Epilogue

OCEAN

Seven years later, in their hideaway home…

“You taste her, don’t you?” Hunter’s mouth was full, so she couldn’t respond, but her hand moving faster inside her leggings told me she did. “Yeah, you do. Our greedy little wife made a mess before she ditched me. Be a good girl and clean it up for me, baby.”

Hunter shivered and nodded while I forced another inch of my dick down her throat, fucking her mouth without restraint.

Goddamn.

I could feel my nut rising when my office door burst open.

I looked over my shoulder and swore viciously, hurriedly slipping my dick out of my wife’s mouth and back into my sweats as soon as I saw a small form running full speed for my desk.

“Aye, little girl! Stop right there!”

“Oooooh!” my worrisome daughter said, stopping in her tracks after hearing me cursing up a storm. “Daddy said bad words again. I’m telling Mama Coby. She gon’ get you.”

“Nevaeh.”

Hearing her mother’s voice but not seeing her, our six-year-old daughter frowned before inching closer like she thought something would jump out at her from behind the curtains.

She was distrustful and stubborn, just like her damn mama.

And too smart for her own good, which is why I shot Hunter an annoyed look. Nevaeh had already been on her way back out the door. Hunter had just given her a reason to stay.

Explaining to our daughter why she had two moms and a dad had been hard enough.

I wasn’t ready to explain what mommies and daddies did when they loved each other.

Realizing her mistake, my wife quickly swiped a hand over her mouth, and I helped her wobble to her feet, rubbing my hand over her swollen belly where my son grew.

Abel was still grumbling over me knocking her up since he’d trained Hunter a little too well.

It had only made sense to make her his second in command.

It also meant he got more time off, even though I didn’t know why he needed it.

Motherfucker didn’t know how to relax if someone slapped him with the instructions.

“You okay, Vengeance?”

“Perfect.”

I couldn’t help feeling up that incredible ass as I leaned down to kiss her. “Tell me you love me.”

She reached up, her heart and gaze open as her soft hand stroked my beard. “I love you, Ocean.”

I never got tired of hearing it.

Every time felt like the first, which had happened the night I almost lost them both. I had been apologizing for not being there when she blurted out that she loved me. It was the moment I learned what it felt like to be weak in the knees.

“I love you too.”

Nevaeh paused after seeing her mother get up from behind the desk, her long pigtails swaying when she cocked her head and put her little hands on her hips like she was the parent. “Mama…what were you doing down there?” she yelled like she was appalled.

“I was looking for something,” Hunter answered sternly, letting our daughter know the subject was closed. “What did your father tell you about knocking?”

Nevaeh suddenly started looking around guiltily and shrugged.

“Little girl…”

Just as Hunter was about to lay into her, Coby walked in carrying our son. Nevaeh immediately ran to her and wrapped her arms around her waist with a fake ass pout. “Mama Coby, they’re being mean again. And daddy cursed.”

“Snitch.” I ran over and tickled Nevaeh’s stomach, making her giggle and beg for mercy until she couldn’t take it anymore.

She ran to hide behind Hunter.

Taking the baby from Coby, my wife smirked at the dirty look I gave her.

Coby knew what she’d done—using me to get off and then leaving me hanging with a hard dick because the little cockblocker in my hands started crying.

I lifted my son and kissed his fat cheek.

My kids were growing too fast for my liking. I need time to slow down. I needed more moments like this with them.

I worked way too fucking much, but my wives were patient with me.

Most of the time.

“You’re going to make this up to me tonight,” I warned Coby in a low tone. “And I don’t want to hear shit about you being sleepy or wanting a back rub first.”

Coby smiled and leaned in to kiss me, giving my dick a surreptitious squeeze while Nevaeh was distracted with rubbing her mother’s belly and talking to her new little brother. “I sent Hunter to find you. You didn’t come?”

I shook my head.

“Aww, you poor thing,” she cooed, stroking my dick through my sweats. It gave an excited jerk under her palm.

“Shit, girl. I fucking love you,” I blurted.

“I love you too, hubby.” I pulled Coby closer for another kiss, and Adonis immediately latched onto her hair and yanked. “Ow!”

He already had a fucking death grip at only a few months old.

After freeing his mother, I carried our son over to the sofa.

Sitting, I stared at him as I always did, wondering what his future held. Unlike my father, I made a vow to let him follow his own path.

My son stared back and suddenly smiled as if he could see right through to my heart.

Did he find me worthy?

Did he feel how much I loved him?

Did he know how terrified he made me?

I had these same questions when Nevaeh was born, and she still scared the shit out of me. I was afraid that I’d screw them up—that I’d turn cold and cruel like my father had been.

May he rest in shit.

Asshole finally up and died a year after I turned him into a stump.

Adonis babbled emphatically while bouncing on his legs as if he’d read my mind and agreed.

“Yeah, fuck him,” I secretly whispered to my son.

Adonis screeched and bounced even harder.

It was a blessing that he’d never known his grandfather.

Unfortunately, he’d never know his grandmother either.

My mom died a year ago while Coby was pregnant with our second child.

The first time she’d gotten pregnant was shortly after she and Hunter were married, but she suffered a miscarriage.

It had nearly broken us all, but none more than Coby.

We helped each other through it, but Coby had been so crushed that she refused to try again, out of fear that it would happen again.

And then, after one reckless weekend in Greece, our baby boy was born.

He’d shown up and restored her faith in fate.

Now, Adonis was only a few months old, and Coby was already pregnant again. It was my first time knocking her and Hunter up together, and I admit… I’ve been walking around like my nuts were full of magic ever since.

Nevaeh ran over and climbed onto the sofa next to me. Hunter and Coby snuck out while Nev told me about her new teacher, Mrs. Harris, who was nice, and how she wasn’t talking to her little friend Prudence anymore because her dad said I was a bad man.

“Are you bad, daddy?”

For a moment, I was stuck between the truth and a lie.

I knew the day would come when my daughter would come to understand our way of life, but I wasn’t ready for that dose of reality yet. I wanted to keep being her hero.

“What do you think?” I asked.

“No way! You’re nice to my brother, my mommies, and me. You watch Doc McStuffins with me and make the best chocolate milk.”

I smiled down at her while I quietly wrestled with indecision once more. “I have done bad things, baby girl. My job… it isn’t a nice one. But I want you to know that I love you, and I would never hurt you or your brother.”

“I know, daddy. I’ve been bad sometimes, too. I ate two cookies yesterday when Mama Coby said I could only have one, and I knew I was supposed to knock first, but I just forgot.”

I said a silent prayer that she’d stay this innocent forever. “That’s okay. We’ll just keep it between us.”

Nevaeh exhaled as if relieved to have lifted that burden off her shoulders. She rested her head against my arm and sighed again. “I don’t care what Prudence says. You’re the best dad ever. She’s stupid anyway, and her hair is ugly.”

I swear to fucking God, I’d never felt taller.

Coco’s old cranky ass, who I hadn’t noticed napping in the corner, growled as if he agreed. It was more likely that he wanted us to shut up already.

“Yeah, she sounds like a fucking hater,” I agreed. Nevaeh giggled, and I perked a brow. “You’re not going to tell Mama Coby that I cursed?”

She shook her head without lifting it from my arm. “Not this time, daddy.”

“Thanks, baby girl. Let’s go see what your mommies are up to.”

Adonis just babbled and drooled while Nevaeh took my hand. The three of us left the room, my daughter talking my ear off while we traveled through Glamis in search of Hunter and Coby.
