Epilogue 2
EPILOGUE 2
My Dearest Eli,
As I watch you sleep in your cradle, I am filled with a love I never knew possible. Your tiny face, your perfect fingers curled around mine—I didn't realize until you arrived how much our family was missing. You have completed us in a way I couldn't have imagined.
I’m honored that God would entrust your mother and I with your care, with your safety. I know without a doubt we can only accomplish it with His grace.
There was a time when I feared losing control, when the weight of responsibility for our family felt almost too much to bear. But slowly, God showed me that He is trustworthy, that I need not carry these burdens alone. He has a plan, little one, for you and for all of us.
A plan for abundance beyond our hopes.
I've written down our family's stories, of the journeys and trials that brought us to where we are. The land has been divided now, freeing your uncles to follow the paths God has set before them. And you, my son—never be afraid to trust the Lord with your future. He will guide your steps, whether they lead you to the highest office in the land, or to a small ranch, surrounded by a loving wife and the laughter of your children.
I know you will do great things, son. You have a legacy of faith as your foundation, and a future bright with promise. No matter where life takes you, remember that your mother and I love you beyond measure, and that God holds you in the palm of His hand.
Your loving father,
Jericho
