Chapter 23

Chapter Twenty-Three

Angel

After keeping myself and Stella secluded, locked away from the world the past two days, it’s time to get down to business.

While I was at the hospital with my woman, Diablo found Juniper and dragged her to the cabin kicking and screaming.

Today, I’ll be making sure this bullshit ends.

Stella was apprehensive about coming to the clubhouse, and I don’t blame her, but I reassured her that the door had been sealed and no one could ever use it again.

The club voted, mine being proxied by Hellhound, that it needed to be done.

We don’t know who else knows about that shit after I told them about what Stella informed me of regarding Juniper.

We won’t take chances of vulnerabilities against the club.

I left Stella with the ol’ ladies in the main room of the clubhouse and made my way to the cabin. I didn’t want to leave her, but this has to be taken care of, and Azrael, who just patched during church this morning, is watching over her. Azrael was known as Ghoul.

We also patched in Goblin, who is now named Cerberus.

Both of them deserved earning their bottom rockers and their names.

Now we’ve got two more prospects who will start at the bottom.

It’s a good thing the two that we’ve voted on have been around plenty of times so we know them somewhat, but they couldn’t prospect until they turned eighteen.

Making it to the cabin, I find my brothers already there. I step inside, eyes going straight to the bastard strapped to the table. He’s already been stripped of his clothes and has quite a few cuts in the flesh of his stomach.

Quirking a brow, I cock my head and glance at my brothers with a smirk. “You start my own party without me?”

“Just getting him warmed up.” Reaper shrugs. “We had to get our part in before you got yours. We know you’ll finish him. But do it before that bitch blows my eardrums with her screeching.”

I glance in the corner where the cell sits with Juniper within its walls. Her eyes fill with tears as she cries. “Please let me go. Please. Please. Just let me go.”

“I don’t think so. See, we’ve got a friend coming specifically to deal with you. Don’t worry, you’ll be handled the way you deserve.” We might not kill women, and she sure as hell got pushed down that totem pole, but out of respect for Ivy and the others, we’re not gonna put a bullet in the bitch.

Instead, she’s going to the depths of hell.

Trevor was coming out here himself to get her.

I haven’t seen him in years and only have met him in passing, but he’s a character unto himself.

His face is tatted to look that of a skeleton, and he calls himself the lord of the underworld.

Considering the facility he runs, I get why.

Turning my attention from Juniper, I focus on Miles Nelson, the man who thought he could take my woman and nearly abort our baby.

“Got anything to say for yourself?” I ask, moving to the side of the table.

“Go to hell,” he spits. “You kill me, and my family will kill you all.”

“That’s where you’re wrong,” Hellhound sneers. “The Ryans have already made it known that you are dead. If they try anything, they’ll have a war on their hands. One they won’t want.”

“You lie,” Miles seethes.

“No reason to lie,” Hellhound states, shrugging.

Pulling my knife from where it sits at my waist, I twirl it around and meet Miles’s gaze as I decide where to start.

“Scythe, get the needle and thread,” I state, not taking my eyes off the bastard.

I hear my brother move around and grab what I need as I lean over Miles and push the tip of the blade into the socket. Using my free hand, I reach down and pop his eyeball out while he screams, unable to move.

Once I’ve got both eyes in my hand, I pry the bastard’s mouth open, gripping it firmly to keep him from doing anything I didn’t want him to do.

One by one, I force the eyeballs into his mouth and make him swallow the damn things down.

Releasing his jaw, I hold his mouth closed while Scythe sews the bastard’s mouth closed.

Only when he finishes do I release him and move on.

For hours, I take my time slicing into his skin, the entire time Juniper is screaming like a banshee in the background. They mix with Miles’s muffled screams through his sewed mouth.

I debate cutting his dick off, but instead of doing that, I grab an iron stake and ram it through his shriveled up limp dick.

The sound of a few of my brothers’ groans at the simple act doesn’t go unheard. It’s something no man wants to feel, but this bastard deserved it.

Finishing up, I take a secondary blade and plunge it into Miles’s heart and twist it in place.

I back away from the body lying on the table and take in my handy work. Satisfied he got what he deserved, I spin on my heel and face my brothers.

“Who’s ready for a beer?” I ask.

Reaper is the first to shake his head and step forward. “Let’s get that beer.” He chuckles.

My brothers start chuckling alongside Reaper and cracking jokes.

For the time being, the drama is done with. Stella is safe and no one will touch her. Not this time around. And if anyone dares try again, I’ve no problem killing them as I did Miles Nelson. My woman and club are everything to me, and I’ll do what it takes to make sure nothing happens to them.

Thinking of Stella, I grin as I remember she agreed to marry me, and I need to ask Reaper about the two rings we were both left.

One is our mom’s, and one belongs to our grandmother.

Whichever one he doesn’t want, I’ll take.

With Reaper being the oldest, he gets first rights at picking.

Both are perfect and mean something to me.

But more importantly, Stella’s agreed to be at my mercy for the rest of our lives, just as I’m at hers.
