Chapter 68
CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHT
NICOLE
“Come with me,” I purred, grasping Officer Clawson’s hand and leading him into a sleazy motel room down by the beach.
He kicked the door closed behind us and followed me deeper into the small room toward the bed.
With every stride forward, the gun on his hip thudded against his thigh, and his badge shone underneath the flickering room lights. Before he could notice Akio in the dark corner, I twirled us around and shoved him back on the bed.
“Is this what you want?” I asked.
Clawson’s cock was rock hard inside his pants. I unbuckled his belt and pulled it off his waist. Then, I grabbed all the weapons that he could use off his waistband—first the baton, then the gun—and I set them on the side table, promising that he’d be more comfortable this way.
He lay back, his hands behind his head, and stared at me. “You’ve grown up.”
I gazed up at him with sultry eyes, wanting to hurl. “Not a little girl anymore.”
“I kinda liked you that wa?—”
Before Officer Clawson could finish his sentence, Akio snuck over from behind him and wrapped a rope around his neck. Clawson tried to get ahold of the rope, but Akio tightened it so quickly that he wasn’t able to grip it before it started chafing into his neck.
“Do what you want with him,” Akio said, staring up at me. “Anything you want.”
My lips curled into a smirk as the officer continued to fight for his life on the mattress, but Akio easily restrained him. I hurled my fist into his nose as hard as I could and relished in the crack that echoed through the room. I kneed him in the balls, slammed his baton into his head repeatedly, and clawed his eyes out with my freshly manicured fingers. I did it again and again, over and over, until my arms fell by my sides, and I stepped back.
The man had stopped moving minutes ago, but I hadn’t been able to stop myself.
Akio had given me the opportunity to do whatever I wanted, and I had taken it.
I was tired of feeling weak around men who had abused me for years. I was sick of not putting up a fight, of letting them use me for their pleasure, of being raped, of people I loved dying because some men got off on hurting women.
Fuck that .
No more weak Nicole. No more pushover Nicole.
Rage-filled Nicole was here to stay. Revenge-seeking Nicole wanted payback.
I didn’t care what it took. I would ruin their lives one by one, just like they had ruined mine, just like they had taken Hannah’s away from her. Everyone who had hurt me in the past would be done for. And if I couldn’t do it, Akio would.
Finally, Akio released Officer Clawson and stood. After grabbing Clawson’s gun from the side table, Akio aimed it at the officer’s head and wasted no time shooting three rounds into his skull. Blood splattered everywhere, but Officer Clawson was nothing but a corpse now.
He couldn’t hurt any more children. Nor could he hurt me.
