Chapter 2 Following the Plan

I missed a few days of classes.

Back at school, Gu Zhaoyu guiltily tutored me, I perked up to listen, but while listening, I got distracted, and a plan gradually formed in my heart.

I could be Gu Zhaoyu's follower.

Follow the wolf to eat meat, follow the sheep to eat grass.

As long as I could stay by Gu Zhaoyu's side, I could always eat meat.

Gu Zhaoyu studied well, in the dream, he got into a good university, then step by step became successful.

With my grades, I definitely couldn't get into that university, but I could take the special talent route, enter the art major at that school.

Once I made up my mind, I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Gu Zhaoyu paused, hesitantly said: "Did the doctor really... say you could be discharged?"

What was that supposed to mean!

I glared at him, I was perfectly fine.

I started practicing painting hard.

What I used to doodle casually, now I picked up again, polishing it like a treasure.

I wasn't worried about cultural classes, Gu Zhaoyu had my back.

For three years in high school, Gu Zhaoyu was my free tutor for three years.

Sometimes he got irritable.

"You don't understand this? Were you even paying attention in class?"

"It's all your fault, you knocked my brain silly, I used to be so smart."

Gu Zhaoyu half-believed it, he hadn't seen what I was like before, he couldn't refute.

But he eventually quieted down, dutifully tutoring me.

My mom gave him tutoring fees, he didn't accept.

My mom had me bring him food and drinks.

Under my feeding, he went from a skinny boy to gradually becoming handsome and refined.

One day, I dreamed that my figure model turned into Gu Zhaoyu.

I was terrified.

I actually had that kind of dream about a classmate.

Too shameful.

To show I was an upright, pure, innocent person, I hurriedly signed up for a painting training camp, closed training, didn't see Gu Zhaoyu for half a year.

Until the college entrance exam ended, filling out applications, I didn't meet him, only heard about the school he applied to, and filled in the exact same one.

After that, everything went smoothly, Gu Zhaoyu and I became university alumni.

I ran to find him every few days.

Wherever he went, I shamelessly followed.

When he visited teachers, I served tea, poured water, prepared snacks, let them chat comfortably, then sat aside listening with relish.

Later, because of his excellence, Gu Zhaoyu did projects with teachers.

I helped them, prepared materials, organized everything neatly.

In junior year, Gu Zhaoyu applied for the school's startup fund, did his own project.

I went with him to meet clients.

The client said: "Is this your Secretary?"

Gu Zhaoyu was stunned, then recovered: "Yes, she is my Secretary."

From then on, I became Gu Zhaoyu's Secretary, starting the business with him.

Whatever stocks he bought, I bought.

Whatever he invested in, I followed.

Later, I established a company, specifically competing for small deals Gu Zhaoyu was too lazy for, over time, it developed, gained strength to compete with Gu Zhaoyu.

This competition turned us into mortal enemies.

By the time I realized, Gu Zhaoyu already saw me as his number one archenemy.

Every day he gnashed his teeth cursing the other company's boss.

I listened with fear, always feeling one day Gu Zhaoyu would find out about me.
