came to women…there was too much mindreading involved with that…and regular guys made stupid decisions when I let them be in charge.

So I was going to find myself a Daddy.

No more having to look confident when I was confused.

No more remembering all the stuff everyone thought was manly.

No more trying to be gruff and confident because women thought that was sexy.

Having a Daddy was going to be amazing.

Bastian swallowed hard but did his best to sound relaxed. “Still going back to that spanking part, huh?”

“Yep.” I’d seen enough online to know that a lot of subs liked those. “I’ve got a list of things to try, but I’m going to wait for my Daddy because the subs online said that he’d really like being my first.”

And judging by the way Bastian quietly groaned, they were right.

I was really starting to appreciate how reliable the information I’d found online had been and I really wished I’d done more exploring when I’d first started dating. But that couldn’t be helped, so I was going to make up for it now.

“What do you think?” Bastian just blinked at me like he wasn’t sure what I’d said. “Do you think my Daddy is going to like being the first to spank me and put me in a diaper? What about being the first to fuck me?”

Too much?

Nope.

He managed to catch his hand before it got to his dick, but every man knew that arm jerk.

This was going to be easier than I’d expected.
