Chapter 24 #3

My heart swelled as I felt him prowl up my body, his lips trailing kisses on my skin until they brushed my ear.

“If I keep eating your pussy, I won’t be coming inside it.

So, I’m going to fuck you real hard, now.

And after I’m done filling you up with my cum, I’m going to do it again.

” I nodded, moaning as his cock started to push inside.

“Be a good girl and scream loud enough to wake the neighbors, darlin’.

I want them to know how much you love bein’ mine. ”

He thrust deep, like he promised, the pressure from his other piercing above his cock sending bolts of pleasure up my spine.

My mind was going numb, my body humming and floaty-feelin’ as he captured my cries with his lips.

I pulled him closer with my legs, wanting to be as close to him as possible.

Grant’s thrusts turned rabid and hard, and I could feel the second he started spilling into me, hips jerking and chest rumbling with a deep groan that vibrated my lips and tongue as we kissed.

Our kisses slowed, and when he pulled the blindfold off me, his hazy eyes latched onto mine.

“I’m here.” He pushed the damp curls from my face, then cupped my cheek and kissed me one more time so sweetly, I thought I was dreaming.

Maybe that’s what this whole night was—I was still in one of Riyan’s SUV’s, being taken back to Texas on a cocktail of drugs my body couldn’t handle. This couldn’t be real.

“Hey, Peach.” Grant’s lilting voice brought me back from that thought.

“That just us day isn’t over yet.” He trailed his fingers along my side.

“Let’s get the belt off you.” I rolled to the side, allowing him to remove the belt.

The pad of his thumb rubbed along my skin before I lifted them, checking for myself.

He smiled softly as he said, “No marks.”

My brows pinched. “How?”

“Being rough and leaving marks don’t go hand-in-hand. Just have to know how to tie things correctly and how hard to go before it’s too far.”

I glanced at the black bandana at his side. “I’ve…I’ve always hated being blindfolded. Ever since…”

He nodded slowly in understanding and picked it up, passing it to me. “He did it to you, didn’t he?”

I bit the inside of my cheek, watching his jaw work as I nodded slowly. Instead of leaving me in the dark, Grant kept me in the present with him. He let me know what he was doing, and who was doing it. He made me feel safe. Secure.

His fingers tucked beneath my chin, pulling my focus back to him. “You’re always gonna be safe with me, Peach.” Moisture pooled in my eyes, a mix of happiness and sadness all at once. “I wanna show you somethin’.”

He threaded our fingers and gently pulled me from the bed. I marveled at the unmarred skin along my wrists as he fit a t-shirt over my head. My body was still humming as he pulled me into the room beside his.

A dim yellow light glowed over a large wooden tank, spanning more than half the wall. “What is this?”

Grant wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. “Remember that girl you were awfully jealous of?”

“Jealous? Me?”

“Oh, yes, you were.” His chin shuffled on the crown of my head. “She’s in there.”

A pale yellow body slithered along a log. “So…” I shook my hands at my sides. “So, I just walk up there?”

“Yeah.” Grant pressed us forward, walking slowly toward the tank. “June ain’t gonna hurt you. She’ll love you.”

Love.

I was so stricken by the word he’d used that I gasped when he stepped in front of me, June wrapping around his forearm, slithering up his neck. He laughed as he tried pulling her from him, but she looked mighty content.

I swallowed down my fear and stepped up closer to them. Grant’s smile as I did so made my heart flutter wildly, giving me the final push to rest my hand on his and work my way up.

“Atta girl,” Grant whispered, and whether he was talkin’ to me or June, I had no clue. The fear evaporated as I watched him, my hand working up and up until it settled just beneath the tip of her tail.

“Here,” he said, taking my hand and guiding it down her scales. I flinched, but not from fear. June was smooth and warmer than I expected. “See? She loves you.” There’s that word again.

I allowed him to drape the possibly two foot long snake over my shoulders, her eager tongue flicking out along my face, forcing a giggle from me.

“Before you ask, you’re definitely the only woman I’ve let hold June. Besides Tallulah and Farrah, but they don’t count.”

“Right.” I snorted, stroking June’s scales in the direction he’d shown me. “I dunno why I was so afraid before.”

“It’s easier to find the unknown terrifying,” Grant replied, shrugging a single shoulder like he hadn’t just spoken the most true thing I’d ever heard.

It was fucking terrifying going into the unknown, but the outcome? Maybe that was all worth it in the end. I was so lost in thought, I’d missed Grant pulling June from my shoulders and putting her back in the cage. The feel of his lips on my forehead snapped me back to the present.

The unknown.

“C’mon. Let’s go shower and eat somethin’ before bed.”
